At the exits, the right corner of the country
should be in the middle of the car.
And then right curve.
Very good.
Right curve.
Yes.
Left wide side.
145.
Then right curves down.
Right curve.
I'm just going to get to enjoy
Yeah, me too.
what this car can do.
Hey buddy, it's Hans here.
If you haven't figured this out,
we're going to the Nürburgring.
The Neuschleifen.
Yeah, we are here in Deutschland.
Obviously, as you guys already know.
We are meeting up with my boy Misha
from Apex.
He is...
Shut up, Julia.
I'm trying to talk.
Wow, that actually just went all over the place.
Guys, we're going to the Nürburgring.
In the Murcielago.
Brought the wrong car.
Should have brought the Porsche.
Obviously.
But this car is a head turner.
And this one is the queen in my stable.
So that's why I brought the car here.
We're going to put down some decent fast times.
Unfortunately, the clutch run out isn't,
you know, my best friend.
You know, it's kind of slipping just a little.
So I'm not going to be able to downshift too much.
Catch the right gear.
I've got to leave the car in gears
much longer than I want to.
As long as the clutch is engaged,
it's not going to give me too many problems.
It's when you try to shift gears
and the gears are spinning at 68,000 RPMs.
And the clutch is trying to engage onto that.
That's when the clutch burns out.
So if I just leave it in gear,
I might be able to put it around there, you know.
Put down some decent times.
Definitely going to push it as hard as I can.
Not as hard as I can.
Let me rephrase that.
I'm going to push it about 7 tenths.
I want to make sure the car goes back in one piece.
Why don't I just put the camera down
and we'll talk once I get there.
Yeah, all right. Much better.
All right, guys.
So I just got here.
Track closes in two hours.
There's been an accident.
So the track is currently shut down.
Misha's on the track giving someone a lap.
Once he comes back,
we're going to be in an identical 720 from Apex.
So we're going to go for one or two laps in the 720.
And then we're going to do a couple of laps
with the Murcielago.
I bought the ticket.
You get this little card.
You swipe in.
You go in.
Each lap is 30 bucks.
Pretty expensive.
So actually, it's not when you think about it.
Each lap is like 10 minutes.
So got a couple of boys that came out
by the Mondialago.
So I don't know what the hell we're doing.
Waiting for Misha.
Misha, andale, bro.
OK.
So the boys over here just told me
the track is closed.
It's a red flag.
The last time this happened,
someone flew out of the car.
OK.
Very safe.
Glad we're here.
I hope the track opens up.
Closes in two hours.
It's usually closed for one or two hours
whenever it's a red flag.
So hopefully, we get a couple of laps in at least.
I will tune in with you guys
once I have further detail.
All right, dudes.
To keep you updated,
the track is closed for the rest of the day.
The poor guy.
God bless his soul.
I hope it's not a fatality.
They don't know for sure that it's a fatality,
but everything's pointing that way.
The guy was hanging out the car,
like half his body was hanging out,
blood covered all over the place,
and his helmet was 100 meters down the road.
Ton of fire trucks, ambulances, police officers.
So everything's pointing towards that direction.
Let's hope he's OK.
Guys, don't push yourself too far.
Impress some numbers.
Don't chase numbers.
When you chase numbers,
that's when you run into trouble.
That's why I say seven-tenths.
Go seven-tenths.
Keep yourself safe.
That's the smartest thing to do.
Very tragic.
Let's hope for the best, huh?
Let's hope he's OK.
I'll come back tomorrow.
See you guys tomorrow.
For now, I'm going to go to the shop.
I'm going to buy a couple of subscribers some merch.
JD is one of them.
JD's been a diehard fan
and every time I post a YouTube video,
the first thing he does is
he posts it up on his story with the swipe up feature.
That's all his friends know.
When he's got a new video, go check it out.
So JD, my man, shout out to you.
That's true love.
So I'm going to buy you merch.
But yeah, I'll see you guys tomorrow, man.
So sorry it had to end this way,
but it is what it is.
Let's hope the guy is OK.
All right, guys.
Can I take a picture with you?
Yeah, of course, man.
I want the vlog camera to show you, man.
Good to see you in Europe.
Have fun, man.
The track is closed now.
I know this monster over here, Misha,
is going to teach me how to be a race car driver
on the Nürburgring.
