life unfiltered ¦ decluttering my ENTIRE makeup, skincare and jewelry collection

Hello and welcome back to the situation. So I was going to clean up behind me, but I think if you've been watching the decluttering vlogs and you already know the true state of my home, so we won't be doing that, okay? It is officially T-minus one week till we move. Do we have a lease signed? No. Do we have an address? No. Are we going to figure it out? I hope so. But what is happening for sure is that our stuff is going into the moving truck. And then I do think we have a couple of days to dilly-dally, but today, big things on the agenda today because it's Sunday. today we are going to clean up and organize all of my jewelry clean the deep dark depths of the storage room that we have not touched in five years and if we do get past that i do want to clean my skincare and my makeup which i do think will be a lot of fun but why don't we start with a simple task first okay we're gonna organize my jewelry now because i've had a couple of jewelry collections i do have these organization containers and they are sorted by color so rose gold gold silver as well as by item so we're gonna go through and put this all in these containers so we can get everything organized. If you're doing the same, I actually got this container for literally less than a dollar in Japan from a store called Seria, which is their dollar store. Now, unfortunately, I did not have the foresight to know that I was gonna need a couple more. So I did have to buy these off of Amazon. I will link them for you guys. I think it's about five or $6. It pains me because it could have been so much cheaper. Oh my gosh, literally chef's kiss. The fact that they stack, yes. I'll link it down below, but this is what you're gonna wanna search up. Let's get organizing. We're going to organize them by category. I have some moissanite sakuras, put them there. I have one moissanite sakura in gold here. I have silver here, cute sakura blossoms, and then a cute little bow, a sakura here, gold sakura, gold bows, rose gold bow, rose gold sakura. We have the OG matcha necklace. The new one is reversible, but the old one isn't. So these are my jewelry collections that I designed with Mondays Made and they're really special to me. The reason I have one of each piece is so that I can show each of the items in the collection. I literally designed each of these so they are made to perfection for exactly what I want in my own collection. And then we have the ring, ring, ring, ring, and sorting through some extras here. Took the silver line to travel with me so I'm gonna put them back where they belong. Okay, so low-key, this is freaking me out just a tiny bit because if I had organized everything earlier, I would have realized I am missing quite a few of these pieces. I think they do exist somewhere in my home, but I just don't know where they are, which is not great. One of the things I've had to learn the hard way is just everything in your house should technically have a home. It should have a place to live, right? With how chaotic and messy my life is, things are not like that, and it is not a good thing. Just while we're here, I'll show you some fun stuff. These are fun little earrings that we sampled. but never ended up going into production. Now I'm gonna reserve two of those boxes for my actual collections. And then this last one is gonna be just miscellaneous jewelry. Look how organized everything is. I have never had my jewelry look like this. I'm obsessed. A lot of this is costume jewelry. See if there's anything we wanna keep. I'm going to say goodbye to these cute little bracelets cause I just don't really wear them. And then this is one of those really cute, cool charm necklaces. I don't know. an occasion i could wear this these look like they've been like severely rusted we're gonna throw those away rose gold and gold ones look okay so we will keep those have a series of silver tennis bracelets and tennis necklaces why does it look like that what the heck is going on here's all the tennis bracelets we will keep those guys we have this rose gold necklace that is a bow it's always nice to have some stacking pieces we will keep her i will keep this this is from Cezanne, super cute. My little Hermes bracelet. I think these are mostly keeps and it's because jewelry, I'm usually pretty picky even when I buy it. Sadly, we're not saying goodbye to that many things. I'm gonna put the bigger pieces in this pouch to keep them safe. So this is all of the kind of silver items as well as the bigger hoops. I think that's as much as she's gonna fit. Ooh, that's a lot. That's pretty stacked. Oh my gosh, I knew there was gonna be more jewelry. So Kevin got me this really cute, yeah, Studio Ghibli themed music box. I have some of the pieces in here. Okay, we have this like super cool ring that I got. It is a little bit costume jewelry, but it is really cool. I don't know if I should keep that. At the time, I was kind of a broke college student, but I really loved