At Marble Polishing Experts, we take care of your natural stone throughout restoration, caulking, and concrete polishing needs.
In this video, we are going to show you our standard process for polishing travertine.
First, we prep all the surrounding areas for protection.
Then, we hone or sand the floor to remove the damage of your stone floor.
Starting with a 220 grit, we move to 400 grit, up to 800, and finish with the 1800 grit.
Now that the damage is removed and the floor is very, very smooth and has great clarity, we polish the floor with a polishing compound.
This will give the floor its final shine and clarity.
Now, we are neutralizing the floor to make sure the stone will remain healthy and we detail the rest of the surrounding.