Nice seeing you, bro.
Have fun, man.
Take care.
OK, so as I was saying,
Nürburgring, day two.
Once again, the track is closed.
However, we got here early today, 12 o'clock,
so we have like seven hours.
Within the next seven hours,
the track is 100% going to open.
I purchased three laps for the Mercy Logo.
I'm going to do three laps.
And I guess Misha is going to show me.
We're going to do slow laps in the Mercy Logo.
Fast for me, slow for him.
And then he's going to show me
what fast laps are over here.
So this track, for those that don't know,
it's 13 miles long, 21 kilometers,
154 turns.
And I was just talking to Misha.
He says it takes over 100 laps
to familiarize yourself with the track.
You got to do like 200 laps in here
to learn all the turns,
all the bumps, the different tractions.
There's 14 different type of pavements?
About 17.
17.
Some pavements are even like over 30 years old,
so very bad grip conditions.
The best part about it
because the track gets resurfaced every year,
like small sections of it.
And then you need to learn the section again.
Constantly change it.
Yeah, because of like some new bumps
or like your roots underneath the track
from the trees that make the create bumps.
It's like a rally stage.
Every time, every year is different.
Okay.
So yeah, we got a lot to learn today.
We're going to do three laps first in the Mercy.
And then, like I said,
we're going to do a bunch of fast laps with him.
And then if I have time,
if the track is still open,
I'm going to go back with the Mercy logo.
Once I've learned, you know,
maybe by then I'll have learned four of the turns.
So four of the 154 turns.
So in LA, we have this track,
the big one, Big Willow.
2.5 miles long,
but it only has nine turns.
Okay.
You go one lap
and you already remember the entire...
And one of the turns,
turn seven,
you just turn the steering wheel one degree.
It's not even a turn.
Wow.
Well, here you will see
that it's actually a momentum track.
So once you know the track,
you don't need a lot of horsepower
as long as you can keep your foot planted
and know where you don't need to lift
because 90% of the track is blind.
And because the track is blind,
you really need to know exactly
where you can be
and where you should not be.
That is my biggest worry.
Lifting when I'm not supposed to lift
because I don't know what the next turn is.
And then the guy behind me is just ripping
because he knows the next turn
is still a flat-out turn.
And then on top of that,
you have also the issue of lift-off oversteer.
So don't lift mid-corner
because you're being surprised.
Especially in that car.
Especially.
Also, a lot of track is going uphill.
So sometimes...
Okay.
Yeah, I've seen this guy on Instagram
a gazillion times.
I love his yellow headlights.
Oh, guys.
I can't tell you how many videos I've seen
of this car.
Why is it so low?
Like someone wants to meet you.
Hey.
How are you, bro?
I've seen so many of your Instagram videos.
Yeah, yeah.
Thank you, Misha.
Why is it so low?
Is it low or...?
No, it's because it's...
Okay.
I thought maybe you have airbags.
But I was like,
no, there's no way.
No, we didn't do that.
I have tyre this time.
So while Mondi is away
to the bathroom,
I'm hijacking his camera.
I'm gonna tell you a random fact.
One of the craziest modifications
I've ever seen on a race car
was made for this massive straight
because the Nürburgring
has the world's longest straight.
It's two kilometers,
which is like 1.2 miles long.
And because of that,
it takes roughly 30 seconds
to drive past it.
Now, during the 24-hour race,
there was a driver
who was like a severe chain smoker
and he had a carbon fiber pocket
on his door
for his cigarettes and a lighter
so he could go on this main straight,
have 30 seconds
to smoke up his cigarette
and then continue with his laps.
Crazy, huh?
Well, for a lot more crazy facts,
make sure to subscribe to my channel
in the video description, I hope.
All right, guys.
We just had some ice cream.
The track is open.
We're going to set up
the GoPros on the car.
We're going to go in for a lap.
Okay, important things.
I'm so nervous!
Important things.
You can only overtake
on the left side.
No overtaking is on the right.
This also means
you will be overtaking on the left.
So when you see a faster car behind you,
stay on the right side
so they can take over left
and preferably turn the indicator
to the right
because they'll be looking like,
oh, someone from the States,
he has no idea what he's doing
so they're going to wait too long
to overtake you until it's safe.
But if you show them
that you've seen them
and allowed them to pass,
they will go past you.