her so much that I ordered so many pieces from her jewelry collection. I actually have the safety pin earrings that I got from her as well. My ex-boyfriend got me this ring. You think I should keep it? Would you like to try it on? This is like from Claire's. Babe, this is Tiffany. What? This is so ugly. Yeah, Tiffany honestly tarnishes all the time. Oh. Or my wife. It was the first gift you ever got me. Little sir. Little sir would definitely enjoy cleaning the jewelry collection. I think I'm gonna say goodbye to these. I'm gonna put them in the donation pile, see if anybody wants them. Ooh, here's my Taylor Swift friendship bracelet. Similarly, we are saying goodbye to a lot of the kind of gold and silver costume jewelry. Honestly, I just don't ever reach for it. Some cute little earrings from, I believe like Squishmallows or something, but similarly not using those. Cute martini glasses that have never been worn. I don't even know if this ring fits me. Let's see. This one actually does fit me. I feel like it's pretty cute. Let me know if I should keep it or not. So I think these can go. Little sir. Thank you, little sir. I think these ones can go as well. It feels just really good to get rid of stuff. I can't describe the feeling. The idea of opening this collection and knowing that everything in it is gonna be stuff that I want to use all the time. Can't even imagine what that feels like. All right, here's everything that we organized. It is looking honestly very clean, very spiffy, very fancy. And here's all the stuff that we are going to donate slash throw away. I'm gonna take a little break. I just made myself a cup of green tea that I bought when I was in Uji, Japan it was less than five dollars for an entire bag and I swear this is probably the best green tea I've ever had I deeply regret not getting more and let me show you my cute little OOTD because I am obsessed with these pants they are actually from a brand called Cut from the Cloth and if you are looking for denim that is not only comfortable good for every day but also good quality and will last you a long time I highly recommend these so these pants are the Avery High Rise Straight Leg Exclusive and what I love about them is that it hugs my tummy in the right place but also hugs my butt in the right place and it is really hard to find a pair of jeans that do that. When I did my big closet clean out I realized that I had so many pieces that were in blue denim but I didn't really have anything for the fall which is why I picked out these really cool animal print. Is this a cheetah or leopard babe? I don't know what it is. I think leopard. Cheetah is the stripes no? Cheetah? You mean zebra? Comment down below if you think this is cheetah or leopard. As know animal print is very stylish right now I love a straight leg cut because I feel like it's always in style flare jeans skinny jeans they come in and out but straight leg is always going to be a timeless classic I really do like how the fabric feels I don't like when denim is too stiff when denim is too stiff I just will never choose to wear them because it's so uncomfortable and when it's too stretchy like a jegging then it starts to look a little bit low quality this is the perfect medium but this color makes me so excited for the fall I will leave a QR code on the screen if you want to learn more and also link in the description box all right welcome this is the first section of our house that we are going to make my husband do with me this is husband what would you like us to address you as okay this is my cleaner so um don't be alarmed okay this closet has not been really cleaned out in the last five years it's scary it hasn't been actually cleaned okay let's go here's what we're working with so this actually extends underneath the stairs and goes around the other way as well so you're seeing a fraction of the problem okay we've got stuff everywhere it should be up here but it's down here we have suitcases in here we've got moving boxes can you see the back there there's a lot going on we're gonna clear this out and uh see what we can get rid of and what we need to keep do you keep the UCLA umbrella what do we think sure is it rain does it work UCLA do you want to start by removing everything yes okay i think we're gonna move the the moving boxes upstairs. Some paper towels. Someone very kindly gifted us a bocce ball set, but you know what? We are still not gonna have a backyard big enough to play bocce ball. And this thing is like 30 pounds. So goodbye bocce balls. We have the cat stroller. I think that needs to go. Which Kevin is extremely on getting rid of. It's large and neither of the cats are willing to use it. Donate. I found the notebook organic chemistry what if i need to reference these that's very funny babe i just have one box full of textbooks and then this is mickey's stuff she just put it in a wee box and milk and eggs box good morning it is a new day and today we are tackling the giant beast of skincare makeup and hair care this might be one