If you're interested in learning about some of the priciest vessels on the planet, keep watching.
$400 million in Dubai is number 5 on this list.
The Bolcaya of Brunei originally commissioned this yacht from the company
Lohman Voss and Larson in 1995.
But construction wasn't completed until 2001.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai at the time,
oversaw the completion of the project.
Measuring 530 feet long and 72 wide, the vessel was the largest in its class from 2006 to 2009.
The Eclipse and the Azam dethroned, it is the most prominent buoy on the seven seas.
Even so, it is one of 115 guests and 88 crew members throughout its 8 decks of opulent ships
available, with ample room to spare.
In addition to the magnificent dining room that can seat up to 90 guests, water bicycles,
and disco, it has some of the best facilities available anywhere on its decks like a 10-meter
long swimming pool, squash court, a movie theater, and even a lobster tank.
In addition to the two long motorboats and helipads,
the ship is also equipped with four MTU-20V diesel engines.
These engines allow for a maximum speed of 26 knots and a range of up to 8,500 nautical
miles in a single voyage.
The A-plus yacht costs $527 million and is ranked fourth on our list.
Most of those who purchase superyachts are Emiratis,
a trend that has been occurring for quite some time now.
The A-plus is the most expensive yacht in the world.
Owned by Mansur bin Zayed Al Nahyan, an individual with a net worth of $22 billion.
In addition to owning this luxurious vessel, Al Nahyan also owns Manchester City,
England's most successful soccer team.
He is also a member of the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi.
He serves as Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
Despite being 482 feet long and having a beam of 70 feet,
the A-plus can transport its colossal weight across the ocean at a service speed of 22.9 knots
and a maximum speed of over 25 knots.
The A-plus has a 70-foot operating range.
The vehicle has a pair of 7,990 horsepower engines that enable it to accelerate rapidly.
Although it was not introduced to the public until 2012,
the yacht formerly known as A-plus is currently the world's 8th biggest.
In addition to two helipads and features such as a gym,
theater, conference room, garage for tenders, and underwater illumination,
it also has eight decks with amenities like a swimming pool and diving board.
Apart from the spacious and opulent living quarters,
the crew and staff also provide gourmet cuisine and
attentive service to Sheikh Mansour and other visitors.
A ZAM with a value of $600 million comes in at number 3.
This magnificent private yacht is owned by Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Nahyan.
The daughter of Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan and is called Al Maruk.
Have you heard this before?
Well, Sheikh Khalifa is the half-brother of Sheikh Mansour,
the current ruler of the United Arab Emirates and the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority,
which oversees almost $900 billion in assets.
In light of this plenty and prestige,
the fact that they own the world's biggest private superyacht for $605 million
and maintain it at a yearly cost of $60 million would seem like chump change.
Larsen Yachts, a German company, constructed and launched the boat in 2013.
It is enormous 590 feet long, 95 feet high at the salon, and 59 feet wide.
The two gas turbines and diesel engines provide up to 47,000 horsepower.
Therefore, the monster can reach its peak speed of 32 knots despite its large size.
There are 60 crew members on board who are having a great time and 35 passengers speeding
over the open seas. The breathtaking sailing yacht has a capacity of over 500 people.
It features several opulent amenities suitable for a king or queen.
Christoph Leon, a Neda Yachts employee, planned the layout of the interior.
Despite its massive length of almost 600 feet, this vessel was built in just three years by
Larsen and Leon, who were credited with inventing the first twin-hulled yacht.
Nonetheless, our second-place boat is 57 feet shorter than this one.
So, how are we all doing so far? Hopefully, you're enjoying the content and a glimpse of

Eclipse is next on our list, valued at $1.5 billion.
Bloom and Voss Steel are both owned by Larsen, the world's most successful shipbuilding company.
Bloom and Voss was best known for building the Bismarck warship which the firm created.
In 2010, they began planning the Eclipse, six years before Larsen bought the 533-foot plot.
It was until Azam debuted in 2013 that it became the longest yacht,
though it is now only the fourth-biggest superyacht.
The Eclipse is propelled by two enormous diesel engines that produce over 40,000 horsepower and
move her at 22 knots, blending a missile detection system with a submarine that can go underwater up
to 50 meters. Bloom and Voss created a vessel loyal to its military roots, while avoiding the
It's true that before sailing, the ship is outfitted with anti-paparazzi equipment to
render digital cameras useless. A laser shield senses the presence of a digital camera using
infrared light. It then shines an intense beam into the lens to destroy any photographs taken
with it. It's similar to being slapped in the face by the police. At the same time,
they flash a torch in your eyes, but with significantly more money and technology investing.
The Eclipse boasts two helipads, a nightclub, two large swimming pools, and numerous hot tubs.
The boat is owned by Russian-Israeli business magnate Roman Abramovich, who has a billion
dollars in assets. He holds the English soccer club Chelsea FC, the current European champions.
Once they've fought on the seven oceans against one another, they compete at home in the English
Premier League and other European competitions. They devote a lot of time and resources to their
clubs. The fee is so expensive that the authorities have no other choice than to punish Mr. Abramovich
with it. Still, he can easily afford the cost since he has $18 billion in the bank.
Even though his Eclipse Superboat is now worth $1.5 billion.
Finally, at $4.8 billion, History Supreme is the most expensive thing on our list.
The pride of our list is the sloop which has the distinction of being the tiniest.
Despite its sluggishness and lack of features, it's plated with gold, platinum, and other
expensive materials, making it the only one on our list. As a result, it has been sold for an
eye-watering $4.8 billion, making it the most expensive boat ever sold. According to reports,
the boat was designed by high-end yacht builder Stuart Hughes in 2011 and cost $7 million.
Even though Hughes didn't name Malaysian business mogul Robert Kwok as the project's owner during
the introduction, he did seem to imply it that way. He's just one of three Malaysians with more
than $5 billion net worth, given that Kwok's net worth is just over $10 billion. While the other
two billionaires' total net worth is under $5 billion, he is the prime suspect. The main suite
of the boat is magnificent and has a meteoric stone wall, among other luxuries amenities.
The wall sculpture was made using the bones of real T-Rex dinosaurs found in Arizona.
Its worth has been estimated at $89,000. It wasn't surprising to see Guardian of the
Sands cover artist Stuart Hughes move about like this. As a result of his fondness for
gliding iPhones and bottles with gold, diamonds, and other precious gems, each ship is considerably
costly. It's difficult to imagine someone so vain ever having an impact for the better in the world.
Lurssen CEO Peter Lurssen claims that with the construction of Azzam,
more than 4,000 families benefited from increased employment opportunities.
This does not consider the new employment opportunities created by the upkeep of these boats.
The yacht's owner is unknown, but it is rumored to be Saudi Arabian businessman Al-Walid bin Talal.
He is one of the wealthiest men in the world, with a net worth of $21.4 billion.
The Eclipse has a crew of 92 and can accommodate 18 guests. When comparing the most expensive yacht
to other boats, it's crucial to consider several variables. A variety of factors determines the
cost of a vessel. The price of a yacht is not always related to its age or size. In certain
situations, they may be the oldest or smallest. It all depends on what the buyer wants.
That's all for today! What would you have in your expensive yachts if you could have one?
