Marien Puerto Plata 2026 | Food, Beach and Resort

Porta Plata has plenty of resorts to choose from and today I'm going to check out Marien for you guys to see what to expect before you get here. And it all starts right here at the resort's main entrance. Thank you so much. You're so special. Just arrived at the Marien Porta Plata. Thank you so much. You gotta take a picture of this. Oh my gosh. I know. Oh my gosh. Welcome drink. Let me try it and see how it is. Refreshing. What flavor is this? It is passion fruit. Passion fruit. It's good. The main lobby is pretty straightforward and simple with the reception desk right as you walk in. Hello. Nice dress. Nice little gift shop right here. I'm gonna go check out this resort and show you guys how it is before you get here. I know you guys are like me. You wanna see what a resort is like before you even pay your hard earned cash to book it. If you wanna book a vacation and save a lot of money, I'd recommend using Sunwing Vacations. They have the best deal. So make sure you check out Sunwing Vacations. If you wanna travel and see different places and nice resorts like this, you gotta use Sunwing Vacations. They're amazing. As you walk around, you will see the rooms are spread across different buildings and there's also a tennis court. Next up is the main pool and it's a pretty good size. There are plenty of lounges around the pool, a bar right beside it, and overall, there's a lot of space to just hang out and relax. Let's take a look at one of the upgraded rooms. This is the one bedroom ocean view suite, so you're getting quite a bit more space. Starting with the bathroom, you've got two sinks, plenty of counter space, and a pretty simple shower setup. The suit also has its own balcony and from here, you could see the ocean. Inside, you've got a king size bed, TV, and a separate living area, which really makes the room feel a lot more spacious. There's also a mini bar, a coffee maker, so overall, you're getting quite a bit more than you would with the regular rooms. For families, there's also a supervised kids club with activities for children. The beach area here is actually huge, with plenty of space along the sand and lots of natural shade from the trees. This is the beach at the Marian Porta Plata. Just for you guys to see what it's like before you get here, there's a lot of beach chairs on this resort. There's a lot of space. I'm here with Mariana. I want to ask you a question, what's the main reason why people should visit this resort? Because this is a freedom resort. We are on the line of the beach and the resort is open and free for you to go to everywhere. How is the food here? The food is great. You have a lot of different options and you can meet the world inside our hotel. Italian, Dominican, Mexican, Brazilian, Mediterranean, so you have a lot of options. Alright, I can't wait to try the food. You will. And right beside the beach, you've got this spot where you can grab a drink, some snacks, or even stop for lunch without going too far. This is the bar right here and then there's a snack section right here. There's onion rings, fried chicken, then you have poutine, beans, rice. This is the resort's main buffet where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. Now let's check out the main buffet. There's a pretty good selection here with different meats, rice, pasta, vegetables, salads, fruits, and desserts. Now when it comes down to the food, I've heard some mixed opinions. Some people really enjoy it and say there's plenty to choose from, while others say it can get a little bit repetitive. But looking at the selection here, there's definitely a good amount to choose from. Gonna try the food now. The rice is good. It's actually tasty. Is it rice? I think it's just rice. It's just white rice. It didn't specify, so I think it's just the white rice. Here trying the food. It's actually really good. How is it? Yeah. Nice. It's super sour. So far, it's good. Right? Is the salad good? It's super sour. Yeah. I like the fish. Good? Did you get any other fish? No, it's taken. The fish is nice. I'm just not really sure. It's good? It's good. Here trying the food.