of the uh least organized sections of my home so let us see what the heck we're working with let's just start from the bottom drawer we're gonna go through and decide pack donate versus toss so in this bottom drawer we have kind of just like miscellaneous extra supplies essentially we have three tier tier cushion foundations 23 21 and wow we have two 21s i don't even think these are the right shade for me to be honest with you we have the one size setting spray there's quite a bit left in there Shu Uemura eyelash curler this always hurts my eyes for some reason i'm gonna give it one last shot before i toss it though because she's a little pricey a toss for me we have Real Barrier aqua sun stick um don't think i'm gonna use that this is there's nothing in here we're done here this one is the one that's made in korea so i'm gonna keep this one okay we're doing very good wisps definitely need to keep that my plan is that later this week we're gonna text all of our friends free reign they can come and grab anything and everything that they want and also come to say goodbye to us little sir excuse me look here there's a really cute little rare beauty pouch donate here we have my contacts or at least part of them these ones like look a little crazy honestly i'm gonna throw the crazy looking ones where like the lenses are just really big 2022 that is old old old i'm gonna dump all the contacts in here. Nice and organized. Next up, we have some palettes and a brush case. Very cute. Don't think I'm going to use it. Donate. Ooh, we have these really cool Mediheal masks. Unfortunately, I think we just have too much going on. Donate. Same thing here. We have more Mediheal masks. I literally love those, but if I don't use them in the next couple of days, they probably will never be used. Eyeshadow palettes. Ooh, this is a brand new Hoola caramel bronzer. It's honestly a little bit too caramel for my color i don't think i'm gonna use it donate lashes i think i will keep those this i believe is a mattifying dry shampoo powder i don't have an oily scalp so donate armani i don't think i've ever used this honestly i should try using this keep so i think i told you guys that we were gonna move next week we're actually moving in three days i'm not stressed can you tell this is a ysl bronzer very pretty i've never used it but i will keep her see if these daisy colors are pigmented. Ooh, they're pretty pigmented. I don't know why I've never used these. I will keep both of these palettes. Very pretty. And then we have this Sunset Stripped palette from Too Faced. I guess I'll keep that too. This one is very cute, but I don't think I would ever really use these colors. I believe brand new. Nothing has been swatched. Put it in the donate. And then we have the Tartlette palette. Also don't think I would probably use these. Donate. We have the Luminous powder blush in cheer and enjoy it's very cute i will keep both of these and then we have star face pimple patches i don't really love the yellow color so i never reach for these, donate. this is a dry shampoo, donate. these are pretty much all hairsprays but i guess they're all small enough to bring on travel so i will keep them. contact solution, it's definitely expired so we're going to throw it away. oh my gosh i have more, we have a Natasha Denona foundation, which powder foundations just don't look good on me, donate and we have this Daisy palette, so beautiful but i already have enough, donate. makeup mix this fixer i have enough, donate. finally we have a super crazy amount of makeup brushes that we need to sort through and see if we need these or don't need these, some of these i just have too many duplicates of these, i'm gonna let go of this brush set, this one is clearly broken so toss that. Merit Beauty, supposed to be really good, i have never reached for it. Donate. Way too big. Don't think I'll use it. Way too small. Not gonna use it. Brow, eyeliner, and lip. this is very cute. maybe i will keep that one. the Ilia Beauty ones actually feel very nice. May keep some of those. And these ones from Rare Beauty. Brushes here. These two are useful. This one was supposed to be a base brush. i've never really tried it, i don't think. these are those really thin brushes to apply. I don't think these ever look good. I'm gonna donate or trash it, i'm gonna say goodbye to this bunch honestly when you have less stuff it's easier to kind of screen through what you want and don't want, this is one of those scoopers for lotion probably not going to use that, donate and i'm going to keep these guys and we have a little travel set of brushes that goes right here. all right, brush is done for drawer number two. this is actually one of the more organized drawers that I have, it's definitely been a while since I've gone through each of these items to see if they are necessary to keep right here, yes, little closer, let's go through lip liners for me I know that I look terrible with brown lip liner on my lips and I know that it's trendy I know that people love