Hi everyone, welcome back and today I'm at my old yard. I'm going to be meeting
Lexi and she has a new pony. I'm so excited to meet him or her. I don't actually know
anything about this pony and we're going to be going on a bit of a hack. I'm going to be
riding Fifi and she's going to be riding her new pony. I am very excited to meet
her new pony. I don't even know the name of it so I can't say anything because it will all be
false because I don't know if it's true or not. I'm going to make a guess on what I think this
pony is going to be. I think it's going to be a dark bay and boy, I'm probably going to be wrong
but I think that might be what it is. I don't know. I think it might be 14 hands but I'm not
actually terribly sure. Oh, he's so cute. Hello. What's his name? Jingles. Jingles. Jingles.
How many hands is he? 14 one. I guessed 14 hands. Jingles. Oh, he's very cute. He's a ginger ninja.
How long have you had him? We got him on Friday.
Thank you. Hi, Jingles. He likes you. Hello. So how old is he? He's six. Is he? Seven in May,
I think. He's quite chill. Yeah, he is but there's a show going on today so it's all different for
Wait, has he met Fifi yet? Yeah, kind of. No. Yeah, let's go let them meet. Fifi doesn't really
like the ready horses. Come on, Jingles.
You want to give Fifi that Harlow? Make her smile. Just put it on her lip.
Oh, yes. Jingles doesn't do it, Harlow. Wait, I know how to teach him. Yeah, you do it.
He doesn't do it. No, you've got to lift your lip up. You've got to. You've got to, dude. He's
silly. You've got to, dude. You've got to. You just do this until he lifts his lip up.
Fifi, it's not for you. Oh, little Fifi, look at how grumpy she is.
You've got to lift your lip. You've got to, I want to see those teeth. You nearly did it then.
Okay, all right, just have a treat. He had a haircut yesterday. Oh, did he? Yeah,
to get his English name done because he wasn't looking the best.
So did you view him on a child day or something like that? Yeah, we viewed him twice to make sure
and then he got vetted on Thursday and then we literally got him the next day.
Did you know he was the one like as soon as you met him? Yeah, because as soon as I jumped him,
literally, we put my coat on the side of it and he was spooking at it, but he still went over the
jump, which is good. Does he kick? No. When I viewed popcorn, I just knew it was going to be
him. He is very cute though. Look what his field mate has bitten him loads at his old yard day.
Really? Oh, those little bites. Yeah, we've got to get, we're getting some cream though,
what you can put on them. Oh, hello Jingles. Do you have any hoof oil?
Well, ours is lost, but yeah, we do. I'll go, I need to ask my mum actually. I'll be back in a
second. Okay. Lexi, what are you doing there for? Are you teething? Are you teething? This is his
party trick. Yummy. He's more interested in that than the hay net. I wonder why they called him
Jingles. Because his last name. So the lady who we got him from said that his name,
where she got him from before was something that I can't remember, but it was very nice.
So she changed it to Jingles. Mum, what is his name? His name was something like Bajanga. Yeah.
Which we weren't going to have. What was it? Bajanga. Bajanga. Bajanga. Bajanga coming from
the field. That's so funny. Bajanga. Get your ears forward. Yeah. See, he doesn't approve of the
name. How many ponies did you view Lexi in total? I think five or four. Yeah. Five. It was five.
We only viewed, well, with Fifi. Oh my God, we viewed so many. Because we didn't actually get
there. Did you not? Bob. Bob. Bob. Imagine. Bob the Cobb his name was. Was he a Cobb? Yeah.
Oh my. So we're basically on the way to go and view him. And then we were like 20 minutes in
and they rang up and said, someone just saw you. Oh. Yeah. Oh, well, that's not very good.
But then we came here. I remember the first day I met you with Aisha, weren't you? You were over
there and you come with me and George to go get Lucky and Fifi from the field. That was the day
that we got let down from Bob. Bob. Bob. Then you come here. Yeah. And then my mum was looking on
horse quest. I was with you and then she found popcorn. Little popcorn. Little popcorn. And
then you got popcorn. Yeah. We went and viewed popcorn the next day. So. Jingles. Jingles.
I'm calling him jingles.
Wait, do you reckon you could vote on to him? I can't even vote on to Fifi. Not alone jingles.
