Now this is an interesting development...
1 Video View·Oct 2, 2026
has missed almost every single bit of the season so far, but now a return is incoming.
So guys, obviously a lot to go over on the Jets and we're going to dive right into it.
Make sure to go ahead and subscribe if you are part of that percentage that is not yet subscribed.
65% of viewers aren't and it is completely free to do as myself and Josh are coming at you with daily New York Jets content.
We got some shorts coming out every single day now as well.
Tons of Jets content.
There's your one-stop shop for all Jets news, but jumping into the video,
we did get a few different updates on the team,
which certainly are going to have a big impact on the Jets in this coming week to the Bears.
The Bears are banged up, notably Caleb Williams,
so obviously it gives the Jets a very good chance to win the game.
At the same time though, the Jets are dealing with their own banged up couple of players.
Rich Cimini did announce that not practicing today.
Mason Taylor, Brees Hall, Adonai Mitchell, Dylan Parman, Keiko Mawego were all week to week.
Now this was yesterday, September 30th, that we didn't see them practice.
So Wednesday is a big benchmark day because if they don't practice then at all,
they're probably limited Thursday, which means they're probably not going to play on Sunday.
Now, on the other side of things, Minka Fitzpatrick should be back
as Aaron Glenn said there's a good chance that Minka does play on Sunday.
So obviously a lot of big stuff there.
The most notable one has to be Brees Hall. Like let's be real.
It's Brees. He's one of the best players on the Jets.
We knew this one was coming as well. This one a little less surprising.
Overall, 51 rush attempts this season, 163 yards and a touchdown.
He's had a solid start to the season. Overall has been effective as per usual,
but now he goes down and he's going to be replaced.
And just like that, Mason Taylor is also going to see a replacement
who's only had two receptions on the year, didn't play against the Lions.
Neither did Adonai Mitchell.
But honestly, as much as those guys going down hurts, this is still a defensive team.
This is still a team that wants to win based off their defense.
And I believe they can do that, especially with Minka Fitzpatrick coming back.
And they're going to have to,
because now they don't have Adonai Mitchell, Brees Hall, Mason Taylor.
It does limit them.
So you want the defense to show up and show out and hopefully get an interception
because now it's been three games into this season and they still don't have one.
And right now their chance to get an interception before week six.
If you do trade yes on that on Calci,
will you have a good chance to make a dollar?
Because they're going to get one, especially with Minka Fitzpatrick coming back.
And thank you to Calci for sponsoring today's video.
On Calci, you're trading directly against other users,
not the house like traditional sports books.
You're buying yes or no contracts on the act of events across sports,
politics, and even the weather.
For example, the Jets getting their next interception before week six of the season.
Obviously they didn't get one last year.
The only team in modern history to not ever get an interception all season long.
And this season they haven't gotten one yet.
But over the next three weeks, there's a 93% chance they do get one.
So maybe not a ton of money on the table with this trade here,
but it will be good to see when they finally do get their interception.
But if you do want to trade, no,
you have a very good chance to really make some money out of it.
And guys, honestly, here's the thing.
Calci is the place to be because when,
if you're interested in trying Calci out,
make sure to click the link in our description or in the pin comment down below
and use code digest NFL when you trade your first $25,
you will get $55 from Calci.
It's a great deal for you.
It helps out a ton for the channel and guys diving back into the video.
There is a ton of stuff that we have to look at on this Jets roster because look,
first of all, we know Braylon Allen's going to get a lot of playing time.
Now, he's going to be the starting running back and the Jets like Braylon Allen a lot.
They've been big Braylon Allen fans.
Obviously, he didn't really play last year.
He went down with an injury, missed the majority of the season.
But overall, he already has a touchdown this year,
61 yards for the power running back and he is a talented player.
He's more of a short down guy.
So we will see Isaiah Davis as well get a good amount of time in there as well.
It wouldn't be shocking if the Jets also use Kane Nwankwu a little bit.
If he's able to get healthy, he's been dealing with some injuries,
obviously. If it is just those two,
I imagine the Jets might bring someone in as well.
They might bring in another running back just in case,
just to have someone else in the squad.