brown lip liner and so I always think that I am going to reach for these one day and it just never happens I have low visual weight so when contrast is too much it doesn't look good on me, we are finally going to donate all those ones that we've kept but we'll never use, these are donate this is the Rare Beauty brow gel everyone says it's so awesome. I feel like it's okay, but I'm going to keep this one and we're going to donate this one. This is the Anastasia brow pencil. I think it's so old that she's kind of running out of ink. We're going to trash her. Brow pomade from Too Faced. This one still works. We will keep her. This one also still works. We will keep her. Too Faced has some good products, y'all. This one is a extremely light brown color. We'll probably never use her. Donate. Too dark of a color. Donate. Milky brown. That's actually not too far off. I will keep her. So from Too Faced we have the Lady Bold. We have it in a couple different colors. This one is a red I believe. Oh that is really really red. I will keep one. This is a pinky color. It might be a little bit too pink. I think it's okay. It's kind of like a tequila sunset color. Don't think it's for me. Donate. These are eyeliners. let's do that next, this is a little bit of a corally color and then pinky color I'm going to keep the coral one and throw away the other one from Kosi we have hot liners, your lip liners in two different colors, this one is actually empty so we're gonna throw that one away and this one more nude brown but it does have a subtle sheen of pink so I think I will keep this one. Eyeliners, I will absolutely keep, so keeping those. Here is our summary. Keep, donate, and trash. Next section, we have mostly eye products. These two mascaras are the Heroine Make. I haven't really been reaching for them ever since I got my Clio, and this YSL one, I think it's okay, but I just, I don't ever like to use any mascara other than the one that works best, so I am going to toss these because I've used these and donate this one. I have too many of these, so donate. Tattoo liner, I haven't used her in a while. It's actually not bad. I will keep her. This one is very precise. The Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Liquid Liner. We will keep her. The Jumbo NYX Pencils. I love. I will keep. Colorgram. This is an Under Eye Allure Sparkle. Kind of has this weird orange color. Trash. Rare Beauty Shadow. Pretty color. Don't know that I would ever really reach for it. There's a possibility. This one doesn't seem quite as precise so we're gonna throw this one away. I really like this liner but for some reason sometimes it doesn't stay on i'm gonna give it one more shot a brow freeze that is probably very expired trash nars it looks so similar to the rare beauty one i'm gonna donate this one and then one more from rare beauty also very pretty keep that one this one's a little too dark we're gonna donate eyeliner oh a nice brown eyeliner here's what we ended up with in the eye section all the different things i've swatched being a very helpful assistant all right next up let's do all of the lippies well in all i feel like it could be worse not that crazy of a collection the true proper way to do this would actually be to swatch all these but my lips would probably fall off one of the things that i think i am not good at is that i will always keep things that other people think are really amazing simply because other people think it's great when i really think about if it's good for me it generally isn't i already have all three of these in my active rotation um i think i'm going to yeah it does look like i've used these so i'm gonna throw these away and i will keep this one the rare beauty ones they're just a little bit too glittery for my preference these are new i think i swatch them but they are still new so donate my Dior Lip Glow i do love this one with keeper okay the Rare Beauty these were so deceiving because the packaging looks so dark one of the brown ones is one of my favorites these are extremely sheer and apply really beautifully on the lips i almost toss them away and then when i try them i realize how much i like them this i think is a little too purple donate this one is okay so we'll keep these two Huda Beauty cosmetics i kept this because i kept thinking i would do a matte lip and a matte lip looks terrible on me tart way too bright and then YSL these are so cute but they are so heavy color looks okay this one is tolerable i think i've already pre-screened these to remove the ones that i wouldn't normally use this one's a little bit too pink we're gonna throw her away this one clearly i've been using so i must like that one a lot i love this Benefit brown color it's the one that i use for my Sephora campaign and one of the only brown colors i actually enjoy this one is from Kate i got it in japan keep Pat McGrath that's too dark for me it might be nice for a fall lip i will keep her for now the Dior Lip Glow i think this product is okay i think a lot of people hype it up i