I could barely vote on to him. His mane was all different length. It was like down here,
then up here, then down there. Look at his forelock. Shall I go get Fifi and then we can
go tag the ponies up? Yeah. Let's go. I've got the miniature pony and Lexi's got the big pony.
Look at how funny one I just got. You got a 12.2 and you got a 14.1. Oh, my little pony. Wait,
how big's Bert? 16.1, I think. Small, medium or large? You got a small, you got the medium.
It's in this field. The large. I don't know where he is, but. Oh, look at this. I have a
cake coming through. When did you get Fifi? When did I get her? Yeah. I got her the 16th of May
2020. I'm pretty sure. Did you? Yeah. I remember the exact date. We got popcorn in May 2021.
March 2021. I know it started with an M, but I just wasn't sure.
She's molting like mad. Yeah, she is. You're going to hug Fifi today, aren't you? Yeah.
So what are you going to do with Fifi now you've got a new pony? Well, she's going to go for full
load, but she's still going to stay here so then we can see her every day when we come down here
and maybe even have a little ride on her. Because we don't want to sell her yet.
You're too beautiful. Do you reckon we could consider unloading Fifi? Yeah. Yeah. Yes, we can.
Oh, jingles. Wait, how do you pronounce it? Jingles. Jingles. Like jingle bells,
without the bells in the end. It stinks, Maxie. I know, I need to go and clean it.
Oh, you stink. Did I put the scoop in the yard? Harlow, you have the choice of the blue set or
the Dijon or like, I'm pretty sure it's the Ryuka, but it's not the shiny one. So that's
why I'm wearing the shiny one, but you can wear the non-shiny one if you want. Do you have a
You're kind of all in navy, aren't you? Yeah. Harlow is all in navy. I was going to wear that
cap today, but I may have stolen this one off my mum. You should put Fifi in a fowl.
I don't really want her to. If only popcorn was a stallion.
If they had a fowl, it would be the cutest thing ever. Wait, do you want these boots?
I might wear them, I'm not too sure. I might wear just my mum's black ones for him.
Does Fifi need a whip? Oh yeah, take that for Fifi. Right, Harlow. Look, Harlow, there's a
Shetty head collar, which is still a bit too big for her. I'm just going to go put this outside
there. I'll be back in a minute. Shetty head collar. Where's Lexi gone? To go put her attack
near Jingles. Jingles, how do you say it? Jingles. How do you say it? Jingles? Jingles.
I'm still getting the hang around telling him to say my best friend's name.
Who's this? This is Nairo. Biro? Nairo. Nairo. I'm pretty sure it's Nairo, or is it Nero?
I think it's Nairo. Wait, where do I put my saddle? Just put it up there, it's fine.
Fifi's got a nice simple bridle. Not so much Jingles side of things.
Wow, that's quite complicated. Yeah, I'm just going to attack Fifi. Okay, I'm just going to
go get the half pad. I'm very excited to ride Fifi today. You don't know what she's going to do
sometimes, so I'm excited, but then I'm a bit nervous because she does what she wants when
she wants sometimes. Sometimes she's an absolute angel, sometimes she's a bit of a drama queen
in a sassy pants. Did you like the racing vlog? It was really funny. It was funny, Harlow,
when you kept on going to me, next you didn't fall off. Yeah. And then it was you who fell off.
Okay. I'm not going to take my foot in just in case I fall off in it.
Well, there's never any promises with Fifi.
This is my first ever proper hack on him. Really? Yeah. Aww. So we're going to find out what he's
like today. Yeah. He's got his fast walk on today because his field's over there.
Look at all those daffodils. I know, there's loads. Does he bark? Excited ones. Yeah.
That will all calm down soon though, won't it? Yeah. So do you know why they sold him? Because
the lady who had him before felt like he needs to go out and do some more stuff what she couldn't
do with him. Yeah, he's come to the good home. What are your plans with him? To do show jumping
and probably do some cross country as well. Pardon? To do show jumping and some cross country
as well, probably. Oh, that's good. I think you two will be really good at that. Hopefully.
Popcorn knows how to do flying changes. Yeah. I'm going to teach. I really want to teach him
to do flying changes as well. Good lad. Because he's still a baby. Well, not really still a baby,
but you know, he's still young. Yeah. We'll hopefully still be able to teach him flying
changes and everything. Yeah. I reckon he'll be really good at dressage. He's got the body.
