🥔 Ingredients:

🥔 1 kg (2.2 lbs) potatoes
🥚 2 eggs
🧅 2 onions
🥕 1 carrot
🌿 1 bunch parsley
🌾 150 g (5.3 oz) flour
🧂 Salt and black pepper
🫒 Cooking oil
🧈 Butter

Filling:

🍗 1 chicken breast
🍄 4–5 mushrooms
🧄 5 g (0.2 oz) dried garlic
🌶️ 10 g (0.4 oz) smoked paprika powder
🌿 5 g (0.2 oz) oregano leaves
🥛 200 ml (6.8 fl oz) heavy cream
🧀 150 g (5.3 oz) mozzarella cheese

Sauce:
🥣 2 1 tablespoon sour cream
🧄 1 clove of garlic
🌿 Fresh dill
🧂 Salt and black pepper

👨🍳 Instructions:

Boil potatoes until soft, drain, and mash them into a smooth paste. Sauté an onion and shredded carrots until softened, then mix with the mashed potatoes, parsley, beaten egg, flour, salt, and pepper. Let the potato mixture cool.

To make the filling, sauté an onion with butter, add diced chicken and mushrooms, then season with dried garlic, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour in heavy cream and cook until smooth. Let the filling cool slightly, then mix with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Take a portion of the potato mixture, flatten it into a circle, add the filling, and carefully seal the edges. Shape the potato patties into patties and fry in oil for 7–10 minutes on one side, then flip and fry for another 5–7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Mix the sour cream with minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and pepper. Serve the hot potato patties with the fresh garlic sauce. Enjoy!