When a car is passing you,
keep your eyes on the road,
not in the mirrors
because otherwise
you will end up
going off the track.
If we see a yellow flag,
this means there's
an accident up ahead.
You need to slow down
to 50 kilometers an hour,
5.0,
which is roughly
30 miles an hour.
Turn on the hazard lights
and do not overtake.
If you disobey
one of those three rules,
you will get banned
for the day.
Against the circle.
Yeah.
Perfect.
Okay.
Exactly.
You can overtake
the Peugeot.
On the gas.
Aim for the middle
of the bridge.
Start steering
to the left curb
and right curb
in a straight line.
Speed is fine,
don't brake,
don't lift,
left curb,
right curb.
Into the middle
of the track
and staying on the middle.
A bit on the brakes,
let go,
over white line
to the left side
to the left curb stone
on the brakes
and to the right curb stone.
So, on the right,
there's going to be
orange barrier,
that's your braking point,
stay right
and traffic light
turning point to the left.
So, your brakes,
there's a traffic light
turning to the left curb stone.
Towards the outside
to the right curb
and on the gas.
Middle of the track,
right curb stone,
two kilometer sign left
towards the sign
before the sign,
a bit on the brakes,
sign turning in
and go.
Good.
Gas, gas, gas, gas
to the uphill right part
of the track
where the white car is.
Over the crest,
exclamation mark on the right
is your braking point
of five kilometer sign.
Okay, no braking anymore,
that's enough.
Five kilometer sign,
turn in left curb stone
and turn left
and staying left
on the brakes a bit
to the right curb stone
to the outside
and staying on the right
to the yellow graffiti.
So, stay right, right, right,
right, right, right,
the left curb stone.
Very good.
That's the part
where everyone goes on the grass
because they don't see it
and on the gas, flat out.
Wow, so technical.
Yep.
Right curb stone
and towards the outside
left curb
and on the gas.
The next mile
is a flat out section.
So, going on the gas,
flat out section.
Yes, correct.
And left side,
stay left,
stay on the gas,
count the curb stones,
one,
stay on the gas,
two,
right curb stone,
left fence 138,
speed is fine.
Car behind you or not?
No, no, good.
And brakes
and go inside.
There we go.
Oh, I wonder if the car
is going to bottom out here.
No, it's fine.
At the exit,
the right corner of the plate
should be in the middle
of the car.
Oh, it's bottoming.
And the right curb stone.
Good.
Well, at least you have
some pictures.
Oh, right.
To the left 145,
the right curb stone
passed into the left curb
before the left curb
just gently lift
and gas again.
Left curb stone
and stay close on the left.
Welcome to the YouTube corner.
On the brakes
and turning right curb stone
closer to the outside
on the left
and staying left
on the brakes.
Let go right curb stone
and to the outside
on the left.
On the gas to the outside
use all of the track
and back to the right side.
Orange flag on the left
turning point
to the right curb stone.
I don't know, bottoming out?
It's bottoming out.
Yeah, yeah.
Middle of the bridge.
Left side of the bridge
stay on the gas.
Left curb stone.
Overtake.
Gas.
OK, but that was
the only compression
for the left.
On the brakes stay left.
Right curb stone tight.
Tight, tight, tight.
Left curb stone.
Window on the fence
on the right
and on the gas flat out.
OK.
On top of the bridge.
OK.
Right barrier.
Lift.
Upshift.
Microphone on the right.
Microphone.
Lift.
Yep.
Left curb.
Middle.
Left curb.
Stay on the gas.
Left curb stone
to the 6 km side
on the bottom.
Curb stone.
Stay right
close to the barrier
to the yellow graffiti.
Stay right, right, right
right, right
and left curb stone.
Very good.
Right curb
and on the gas
to the outside
left curb
and flat out for the straight.
Good.
Staying left curb.
Right curb.
To the left side
and to the outside
and on the gas
and stay left.
Stay left.
Hard braking.
Let go right curb
and brake again.
Brake again.
Brake, brake, brake.
Slow section of the track.
Left curb stone
then to the right curb stone
to the 90 sign
on the left
and stay left.
OK, at 1.23 on the right
there's going to be a microphone.
So there's a mic
from the ISO here
of the throttle.
OK, and gas.
Left curb stone.
Stay left.