think it's not bad but it's very expensive for what it's worth i think i'm gonna toss it finally we have the Armani lippies i honestly just get overwhelmed with the number of lippies i have that i don't tend to reach for these guys but these are a good quality i'm gonna keep them from Dazzle we have a clear gloss that's slightly pink it has cherry blossoms on it which is so cute but i don't think i like it all right Cosis oh it's kind of like an orangey color toss we have quite the lineup from romand that is a pretty crazy color of pink i don't think we'll be using that i do think it's new so we're gonna donate her jujube kind of a dark red color maybe for the fall perhaps doable nudie peanut okay that is more of an orange oh that is way too red i think i guess if you like blend them out they're not too bad yeah if you blend them out i guess they're not all too bad we will keep these the ink velvets i used to really adore from peripera i don't ever reach for them fresh from house of her love their blushes but goodbye and thank you and then daisy i don't think i would ever use a straight up brown maybe i'm wrong who knows she's very brown this one is more of a normal color from Cosis we have three vegas which i know i love i think i actually used this on my wedding weekend at one point high cut which is also a little bit more of a nudish color and finally this color i don't know if i would use this is called turned on it's a little bit too red gonna donate her doing pretty good this one should be easy we've got foundation this Patrick Ta super sheer very beautiful not the right shade highlighter very beautiful i think i have plenty of good highlighters so donate from NARS we have a cushion foundation i really really like the previous one but this one just did not work the same toss these need to go in the shade match and then we have concealers if they are sitting here in here it means that i am not using them because i have other ones that i'm using so we're gonna say goodbye to all of these bye these are balms from Jones Road that apparently i've never really used there is one that i used a little bit more i just don't think i like understand the purpose of this product that well it's kind of like a blush but it's not super pigmented yeah i'm gonna toss the one that i've swatched and donate the other from Makeup Forever we have powder foundation i am not a powder foundation girly i tried really hard to be i do feel really bad because it's a good product but i'm gonna put her in the donation next up we have blush and bronzer do y'all remember these extremely controversial YSL blushes that they didn't look good on anybody there's like a purple lilac-y color i don't know if this would ever go well on my skin i don't know what scenario i would ever use a purple blush i guess i kept them all these years thinking i'd do something fun with it and clearly i haven't oh and that is straight up orange i think i'm going to donate both of these i love this blush to death she's coming with me from armani we have this very pink blush very very pink but very cute always love a cotton candy look this is shade happy we'll keep that i've never once used these tiny keychains very cute we'll keep that as well this is a little too pink we are going to donate her cute but probably won't ever use her donate i am very fortunate to receive so many products but unfortunately that means i just will never be able to use them all this is the ube baked birthday cake brand new never opened i just like the cherry blossom one so much better donate this is the airy cloud set this is just so hard to open it's always hard to open this is the bronzer which i do believe i actually do enjoy i will keep the bronzer from persona we also have another bronzer i think i just have too many donate and oh my god these smell so good they smell like pure chocolate the Too Faced contour sticks i do really like these i have one warm tone and one cool tone that i'll keep this is a little bit too bright toss a beautiful highlighter that i have not reached for but i should from Milk Makeup we also have this super cute highlighter but i think having that feels really cute though for a nice travel bag maybe maybe i'll keep her this is blushes life let's see if this color is one that i would use she is toasty i like that from dibs we have a corally color don't think i will use this one a pinky color that i probably also would not use but brand new donate oh my gosh i found more lippies i believe i've already pre-screened through these lippies i would just keep them oh my gosh that's a lot of lippies so i'm starting to freak out because we are literally moving in three days this is the state of affairs next thing we're about to tackle is these drawers this is usually stuff that i need to review and just haven't gotten to it i don't even know what that is and then we have nail care stuff in here and then after that we need to go through all of these and then all of this and this absolutely the section i've been dreading the most i refuse