He's got the body for it. In this school, he's really good at flat work. Do you want to go for
a little trot? I don't think he really cares about the tyres. He's been a really good boy.
So yeah, so far, we're not going to jinx it. He's walking slower now because he's going the
opposite way to his field. Do you think Fifi knows you got a new pony? I think she does.
Harlow, it was really funny, though, because I think it was yesterday I said to her, Fifi,
I have another pony. She looked at me and looked away. She looked away and ate her hay and got
really angry at it. It was so funny. I think she's a bit livid with me. Yeah, I would be if
your mum's betrayed you. Oh, Fifi, come here. Cover them, Fifi. Cover. Oh, there are some
horsies coming. Wait, am I allowed to have a little canter? Yeah, you can do the country trips
if you want. Just trot into it. Keep your leg on, though, because this one's not her favourite.
Just do the tiny one and keep your leg on. She does it. It's fine. I did it yesterday on her.
Wait, what one? She does do it. I did it yesterday on her. It's fine. She'll do it. I'm pretty sure.
Leg on. She's got a different jump to popcorn.
Good girlie. Yay. Good boy. Yay. Oh, good job. You're such a good boy, Lexi.
Wait, Lexi, do you want to try and jump these two side by side?
Shall we try? I want to try the big. OK, you try the big first without me doing it,
so you know he can do it. OK. Come on. Do you want to jump the big one or the small one?
I'll do big, yeah? Yeah. Good girl. Oh, she's a good girl. One, two, three. Yay.
How are you finding it, Lex? Good. He's being a really good boy.
I reckon we can have like, obviously, if you're comfortable with it, we can have like a canter
side by side. Yeah, we can. We can go over that M1 as well because it's tiny. Yeah. Maybe just
not the crate. No. He can probably do it, but you need to get him used to being here first.
We already have kind of thrown him in the deep end.
Take him over across country jumps.
Wee, wee, wee, whoa. She's got such a smooth trot. I want to do a dressage test on her.
Yeah, so like, how do I stop? Stop how you normally stop.
I think you're questioning yourself on that question as well. This is where we
kind of do go zoomies. Really? This is where we kind of go quite fast, Harlow.
This is like our little racetrack. Do you try and like race the cars?
Yeah, I do. It was so funny the other day. I was racing a car.
It was so funny. We'll turn around just at the end of this bush.
You ready? Three, two, one. I'm going to go zoomies. Right. Three, two, one. Go, go, go.
My painting didn't point to point.
Steady.
And. Whoa.
Wait, steady, whoa.
Can you stop? I will.
Right, let's go again. Wait, don't go again this way.
Yeah, this way we can. That chestnut mare is so cute. This is Flo, this is my friend.
Go on.
And jingles.
Steady. Steady, whoa.
That was very fast. He's fast. He's very fast.
My pony's going to leave you in that dust. You're going to eat my smoke.
I know, you're going to eat my smoke.
My pony didn't point to point. He's very fast. He's excited now.
Harlow, we were supposed to only do walking tracks today.
I'm not too sure what happened to that.
Yeah, it kind of literally all went out the window within a minute.
We kind of got a bit too speedy.
Not a bit, quite a lot.
I am going to get popcorn and him to race.
We need to take, wait, do you know if he likes the beach?
Yeah, he loves it. He loves water.
Man, he loves the beach.
Yeah, the lady said.
Oh my God, we need to take both of them to the beach.
Because he loves the water, Harlow. He splashes in it.
Does he?
What do you think of jingles, Harlow?
Very cute.
Very, very fast.
Literally, jingles, jangles.
Bob, you left Fifi in the dust.
You're choking on his smoke now, aren't you?
What he left you in.
Oh, yeah.
I'm going to win all the time. You have it.
Definitely him, he didn't point to point.
Oh my God, Lexi, no.
It is going to 100% be popcorn.
No, he didn't point to point. You ain't got a chance.
I'm going to beat you.
We're going to win.
You're going to be left in mass smoke.
You're going to try and run your little socks off, but they'll fall off.
Popcorn will just be in shock of how fast he is.
Popcorn will just be faster.
Wasn't his top speed.
