Oh, got a tree down!
Whoa!
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
You guys hearing this? Look.
Extreme drought conditions in the Raleigh-Durham area are causing trees to collapse.
That's this area.
Hundreds are already down and casualties have been reported.
Oh my goodness, okay.
This might make sense, guys.
All over my property, there are trees that are falling down every single day.
There are more and more trees that are just falling over.
But it's not a storm, it's not wind, it's not a hurricane or tornadoes.
They just seem like they're mysteriously toppling over.
It's actually insane.
And as crazy as it sounds, I'm starting to wonder if there is someone that is doing this to me on purpose.
We're almost home, guys.
In the last video, one of these trees fell over.
It's this one right here, and it's massive.
This thing is over 100 years old, and it ripped up some electrical wires, causing issues at the koi pond.
The tree is still here because it's so big, we don't even know how to chop it up to take it down.
It's literally massive.
And it didn't stop there, guys.
There are more trees every single day just toppling down all over the property.
It doesn't make any sense.
Like, look at this one.
This just happened yesterday.
We're about to pull up to it right now.
It's split in half, and it's literally blocking the driveway.
I can't even get up to this house.
Look, it's covering the entire road.
Hang on a second. Stay right here, okay?
We have an Amazon package just sitting right here.
It's because there is more than one tree blocking to the house.
Delivery guys can't even go up my driveway.
This is crazy.
I'm getting a little bit worried, guys, because trees are massive.
They can be heavy, and they can cause severe damage if they land on you, your house, or your car.
And that happens all the time.
And the amount of trees I have on my property, it's a lot.
And the fact that they're falling every single day is scary.
I need to go find Matt.
Let's talk to him, and I think he'll know what to do, know how to fix this.
Let's go.
Matt, we have more trees falling down on the property.
It seems like every day there's another huge tree that's ripping in half and making a huge mess.
I'm worried something's going to happen or someone's going to get hurt.
Yeah, it's not looking very good.
I mean, it's kind of crazy just how many have fallen in the past, like, two days.
Yeah, I'm not really sure what to do.
We have another one that just fell over at the guest house there blocking the driveway.
Another one?
Two?
You mean another one next to the one that already fell?
Yes, there's one on the road, and then there's another one that just fell blocking the driveway, even more.
Oh, my gosh.
It seems like every day we come out there's more, so I don't know what to do.
How do we stop the trees from just falling over?
I don't know.
I might have to call a tree expert or something.
Okay, that sounds like a good idea.
In the meantime, I'm going to go investigate what's going on.
Okay, yeah.
All right.
I'm going to call somebody.
Sounds good.
Let me know what you find out.
All right.
Okay, we got to go.
This is literally insane.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, my goodness, guys, look at this tree.
The way this is hanging down, I feel like this might be the next tree to go.
I might be able to pull this over.
Okay, watch out.
This actually might fall.
That is actually insane.
I don't know, guys.
I don't know if it's just my property of weird trees going on or what, but I swear, something
bad's going to happen.
Oh.
We got a tree trap.
Oh.
You caught that, right?
You're rolling?
I was just standing under that tree.
Oh, my gosh.
I was literally just talking about this tree coming down.
Oh, it broke the fence.
It broke the gate.
This is what I've been worried about, guys.
When trees fall, it's super dangerous.
This thing is massive.
I mean, literally, if this happened 10 seconds ago, it would have been on me.
If it happened a minute ago, it would have landed on my truck.
What the heck?
Did you hear that?
Yes.
This tree just fell down.
Look how big it is.
That is insane.
Oh, no way.
What is going on?
It's your snap.
Oh, what the heck?
This is literally the same branch that hit me in the head that I yanked on.
Did I just pull it down?
How could it be that fragile?
It could have been.
I mean, we got storm clouds coming, but it's not stormy.
This is the weird part, guys.
It's a sunny, beautiful day.
It's not raining.
We're in a drought.
It's not windy.
And these trees just fall every day, like clockwork, one per day.
It just snapped halfway in the air.