Stay left
between the signs
on the brakes.
Stay left on the sign
1.25.
Curb stone.
And to the outside.
Very good.
Gas.
Go.
And flat.
On the brakes
and going in.
Stay in the concrete pit.
At the exit
the right corner of the concrete pit
should be in the middle of the car
and then right curb.
Very good.
Right curb.
Gas.
Left wide sign
1.45
then right curb stone.
Right curb.
Left curb before the left curb.
Gently lift
and gas again.
A bit on the brakes.
Stay left.
Let go right curb.
To the outside
and on the gas.
Staying left.
On the brakes
and straight.
Right.
And to the right curb stone.
To the right side.
Stay right.
It's yellow.
Slow down.
50 or 30 miles.
That was good.
What a f***ing track, man.
Wow, those
the compression parts
and the parts where you go
like airborne
especially with this car
when you feel the rear go
like light.
Alright, guys.
We are back.
We're going to take the Mercy log out
one more time
just to get black flag
for the noise.
Someone just sent me a video
which we'll post
over here
of me shooting flames
on the track
which was f***ing epic.
That is the fastest
I've ever taken a turn.
It takes
a lot
to get used to.
That is
out of this world.
I mean, we don't have
turns like that
in LA.
What I'm used to is
slower tracks
drifting around the turns
sliding the car around.
It's very controllable
when you're not going fast
but at
150
160
miles an hour
taking those turns
the g-force
my body's
never experienced that before.
That was
out of this world.
Even like in rallying, right?
When you slide the car
there's no g-force
because you're sliding.
One more accident.
Unfortunately, this one
is a rollover
so
this one is going to take
I don't know
probably
an hour, two hours
for them to clear it up
and after that
Misha's going to take my car
around the track.
We're going to get a black flag
for the
I have one more lap
so I'm going to let Misha
drive the car
just to get his reaction
and it's going to be very scary
because if
for a second
he thinks
my car handles
like that 720
or that he could take turns
close to
the speeds the 720
was taking turns at
he's going to be in for
a very rude awakening.
So I'm going to tell him
to drive very very slow
because it's my baby
I don't want to
crash that car
that is the one car
I will never ever ever push
on a turn
because
it's one of a kind.
If I wreck it
I will cry
for the rest of my life.
But if you ever wonder
just how technical
and how scary
and intense
this track is
it's called the green hell
for a reason.
It's not called the green hell
for just like
you know
just for the hell of it.
No this really is
the green hell.
It's been five accidents today
with a rollover right now
and you know
the day's halfway through.
Now you're going to drive
my car around.
Yeah I'm excited.
Yes.
Forty percent.
Yeah easy.
Okay.
Alright cool cool.
We just want to get
a black flag that's it.
That's the only reason.
Alright dudes
we're with Misha
obviously I'm the passenger
this time.
We're going to get
a black flag.
So I had to lift
every single time
we went by the microphones.
This time we're not lifting
because apparently
if you get a black flag
you get a little flagger.
They show you
that there is
that you have a black flag.
Okay.
So you know
we're going to get that
whatever it is.
Now you guys saw me
driving relatively
careful and slow.
Misha's going to go
a little faster
but I told him
not to go too fast.
So if you guys want to see
very fast laps
of like what this guy
is actually capable of doing
make sure to check out
his YouTube channel.
He is
he's a freaking animal.
I'm going to go very easy.
It's not my car.
It's the first time
I'm driving.
I drove only like
half a mile with it
from our office to here.
So easy coming.
And I told him
plenty of times
make sure you drive slow.
101.
If you wreck it
we'll both be crying.
Yes.
Cannot replace it.
And it definitely
does not handle
like a McLaren.
I was screaming
inside the car.
I'm just going to
get to enjoy
what this car can do.
Holy ----.
On the Nurburgring
with a better driver.
Just warm up the tires
a little bit.
Yeah we need to
warm up the tires.
For sure.
Madre mia.
That's uh
not this car.
Please.
Okay.
Like 10% less than that.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah cruising altitude.
Yeah perfect.
Not even
car scrapes.
My heart like
stops.
Well there's not going
to be any compression
here anymore so.
And if you want to
have the black flag.
Definitely
I got to replace
the shocks
on this car
after this trip.
Oh ******* A.
I was on my phone
texting.