to not get this done today i will absolutely get this done okay let's get sorting so this is the nail bin we have a lot of press-on nails i don't think that i need to keep all of these and then we also have some nail polishes and stuff in total we've got 24 of these let's try to get it to under 10 maybe these are super cute but unfortunately i can't wear stuff with ip because brands are always like no logos i think i'm actually gonna make some giveaway prizes because we have some epic stuff what i'm gonna do is comment down below tell me your name tell me where you're living and tell me what the get rid of some uh cuticle oil i think we can toss that these are my favorite nail polishes i'm going to keep those press on nail dissolver i don't think i've ever used this toss i think this is already expired this one's spilled but i love it keep base coat nail strengthener gel polish we have ridge filler and two normal gel polish colors i do not use light blue so we're gonna donate her we have all these different colors for nail polish but i think i'm actually gonna toss these guys and i will just keep two of them gonna remove this one all right all nail related items are in this little ziploc this is my cute pokemon color pop palette i'm gonna keep her this one is too light for my skin tone donate anti-frizz treatment donate toss oh scalp serum i probably need that keep i already have a lot of these so i'm gonna toss this one no contacts for me for the rest of my life because clearly we have enough oh my god that's a lot of contacts okay and then we have some eyelashes which i will keep okay this road glazing mist not sure she's doing anything donate caffeine reset sculpting mask also don't really know that this does that much toss mostly because i'm moving i would be more willing to try it sea mist i'm gonna donate all right next door let's see what we can tackle here pdr and booster gel this is a giant thing that is unopened i should probably keep this cicaplast my favorite let's keep that these are face masks from dr jart donate collagen jelly cream oh this is a mini version keep wow bubble serum so fun keep oh i feel stressed out body balm from my wedding keep this is supposed to be a mist for before doing your makeup i have so many never gotten to this donate wow i'm on a roll donate cuticle oil brand new donate oh we're getting there this eyeliner has kind of dried out we're gonna throw it away oh my god it comes with a little brush I guess I'll keep it. This I don't even think works. Toss. Okay, I don't think I like these setting sprays even though they're super expensive. I'm gonna donate them. Oh God. How can one person have this much stuff? Rare Beauty. Oh, oh. What the? Did you guys see that? The entire shade of eyeshadow just fell out. She just fell out. Time to throw it away. Oh my God. Should I put it in the donate? I feel like somebody would really like this but now it's missing a color. Toss, all right, goodbye. You know, you have been one of my most used eyeshadow palettes but I feel like it's time for you to go to the dumpster. Don't think I'm gonna use this. Toss, donate, toss. Oh my God. I feel stressed out. Too bad. Why do you have so much stuff? Why don't you help me clean my stuff? I am helping right now. Alright, next we're going to tackle this giant section. I'm just going to go through and start sorting things. These are things that I'm generally using on a weekly basis. But we're going to go ahead and just start packing things up. Okay, this is going to require me to clip up my hair because this is a big task. I've been in my claw clip era and I'm cleaning, my hair needs to be out of my face. If anyone has claw clips that they feel like hold up all of their hair, if you have very thick hair, please comment down below. I love the MEJ ones, but I wish they made them bigger. And yes, I already have the big version of the one that they have. I just have too much hair, which I guess is a blessing and a curse. Honestly, I would love to release claw clips. This one is too yellow, so we never reach for her. This one I do use when i'm gonna use one but i do think she's like a little bit on the pinker side have never reached for the hourglass highlighter supposed to be very pretty supposedly does have a nice shimmer the merit highlighter been used but not recently and the rare beauty highlighter we have some liquid highlighters i don't think we need multiple of these so i will keep one and donate the other and i think i'm also gonna put palettes in here again these are my daily palette so i'm using them all the time and we have two little glitter bombs that i'm gonna put in here done not too bad and i think we can finish this in one more last bag this is gonna be lip liners and eyeliner now i do have a lot of just random eyeliners that i don't think even work that well anymore i am gonna go through and make sure each one of these work brow pencil that is a little bit on the dark side we are gonna donate her this one is brand new brow okay that's an okay color.