Oh, my gosh.
Look at this.
Oh, my goodness.
All right, careful.
This thing could still topple over.
See, this is what's happening.
Take a look at that.
All of the trees that are falling are splitting.
They're not getting cut.
They're not, like, I don't know, rotten.
They, like, split.
Like, something's wrong.
Yeah, it just, like, split right there.
Oh, my.
Oh, what the heck?
Look at this.
It split, Matt, like eight feet straight down.
Oh.
We got all kinds of stuff.
Could this be part of it?
Are those tarps?
These are ants.
They look like ants.
This is so bizarre.
This is very strange.
What the heck?
Look at the way that they're splitting.
What kind of timing is this?
Do we have, like, a fungus that's, like, infecting the trees or something?
I don't know.
Every single one to date has had this big split down the center.
Big split.
And they happen just broad daylight.
It's not like a windy storm.
Yeah, it's a little windy, but, like, not, like, tear down the trees windy.
No, especially something this big.
Yeah.
Look at all these.
These aren't even termites, though.
I think these are ants.
Oh.
Yeah.
Oh, my goodness.
Look at all that larva.
Wow.
That is really bizarre.
Don't get these on you now.
Oh, my goodness.
I am actually speechless.
You have to be so careful.
That's the one thing that I've learned about trees, which sounds so silly.
Trees are everywhere.
You don't think much of them.
But when they come down, they are huge.
They are heavy.
And they can cause serious damage.
And I think we broke the fence and the gate.
Oh, no.
The gate doesn't look good.
We'd have to go look at the hinges to see how much deflection we got.
I guess we'll have to walk around.
I mean, when these fall, it's like a forest fell.
This thing is huge.
Yeah, I wonder how much this weighs.
I don't even know.
We're going to have to bring in the machines to cut this up and haul it.
And this is, like, tree number seven or six?
I don't even know.
We can't keep up with it, guys.
We're actually ridiculous.
Watch out.
Like, anything could fall right now.
And they fall blocking the driveways.
They always are falling blocking the road.
All of our driveways are blocked now.
There isn't a single tree falling on the property that isn't blocking something.
Yeah, they're all at roadways.
The front road, which fell decent, actually.
It's not blocking it.
Yeah, luckily.
Two blocking the other one.
This one blocking this one.
And then there's the one in the backyard up that way.
And then there'll be another one tomorrow.
Right.
As if things couldn't get any crazier, all of a sudden, we heard some loud thunder in the distance.
And we realized that things were about to get a whole lot worse.
We have a big storm coming in now.
All of a sudden, we've had beautiful weather.
I'm worried that this wind is going to take down a lot of trees.
It probably will.
I don't know what we're supposed to do, where we're supposed to go.
We have trees surrounding the house everywhere.
And this storm.
I think more trees are about to fall.
Yeah.
Just a matter of time.
It has to be.
If they're falling during a normal day, what's a storm going to do?
Guys, I'm really, really worried about this.
I don't know what we're going to do.
Should we just go hang out in the middle of the field all night?
Yeah.
Where there's no trees?
They could crush my house.
Crush my car.
Oh, man.
This is not looking good, guys.
All right.
Well, I'm going to go check on the other part of the property, Matt.
All right.
Sounds good.
Good luck.
Watch out for trees.
We've got to hurry.
The storm is about to come.
I want to figure out all that we can about why these trees are falling.
This is the other one that fell, blocking the driveway.
And look how they split.
Every single tree.
And the wind is only getting worse out here, guys.
This storm is rolling, and the first storm in a long time.
Well, let's take a close look at how these are splitting.
This is just solid, thick wood.
It's not even rotten.
This one doesn't even have bugs in it.
I don't understand why they're breaking like this.
And they're huge, huge branches.
We're going to need to bring in heavy machinery to cut this up.
It's completely blocking the road.
This one fell yesterday.
And the one up here, I noticed the other night.
This one right here, we caught on security camera.
And sure enough, this thing, in broad daylight, just toppled over and hit the ground.