He can go faster.
On the racetrack, that was not his top speed.
OK.
I've got speedy gongolas pony.
Yeah, but popcorn's slow.
He's not slow, he's actually really fast when he wants to be.
Lisa, who do you think, if we have a race, who do you think will win?
He's a ninja.
Of course he's going to win.
I've got a faster pony than popcorn.
My pony.
You don't, Lexi, honestly, you don't have a faster pony than him.
Honestly, yes, I do.
Honestly, you don't, Lex.
Oh, I do.
Oh, you don't.
We're Linda and Hens.
And our ponies are twins.
Except for my pony's faster.
No.
Just forget that whole concept.
We should put a poll up on Instagram.
Who's faster, ginger ninja or speed demons?
Yeah.
Just galloped him.
That went really well.
Did.
I was basically trotting him, walking trot.
Got a bit carried away, didn't we?
Yeah.
Shall I go again?
I think he's going to sleep.
Yeah, he might be.
Right, I've got three.
Let's go and get Bert one as well.
Wait, you've got to smile, you've got to smile, you've got to smile.
I've already done that, I'm not smiling.
Smile.
He smiled.
Oh, Rosie's just come over to Fifi.
When do you think you're going to start doing some shows for Jingles?
Very, very soon, hopefully.
Probably do that the next show jumping.
Yeah.
Message me when the next show jumping is here because I will be doing it on Bob-omb.
So Jingles is back in the field
and we're just going to fill up these hay nets and put them in Fifi's stable.
All ready for when she comes in.
So does Fifi have some soaked feed?
Yeah.
She has fast fibre.
I can't remember how many handfuls I've put in there.
I think that'll be enough in this one.
Put that in.
It's a bit dusty in here now.
Right, and then yeah, fill up the rest of that one.
So how many hay nets does she have?
She has two at night and then one, what they put in there for her in the morning.
Oh yeah.
You know what we should do is we should look after each other's ponies for the day.
Yeah, we should because then I don't have to muck out or do anything.
Just going to do the fun stuff.
My mum will just...
No.
No, you mean you've got to look after him for the whole day
and you'll be feeding him and mucking him out.
You don't do that though.
Yeah, but you'll be looking after him so...
And I'll do it with Fifi.
Yeah, you can have Fifi.
And you'll wear a popcorn.
Should do it where I race Cloudy for the day.
I look after Cloudy.
You definitely got to come and ride Cloudy.
It's actually quite hard to ride a Shetland because
if they just stop in front of a jump you've got nothing in front of you.
No, you don't.
Go over the head, go for a little adventure.
Is this your whole container or do you share it?
I share it.
Only with one person because they've already got two horses so...
And you got three.
Let's take these hay nets.
That's a lot of shavings.
Oh no, she gets so many.
And how much hay do you buy a month?
Just like one of these.
Oh, it's dusty in there.
The hay particles went up my nostrils.
We have to rinse off that one, the one that you're holding.
Just spray it over a little bit.
The pro.
Yeah, I am.
You're going to get wet.
You missed a bit.
You're going to get wet.
I'm fine.
It's a cold day.
It's a cold day, no it's not.
It's cold water and it's a warm day.
Forget which container's yours.
No.
Do you just always remember?
Today was very, very fun.
I was not expecting it to be a road.
I thought it was going to be a bay.
Yeah, you said a dark bay, didn't you?
Yeah.
You got the gelding part right though.
That's the only part I got right.
You didn't get the height right either.
I was close with 14 hands.
Yeah, but he's 14-1.
Yeah, still wrong.
Yeah, but it was very fun.
I think they absolutely loved it.
Yeah, they did.
Was that your first ever gallop on him?
That's my first ever hack on him.
Was it?
We kind of pushed the boundaries a bit.
Yeah, we did.
You going over the cross-country jumps as well?
Yeah.
We're supposed to only be wall control and that's it.
That was the fastest I've ever been on Fifi.
And that's the first time that you've actually ever got on Fifi
without me being on there first.
Yeah.
She's a good gal.
Yeah.
No bugs.
No roos.
No.
She's a good gal today.
Really good gal.
I've had a lovely day, Lexi.
Thank you so much for having me.
Okay.
Thank you for watching today's vlog and I'll see you in the next one.
Bye.