You got sick?
No no.
Not sick.
I actually felt better
when I wasn't
paying attention.
So we've got uh
another microphone
area over here huh?
Yeah.
The first one
was already sufficient.
Oh yeah?
Okay let's do it here.
I guess I get to
find out what my
car really handles like
huh?
Maybe it's just
because I'm passenger
and I'm not holding
a steering wheel.
But this feels
so much scarier.
And I'm sure
obviously you're going
much faster
than I was.
But uh
definitely feels
a lot scarier
being a passenger.
You got a good
hang for the car
though now?
A bit heavy.
A bit?
The brakes are
unsettling the car
slightly.
You do 0-60
in first gear.
Well.
It sounds uh
leave it alone.
Slow here.
Yeah yeah yeah.
The car doesn't
like the jumps.
The what?
The car doesn't like
the engine.
Yeah.
Thank you.
And I'm sorry
for being a bitch.
You're not the first one.
Oh my god.
Yeah so if you ever
uh you know
wonder how much
this car means to me
I guess now you know.
Yeah something's
definitely up with
the suspension huh?
The rubbing?
Yeah yeah.
Is it stock?
No it's stock
suspension.
It's just uh
I'm telling you
when I hit that bump
in Switzerland
the car went
to the airport
at 80 miles an hour.
So what's your
impression of the
Nürburgring?
Very scary
but exhilarating
and fun at the same time.
Very challenging
demanding
be here
like
a few thousand
laps away.
Yeah I told you
like you have
a GT3 RS
back home
but you said
I brought the wrong car
but with the GT3 RS
nobody would be
like taking pictures
or like
exactly.
Yeah in the GT3 RS
I would have let you
go as fast as you want.
You know
that car can
handle it
just because it's
very old.
Yeah yeah.
Things are
worn out
unfortunately
the clutch and
suspension seems
to be worn out now.
Track closed again
huh?
Yes.
Yeah it's not
track seated
obviously.
It's heavy
like even in the
straight line
when you brake
the car just
like
uh huh
yeah it wobbles
all over the place.
This car is
more about the
sound
and the way
it makes you feel
rather than the
track.
The aesthetics
of the car
menacing it is
but.
Yep.
It's on it's on
leave it leave it.
37.
Much too loud.
Okay.
Perfect.
Thank you.
I don't get it.
Proofs of the
mercy logo.
Yeah yeah.
I think she likes
the sound.
Yeah no
she's awesome
my great
she's like
she and her
husband
they like
they had
marshals
they've been
doing it
here for
many many
years
and they
just like
they understand
the fun of it
they're not
that serious
Germans.
It looks like
she was all
joking around.
I told her
like hey
it's an
evergreen
you just
gotta have
fun
they're like
yeah well
you're right
so but
today it's over
for you.
137 that's
good that's
impressive.
And when you
passed it you were
at 6,000 rpm
because of the
traffic.
Yeah so it
could have been
higher and I
think 140 is a
jet fighter taking
off.
Wow.
So we're
okay almost
there.
I want to go
do one more
try to get
140 unfortunately
we're done for
the day.
We're gonna put
the link in the
description to
Misha's YouTube
channel.
If you guys want
to see really
cool POV
Nürburgring action
this is the
channel to check
it out on.
A trip to
the Nürburgring
isn't official
until you get
the sticker so
Misha's gonna do
me the honor
placing that
sticker right
over here where
Nürburgring is on
the map.
Obviously guys
I've missed a lot
of stickers I
haven't had time
to souvenir
shopping but when
I get home I'll
go to Amazon and
I'll get the
stickers.
Yeah a lot of
people back home
were probably like
well not a lot of
people.
People that know
you they know you
but people who
don't know you
gonna be like
oh what a
faker probably
never been to
the Nürburgring
putting stickers
on probably
garage queen
anyway but
no doing it
the right way.
So straight on
an angle how
would you like it?
You know
whatever you
want bro.
You know
what?
Just like
that.
Whatever you
think is right.
There is no
wrong at the
Nürburgring
unless you
crash.
Today we
have not
crashed.
Seems like
you've done this
a few times
before.
I used to
work for the
sticker company.
That is so
legit.
Thank you very
much it was
awesome.
Thank you
for today bro
appreciate it.
Alright guys
it is over.
See you guys next time.
