WE BOUGHT A NEW PONY!!!!

Guys, I cannot even do an intro today. We are on our way to pick up a brand new pony. It's too exciting. It is too exciting. I was like bouncing off the walls, brushing my teeth this morning, wasn't I? Yeah, she was. I was like running around the house. We've got a long day. You cannot be doing this all day. She was screaming. It was like Christmas morning. It was. We've got 45 minutes left. Yeah, of what has been a five hour drive. We stopped for Starbucks on the way here, didn't we? Yeah, got a little Starbucks. And a bit of KFC. And then because mum's also got a bigger sweet tooth than me. I need some things to keep me awake. She lets us get sweets on long journeys. I am just so excited to meet this new little pony and I cannot wait for you guys to see him. He is so, so cute. He is very, very, very cute. So beautiful. Oh, he's amazing, isn't he? He's amazing. Yeah, so should we talk about how this came about? So I feel like one of those, you know you get those mums and they feel like they know that they're not ready. They've not finished their family. They just want one more kid. Like I feel like that with the ponies. I always felt like we wasn't finished with two. I really, really wanted to get another one. I just felt like we weren't complete. But the only thing now with three is it's an odd number. Oh God, no. No, you can't do that. We probably will end up getting another one because... All of these ponies are meant to be a mother-daughter share. No, they're not. The first one. Popcorn was, but he's definitely not a mother-daughter share. And then when we were getting a second one, we were meant to be getting... I could ride him if I wanted to. I just felt like... When we were getting the second one, hence Cloudy, he was meant to be a 14.2. That was, yeah, he was meant to be a 14.2. We started looking and then I found it so, so difficult to find a 14.2 pony that ticked all the boxes. And then I was just like, do you know what? I think actually we're going to get Shetland because I think it would be really cool to do racing. We've spoke about it quite a bit, haven't we? And I was like, do you know what? Let's make this dream come true. Let's make it happen. It's now or never. She was on a height limit and an age limit. So yeah, I thought if we don't do it now, then we're not going to, you know, in three years time, it's going to be too late. So that's how we ended up with Cloudy. Then I was like, right, let's not get a 14.2. Are we allowed to say the height of this one? Yeah, let's say the height of this one. He's like 11.2. I actually don't know how big he is. Did you do it on the Google? I know what centimetres he was. But this pony's bigger than Cloudy. So we're getting a bit bigger. Bigger than Cloudy. Smaller than popcorn still. We've got popcorn. We should have been like going up in heights, but instead we've been going down. I know. We went down, then we're kind of going up. Then we're probably going to go down and down and down. And then we're probably going to go up. The reason why we aren't getting a 14.2 this time is again... They're very hard to find. They are very, very hard to find. And also, so you've been doing a bit of showing this year and been really enjoying it. And as you all know, Harlow loves her dressage. I love any glossy and shiny disciplines. Yeah, so Harlow's had a little taste of the showing and stuff. And she would really like to give it a go. And also something a little bit bigger for Harlan to be able to ride on as well and do like proper lead rain classes with. I thought, let's get something a little bit bigger than Cloudy. And yeah, we was advised by the people that did all that, like produced Cloudy and helped us out with him. She was like, oh, you need to get a Dartmoor. And I always love Welshies. We always loved them, haven't we? We've always wanted them. A little Welshie. They're so, so, so cute. They look like little Arabians, but apparently they're cray-cray. Yeah. She was like, no, don't get a Welshie. You need to get a Dartmoor. And I was like, I've never really looked at Dartmoors before. And then I started looking at them and I was like, ooh la la, we love them. So yeah, so then I said, well, do you know of any for sale? And then she said, I do actually, I do know one. So then I got in touch with the lady selling the pony and I was like, absolutely, we want this one. I really, really trust the lady that let me know that the pony was for sale. So I really trust her opinion. So I was like, no, if she thinks this is the one, like we'll just go and get him. And then we had it booked in for like six days. So I said on like the Monday, oh my God, someone's just guessed that we're getting a new pony. I just put the thing up on Insta saying, oh, got really exciting today, day to day. Let me see. So they had it all booked in. So I booked it in on like the Monday. I said, look, we'll come on Saturday. And then when Saturday came, we set off on our drive. We got about half an hour into our drive, didn't we? And it was about a three hour drive, that one. We were still in the New Forest though, because the New Forest is humongous. Yeah, it takes about half an hour to get out of the New Forest. So yeah, and then I messaged her before we left. And I said, look, just to let you know we're about to leave. And then she was like, oh, I'm so sorry. I've just sold the pony. This is exactly what happened with Popcorn when we was trying to buy our first pony. Imagine if this happens, if we do ever get another one. What, three times we've been told, like we're on the way, actually on the way, because it was on the way last time. Twice now, it's actually happened twice now. Like that is really unlucky. And then you actually cried then, didn't you? So this was recently. This was like two weeks ago. We got let down on the other pony. And then mum was like, pony, pony, pony, pony. Like on Facebook, just like. Yeah, because then I was like, I really, really want one now. Because