Laura Ingraham: THIS comes at a price NONE of us can afford

Their playbook is laughable. The playbook is laughable. A party that has been funded for decades, as I said, by mega rich types like Tom Steyer, Reid Hoffman, billionaires, George Soros, Alex Soros. They go into their play acting mode like they're for the little guy. Some of you see the event that Trump had last week with the big tech guys. Right behind them, right behind them were the richest, some of the richest people in the world. That's who Trump works for. You think those guys are staying up nights worrying about the impact of AI on working families. Of course, the Bernie types are fine though with China winning the AI wars, is what he was talking about. After all, they prefer communism to democracy. And don't buy the phony altruism that entire act they're putting on. Because remember who funded the Democrats in 2024? People like Laurene Jobs, the widow of Apple founder, Steve Jobs. And the tech billionaires ponied up huge against Trump. Remember back in 2016 and 2020, Dustin Moskovitz, the founder of Facebook, spent only $20 million. And the super intelligence execs should neither be treated like demigods nor should they be kind of laughed at or dismissed for the joint efforts now put in place to put some safety, make guardrails that the American people wanted. Trump's efforts to put together a team of smart people rather than throw government bureaucrats toward the industry, that's simply common sense. The public has concerns and the president is trying to address those concerns. Republicans in the next four weeks need to frame this midterm election as common sense versus crazy. Because like, you're worried about inflation? Okay, then you should be worried about Democrats' spending plans. Because remember how Biden's blow jacked up inflation? If the Democrats get it, expect it to be far worse. After all, they intend to eliminate private health insurance to stick us with government healthcare. Not only am I gonna fight to restore funding for Medicaid, when you elect me to Congress, I will be a day one co-sponsor of Medicare for all. Healthcare is a human right. Okay, human right? Well, tell that to the people waiting years for basic medical procedures in the UK. The National Health Service there is a complete mess and things aren't getting any better for healthcare in Canada. Folks there are fed up with impossibly long wait times. One recent nationwide survey in Canada found that only 14% of respondents said they believe the healthcare system they have is headed in the right direction. And yet the Democrats wanna take us in that direction. How does any of that make sense? It's insane. We're gonna talk to Dr. Mehmet Oz in a moment about common sense reforms that will actually help American patients. So on issue after issue, Democrats just wanna force on America policies that punish working families and which as we've seen in Europe and beyond, they invariably fail whenever they're tried. They wanna pick up where Biden left off and resume the mass importation of migrants and refugees as well. What has this led to? Mass cultural upheaval, fraud, and crime. And an explosion of course on the Medicaid fraud front. Thank you, Tim Walz. And contrary to what the Democrats would have you believe, yes, more crime. If you would have told me 10 years ago that there would be a gang-related shooting at a homecoming football game in Minnesota in Eden Prairie, I would have laughed. I know that town well. But residents there aren't laughing tonight. It's insane to embrace what is destroying parts of the United States and blue cities and blue states and destroying Europe before our eyes. These are so-called protests in France. It's mass chaos and violence. And this is why Marine Le Pen will win next year's election. Europeans are sick of it. So just as Democrats want America to embrace socialism, most major nations that have actually lived under socialism or quasi-socialism are rejecting it. It's not just France that's waking up. Brazil's about to boot left-wing Luis Inácio Lula in favor of Flavio Bolsonaro. Although the New York Times headline, I love this, says Lula has three weeks to find the votes to stop the country's rightward shift. They're always finding votes. Now, Spanish voters also seem to be fed up with the hard-left Spanish PM Sanchez. A housing and border crisis there are roiling that country. Hundreds of thousands of North Africans have flooded there in the past few months, and the right-leaning parties there should also win easily in that snap election. But look, Democrats are just hell-bent on punishing you, punishing America with multiculturalism while calling it progress. We all believe that this is a place that is better because of our diversity, and we want to fight to protect that. And in California, this is where it's leading. Muslim holidays are now standard for schools and state offices. And of course, expect immigrant fraud, that industry, to ramp back up if they're in charge. Democrat elected officials were asleep at the switch for years as their favorite constituents robbed us blind. Imagine rewarding that track record. Now, without the Trump administration, 99% of this massive theft would have never been uncovered. And as for the number one issue for voters, the cost of living, affordability, gas prices, I want everyone listening tonight to know this. High gas prices will be permanent if Democrats have their way. They hate gas-powered cars, and they would be thrilled to lock us all into tiny EVs imported from China. They'll feel noble when they handcuff the oil and gas industry. And the Iran conflict, yeah, it's causing some temporary disruptions and price spikes. But for years in California, we've seen just how much they cared about high gas prices. They've punished their residents with high gas taxes and absurd emission rules. This has been going on for decades. Again, this hurts the average working person that Democrats claim to care so much about. In other words, voters hoping to punish Trump over the war will only be punishing themselves. If Obama and Biden had the solutions on affordability, why did voters in 2016 and 2024 choose Trump? Meanwhile, what you're really getting when you vote Democrat, you're not getting centrism or Bill Clinton-style policies. You're getting socialism. And that comes at a price that none of us can afford. And that's the angle. That's the angle.