Neither Davis or Allen really is like a good receiver out of the running back spot.
That's Brees Hall who does that well.
So overall, it does raise some questions regarding
what the Jets really want to do going forwards with that position.
But at the same time, we'll see Braylon Allen play a lot.
I think the Jets also want to know just how good Braylon Allen is.
Obviously, Brees Hall is on a long-term contract now,
which does make for an interesting discussion because frankly guys,
it might make Braylon Allen expendable down the line.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Jets do want to see if he does hold any value
and whether they're going to keep him and use him more
and maybe not bell cow Brees Hall as much
or maybe they want to move on from him
and they can probably get a fifth or a fourth round pick out of him
if he's playing really, really well, which is,
I mean, they tried to get a third for Brees.
They didn't, so he didn't end up going to the Chiefs.
But overall, in this scenario here,
I do really think the Jets like Braylon Allen
and they want to not really bell cow Brees
because they don't want him to get hurt like he, you know, just did.
So obviously a lot to look at there
and Aaron Glenn also had some comments on everything going down
and he did say, listen, I'm concerned with Brees.
I'm concerned with Parham.
I'm concerned with any of the guys that have injuries
and the thing is I just don't know the extent of what the injury is right now.
So as soon as I get a chance to know,
I get a chance to tell you guys exactly what it is,
but I know this man, we have Braylon, we have Isaiah.
When Glenn first took over,
he said it's going to be a running back by committee,
but everyone's going to be happy with the way that their touches are going.
Brees Hall initially didn't like that.
He wants to be a guy who's getting all the touches in the world.
Remember, he posted that thing like that monkey,
like holding the phone in anger with like a cigarette in his mouth.
But overall, and then obviously the thing where he kind of asked to be freed,
but he's here, he's on a long-term contract
and it sounds like he wants to be here.
So I imagine that he's warmed up to Glenn.
Glenn has obviously used Brees a ton.
There's a good offensive line,
even with Parham out, who's been an excellent guard this year,
absolutely great signing by Muji,
but they're now just going to have to,
I mean, they just traded for another signer,
so they can move some things around, make sure they get that right.
And obviously the Jets are going to be able to figure it out
and hopefully the offensive line stays doing pretty well.
Now, Sleeper Jets did mention that Brees Hall
has more than doubled his missed tackle forced rate
from last season at 17.8 to a 36.8 per next-gen stats.
He's also the only running back this season
with multiple rushes of 20 plus miles per hour.
Brees has been an absolute beast.
This year.
So not having him, Braylon Allen's a different style of play,
which again, I wouldn't be shocked if the Jets use Isaiah Davis a lot
to see what he can add as well or see what more he can add.
Now, Sean Syed, he did mention on Twitter
that when it comes to Mason Taylor missing,
now Kenyon Sadiq is the tight end wanted,
is not going to lose that role as his weekly performance
along with percentiles for a tight end.
He had seven catches, which is in the 93rd percentile,
105 receiving yards, which is in the 98th percentile,
46 yards after catch, which is in the 96th percentile,
and 0.308 targets per route run,
which is in the 91st percentile.
The man's a friggin stud.
He's gonna be up there with Trey McBride,
with Brock Bowers,
is one of the best tight ends in the league very, very soon.
If he's, I mean, obviously you can say he's already there.
It's been three games, but still, I mean, he's rushed for a touchdown.
He's got a receiving touchdown last game.
I am so excited.
Kenyon Sadiq.
Obviously, I don't want to see Adonai Mitchell go down
because he's had a great season and he will be back.
It's a finger injury.
He'll be able to get back soon,
but obviously you can't really catch
if your finger's messed up.
So overall, I do think that we'll see Kenyon Sadiq continue
to have a very high target rate.
He'll effectively be the second best receiver on the team
outside of Garrett Wilson.
So he'll get a lot of,
he'll just get a lot of targets.
Same for Garrett.
So obviously those dudes are going to have similar production weeks,
which worked well for the Jets.
And if Gino's able to play well against this Bears team,
then I see no reason why the Jets can't beat the Bears.
But what do you guys think?
