So every now and then I get questions
about people wanting to upscale, wanting
to level up, wanting to do better,
wanted to rebrand. And as someone who
constantly reinvents herself, here are a
few things I would give you as tips and
as pointers. First things first would be
to determine what kind of person you
want to be or you want to be. And this
is not to say you're recreating into
something that you cannot recognize or
into a version of yourself that you
cannot resonate with. This is to say
you're saying, "Okay, my values have
changed. My values are no longer the
same as they used to be, and I want to
do better or be better or be someone
else or improve or things I used to
stand for. I don't want to stand for
them again." First things first would be
to filter out your spaces and also
surround yourself with people who have
similar values as the values you want to
invite or inculcate which would include
um for instance I'm a Christian and if I
want to continue my walk in Christ it
would be to surround myself with
Christians or with people who have the
same faith value. So that way if there
are certain things I'm saying don't see
through my spirit what I'm saying does
not resonate with who I'm trying to be.
They will be able to understand that I
am not just trying to be BB shoes or be
ridiculous. These are things that are
values that are rooted in the Bible. And
even when you're trying to kind of
circumvent it, they be like, "Oh, I
think you know what? There's a loophole
here." They will be like, "Uh, no." And
that just helps keep you grounded. So, I
don't know if it's this global saying,
but there's a Nigerian saying that says,
"Show me your friends and I'll tell you
who you are." And honestly, I stand by
it 100 cuz a lot of the opportunities or
a lot of things I've done in my life
have had elements of my friends being
included in them. So I strongly
recommend you choosing your friends
wisely and friends like I know a lot of
people so it will be like the people
that are categorized as acquaintances
friends close friends just friends of
friends people from school people from
work and I think most times we try to
blur the lines and that's where the
problem comes in you need to know who
your core centered people are and then
also for everyone kind of mental box of
who everyone is to you and just try not
to cross a line I think you should be
fine something that makes people feel
less confident generally would that they
feel they're not ready for opportunities
or they're not that you mustn't know
everything while we have the world at
our fingertips. It may be a bit much to
know everything. So I would have to say
that you should um always prepare before
you go for things. Always prepare before
you go for books or before you go into
certain rooms or go into routine. Kind
of learn a thing or two that could be
handy that just make you feel a lot
better about yourself. And regarding the
information, sometimes we may have
difficulty sitting down and reading
books or things all at once. But I would
definitely suggest signing up to
newsletters, signing up, subscribing to
channels on YouTube or whatever
platform, following short content cuz
that way you're able to immerse
knowledge really quickly and just in
shorter forms as opposed to having a
long form time. Now, if you are the kind
of person that likes to read, then get
books that would kind of feed into the
mindset you're trying to build towards
or feed into the life you're trying to
grow towards. And there's nothing wrong.
For instance, I am a very high energy,
hyperindependent person generally. And
at the start of the year, God told me
that my theme for the year was rest. And
it seems very ridiculous and mundane.
Every few every year, I would have a
theme for my life. And I don't
necessarily talk about it outside. Um,
but it's just things that God would deal
with me throughout the year in terms of
unrest. I did not know how difficult
rest was or how unfamiliar rest was for
me until it was that. And it's been a
very interesting year. But I definitely
feel a lot restful. Just mentally,
physically, spiritually, emotionally
more restful. And this also includes me.
How I carry about my life, how I decide
to function, how I decide to respond to
things, how the kinds of videos I put
out, the kind of messaging. My messaging
are just like doing things that a little
softer, gentler, calmer that don't make
my nerves all over the place. Now I'm
always high energy and I have done like
YouTube challenges doing adrenaline
feeding stuff but now I am leaning
towards calmer things and just more
peaceful things generally and I've
really enjoyed it so much and it has
made me just feel very
I can't explain it but that's the exact
feeling I have and I think it's great
and this is not to say that life is not
life being an adult is not crazy but
it's just that this is just where I find
my own like that's just how I choose
used to live. My final pointer will be
that you should feed yourself with the
messaging you want the world to see you
as. So I know that sounds a bit weird
but speak to yourself how you want the
world to speak to you. So if I feel like
I am able to do things, I am capable.
There's this proverb that says the world
will call you the name you call yourself
and it's like my name is blessing and if
you call me a name that's not blessing
then that's not my name and I'm not
going to answer it. So in the same way
in how you see yourself if your name if
your your name is blessed your name is
confident your name is able to achieve
great things able to do difficult things
able to write a book and the world tells
you you cannot write a book guess what
that's not your name so you don't have
to answer to that name and you don't
have to internalize it because most
times I feel oh I have come to discover
speaking to people through mentorships
or just interactions cuz I'm a
conversationalist I will have the most
random conversations with people it is
that our internal voice stops us before
the external voices even start to stop
us and even start to stifle or try to
cramp us. And I know that many people
have had experiences while they were
growing up where maybe their family
spoke ill to them or their friends or
things that have happened. I made a
video called who taught you to shame and
surprisingly resonated with a lot of
people across all platforms and I I I
really didn't expect it to because it
was an experience I had few years back.
Now if you're able to trace your source
of shame, then you can counter that and
that may be a bit uncomfortable and that
may be a bit unnerving because it's a
lot of soulsearching and soul digging
and just auditing your own self and your
own mind and your own thoughts. And I
think if you're able to do that, you
would definitely level up and from there
kind of get to the things you want to
do. I hope you found this helpful. Don't
forget to like, comment, and subscribe.

if you want me to talk about anything
else and I will try my best to and if
it's something that maybe I am not very
versed on, I am happy to do some
research and come back and chat to you
about it because I think that
I think that we all could level up.
Level up.
Okay, that was random. Bye.
Bye from me. Lord Jesus.
