Well, the good thing is I made did it.
And not just any anyhow making it.
I made it with a first class.
That's all I'm here to tell you.
Anyways, let's head
to my graduation ceremony.
Where I will be conferred.
[Giggles in God did]
I will be conferred with a
Masters in Journalism and Public Relations.
[Dramatic exit]
This is such a full circle moment.
Today as you can see....
[Twirls dramatically]
Is my graduation, and I'm so excited!
This one year has been one for the books!
One for the books is the perfect summary
of what this year has been.
But I'm so excited that I'm graduating.
And with a first class,
Masters in Journalism and Public Relations.
Yo, I know like,
maybe first class is not
a big deal for some of you
but it means a lot to me
because I really wanted it.
And having fully studied
my Quantity Surveying and freelanced
and just been around
in the industry for a bit.
This is good!
I'm very happy about this one.
Academic weapon...
I am an academic weapon!
[Blushing in Gods grace]
I am allowed to hype myself up, the assignments...
Yo, Griffith is not for the weak.
Assignments are tough but
they really put a lot of effort
into education and training you
and hands-on training.
So the schedule is packed.
lectures, assignments
and all the bits.
Well, the good thing is I made did it.
And not just any anyhow making it.
I made it with a first class.
That's all I'm here to tell you.
Anyways, let's head
to my graduation ceremony.
Where I will be conferred.
Jesus
I will be conferred with a
Masters in Journalism and Public Relations.

First class babyyyyy!
And look who came to be my moral support.
[Albert] Yeahhh graduation!
Hype guy extraordinaire,
videographer extraordinaire.
[Albert] Photographer.
You people will finally rest in my hand
with wailing about assignments.
[Shoutout to my family for the support]
Come in, come in.
Look at the camera.
1...2...3...wohooo!
One more.
[Laughs]
All of our hair is bad.
Okay
1...2...3....wohooo!
Thank you.
Ah I have to take a picture with you.
- No.
- I love the...it actually matches with your dress.
- It was such a coincidence.
It's crazy.
I don't like it...
You. Don't. Like. My. Fit?!
- I'm kidding.
GCT: What did you study?
And what did you like about the programme?
- Okay, I studied Journalism and Public Relations
What I like about the
programme was the fact that it taught us...
I studied Journalism and Public Relations...
I studied Journalism
and Public Relations.
And what I liked about the programme
was the fact that the courses gave us
hands-on knowledge and
all the lecturers were people
that were in practice,
and have experience
with the course, like in real time.
So whatever they were teaching,
were things are industry applicable.
And that was really valuable for me,
especially as someone who came
from a more professional background
and was just getting the certification now
I found,
integrating the academic knowledge
and the professional knowledge
a lot easier having those tutors.
- Perfect
My journey to Ireland
is nothing short of...
It's interesting.
It's interesting, to be honest.
And I know people use the word
interesting loosely,
but it's been a very wonderful journey.
I remember
sitting in the class on the first day,
and when I got home,
when I was asked,
how was your first day
in this master's programme?
And I said, that the class felt like home.
I meant it because I studied,
Quantity Surveying for a really long time.
And although I love buildings,
I loved the course.
This was more natural to me.
This felt more like myself
and the support I had received
from the institution
during the course of the programme,
even when I got into
the CNN Climate Storytelling,
and the support
I got from the institution
like just in terms of presence,
the library, the students union the...
just everything. It was really welcoming.
Shout out to Barry Finnegan,
a wonderful,
wonderful Course Director.
I met the most amazing people
in the course of my studies,
both in the accommodation where I lived.
The students accommodation on campus.
That's a separate video.
Check out the playlist ‘Ireland’
for details of that video.
And also,
my classmates were
just from all over the world,
really friendly, really cooperative.
I really enjoyed
my time here and I
and I know it sounds very nerdy
to say
you love school,
but I love learning and
having the resources
and the freedom to learn to this degree,
even if you're paying for it, kind of
makes it
a lot better and more fulfilling.
So thank you.
Thank you, Griffith College.
Thank you to my family.
THANK YOU TO MY FAMILY!!!!
because they dealt all the breakdowns,
and for their unwavering support.
For their prayers, to my friends,
to just everybody.
I've had a very pleasant experience
in Ireland.
And I made the most random people
in the most random ways
but it’s truly been a blessing.
Like, I'm just thinking about it
and I'm really happy.
[Chants] I’m not gonna cry
Because I’m a hard guy.
[Laughs]
But yeah, don't forget to
like, comment, subscribe.
Don't forget to like,
comment, subscribe, turn on
post notifications
till I come your way next time. Bye bye.
And oh
don't forget, it's never too late
to chase your dreams.
And even if you have little steps
to make to get there, just start
and it's all going to make sense.
And it’s all going to
tie together in the end.
And I also mentioned
like the CNN programme,
the link is in the description
and any other bits I spoke about,
the link will be in the description.
Bye bye now.
Time to say
goodbye to the robe,
I have to go and return it now.