you know when it's been taken, swiped off of you and someone else has been able to get this pony. I was just like, no, I want one even more. So then I've been looking everywhere. I've been refreshing HorseQuest like three times a day. More than that, I saw you at least seven times a day. Yeah, these Dartmoors are absolute gold dust. Like really, really nice ones are gold dust, so. And they're quite hard to find as well. So hard to find. We got told about another one that wasn't on the market. And I was like, okay. But when we was looking at the pictures, we didn't like instantly fall in love, did we? Even though it was beautiful, it was amazing. But it wasn't really, we actually had our hearts set on the one that we got let down on. And then the other one was a black one and. Oh, I'm not wearing my buying pony top. Huh? I'm not wearing my buying pony top. What's the buying the pony top? Look, this one. Did you wear the same top you wore the last one? Yeah. All the ponies. All of the ponies. I'm not wearing it, I forgot to. Well, I didn't even know it was a thing. You know the beige one? Oh, did you feel cloudy wearing that? Yes. No, you didn't. I did. You probably don't even fit in it anymore. I know, it's mainly the mirror. It's like seven to eight. I'm 11 to 12. So then you had the black one. We wasn't like obsessed with it, even though it was amazing. And we, you know, we was told like, you know, it's gonna do it amazing. We just had our hearts set on a bay one, didn't we? So then I was just like, okay, we'll just see what else comes up. So I'm on like Facebook every day seeing what comes up. And then I get tagged in one. So a couple of people knew that we were looking. Someone tagged me in one and then she WhatsApp me just to make sure I definitely seen it. And I was like, oh my God, it's the one, it's the one. So I was like, message the woman straight away. I was like, excuse me. It was quite similar to the other one as well, wasn't it? So similar. And the crazy thing is they're actually related. I don't know. Wait, you didn't tell me that. Yeah, they got, they got the same prefix, you know, like the show name, the big, you know, like a cloudy shelf off. So this one's the same as the other one. Yeah. So yeah, so this one was so similar to the one that we was gonna be looking at a couple of weeks ago that we thought we was gonna be buying. And I was like, oh my God, this one's actually more perfect though. This one is. It's like meant to be. This is meant to be. And it's like, we got let down on the other one before popcorn. And then we ended up with popcorn. So that was, you know, the other pony wasn't meant to be. So when you get let down on these things, you've really got to just, I didn't, I didn't get upset about the other one, even though I couldn't stop thinking about it. I was thinking, oh, there's not gonna be another one. There's not gonna be another one. There is, there is always another one. And we've got the closest thing to the other one. We have. We really have. They're related. I know. I can't believe that this pony came up. So I thought, I am doing absolutely everything not to let this pony go. So I messaged the woman straight away on Facebook. And I said, look, how much is the pony? And where are you to? And then she said, and then I immediately rang her. And I just said, look, I really just, I just want to buy the pony. I said, can you, can I put a deposit down? I said, I know that we really want him. Mum did everything. Yeah, because this is the problem that happened last time. We didn't like. We didn't tell them how interested we were. How interested we were. We were just like, oh yeah, but coming on Saturday. And then nothing else. We'll be there at 11. And then she didn't know. They didn't know. Like, we were so super keen and we really, really wanted one and how much we love the pony. So I thought, I'm not letting, I'm not chancing it this time. So I just said, look, can I just pay a deposit? I paid a 10% deposit. I got some videos and I said, look, we'll come tomorrow. And then she was like, oh, no, no, can't do. So I said, oh, what about Sunday? It was like a few days later. So yeah. I think it is like Friday at the time, wasn't it? So we've actually bought this pony unseen, but to be fair, all the ponies we've bought are the only ponies we viewed. Yeah. Popcorn was the only one we viewed. Cloudy was the only one we viewed. And then so will this one be. And that's why we've come in the horse box because I know we're taking him home today. It's just all meant to be. And guys, if you do get led down on a pony, it is just meant to be. You've got to think that an even more perfect one is out there because this has happened to us twice. And we've ended up with some ponies. I just wanted to make sure that no one else was going to get in there and view the pony and swipe it off of us, because you've got to be so quick if you're looking for a pony. You've just got to be like, you can't be like, oh, I'm not free for a couple of weeks. Someone else is going to get in there quicker. You have to be like, the last thing I could be doing today is driving 10 hours to go and get a pony. But it's just one of those things you have to just get on with because you just missed the boat. So, yeah, we have- Oh my God, we're half an hour away. We're half an hour away. 29 minutes. So guys, we'll let you know when we get there so you guys can meet this little cutie boy. And it's actually going to, sorry, my voice cracked. It's been doing this all week. No, it has though, hasn't it? I was singing in choir at school the other day and he was like, oh, hi. And then my friend looked at me like, geez. You're not really a singer, are you? I am not a singer. Right, yeah, we'll see you guys when we get there. Oh my goodness, 28 minutes. Hello. He's so cute. It looks lovely and like a little bear. I know. He's going to get used to the fluff. Yeah you're going to have to get used to a lot of fluff. Everything is fluffy really.