So, as soon as I got home, I came running out to see what was going on with this tree.
And this one was kind of weird.
Oh, my goodness, guys.
There is another tree that fell over.
That is crazy.
Look at this.
It just split right down the center where half the tree is still standing.
This is extremely similar to how the other trees around the property are falling.
They split.
They shear right down the middle like this in such a bizarre, strange way.
You can see the wood just completely tore, completely snapped, shredded.
For seemingly no reason, I don't know what is going on.
But maybe if we look into this tree, we can start to figure out what is going on.
Let's take a closer look.
And we can see, ew, look at that.
We got centipedes in here.
And we got slime and ooze.
That is weird.
Look how slimy that's looking.
Wow, there's more centipede things up here.
Those are some creepy crawlers.
Something is seriously going on weird with this tree, guys.
It is split down from the center.
And on the inside is the craziest collection of bug animals I have ever seen in my life.
I don't want to get any closer with my fingers.
But you can see this is super alien, supernatural looking.
The way that it's shiny and moving.
What is that?
There's centipedes in there and stuff, too.
There's a lot of crazy stuff.
I don't want to put my finger in there, but I do want to see more.
Oh my, what is that?
How is this on the inside of the tree?
It's like shiny and fizzing.
Guys, I don't know what this is.
We have the craziest alien looking stuff inside of this tree.
What the heck is that?
This is so bizarre.
And this was deep on the inside of the center of this huge tree.
That just fell for absolutely no reason.
It was a beautiful sunny day.
There wasn't even a wind.
And it just fell over.
Split down the center just like the other ones.
I don't know why.
But this might explain exactly what is going on.
So let's see.
It's been a few days since this one has fallen.
I wonder how it's looking.
Oh, what's that?
It's like a spark plug or something.
I don't know how that could possibly be in the tree.
But if this has anything to do with how rotten and nasty this tree is,
that would mean some kind of human intervention.
Like someone's running around the property somehow poisoning these trees,
causing them to break like this.
Because like I said, these trees are not falling down during storms.
This one is completely covering the driveway.
Remember earlier where the news was coming on,
talking about extreme drought and causing huge stress to plants and trees?
I wonder if that's somehow connected.
We're having strange weather that's causing these trees to just give up.
Split down the center like this.
I mean, literally in this one spot we have this one blocking the driveway.
We have this one right there blocking the driveway.
And lastly, without even moving my feet, you can see that one.
They're all happening within just a few feet of one another.
This is actually insane.
I don't understand.
I don't see any weird stuff in this one.
But there is another tree that's fallen.
So this is tree number 1, 2, 3, 4.
There is a fifth.
That one fell up near my house.
It just toppled over.
I don't know why.
These trees are seriously huge.
This one might have damaged.
This is the well box to the house.
This is where all of our water comes from.
It looks like we might just have lucked out the way that this landed.
But it's possible this has damaged the utility for the house, which is a big problem.
But either way, I've got to figure out how to cut these out and move them
because they're blocking the driveway.
I can't get packages.
They can't even move around the property.
And I promise I am so worried that tomorrow or tonight,
especially with the storm coming in,
that we are going to have more trees toppling over.
And I'm terrified one of them is going to hit my car or, even worse, land on someone.
Oh boy, here it comes, guys.
We got the storm coming.
The rain is starting.
You guys heard it on the news.
We're in a crazy drought.
So this rain that we're getting is going to be a big one.
It's going to be the first rain we've had in months.
I'm worried this is going to be something to do with these trees.
And I need your guys' help.
I'm really worried.
These trees are big, causing damage and mess all over my property, and I don't know why.
But this rain and this storm is going to cause big issues for me.
If you guys know anything about trees or what's going on, what's happening,
please, I'm begging you, comment down below right now.
And if you guys haven't already, please subscribe to my channel so you don't miss the next video.
I'll keep you guys updated the best I can.
But for now, I've got to get out of this storm.
I'm about to get soaked.
See you guys. I've got to go.
