Slow living vlog from a quiet village in Norway — a spring walk alone, cooking at home, and thoughts about solitude and being present.
I don’t have a social life in the traditional sense — no meetups, no plans, no crowded weekends. As an introvert, I genuinely enjoy my own company. It allows me to stay present, to listen to the needs of my body and soul, and to simply be.
I feel most alive surrounded by nature and silence. It’s the kind of life I’ve been longing for for as long as I can remember. This video is a collection of quiet moments that often go unnoticed, but deserve to be seen. If you’ve always felt a little too sensitive for this noisy world, this is a place for you.❤️ Thank you so much for being here.

cottage cheese grated cheese minced garlic sour cream or mayonnaise (whichever you prefer) chopped dill (optional)
Mix well and spoon the filling onto the tomato wedges.
Most people I know have full calendars, meetups with friends, coffee dates, plans every weekend.
And that's beautiful, really. I think there's something wonderful about people who know how
to fill their lives with others. I just never quite knew how to do that. Or maybe I knew,
but it always left me more tired than before. For a long time I thought something was wrong with me.
Why didn't I want what everyone else seemed to want? Why did I always feel like I needed to escape?
Even from people I loved. And I used to apologize for it. Sorry I'm just tired,
sorry I'm not very social. As we've been, this way was something to be fixed.
But here, by the fjord and this small quiet village in Norway, I stopped apologizing.
Because I've noticed something. The less noise I have around me, the more I can hear inside me.
My own thoughts, my own needs, what I actually want from this life.
And honestly, I really enjoy my own company. Even in the kitchen. Slicing tomatoes,
mixing basil and cheese. There's something about being with your ingredients.
With the smell, with the simple act of making something. It feels like enough.
No noise, no distraction, just me and this small quiet moment.
And you know what's funny? I connect with more people now than I ever did before.
Just differently. Through these videos, through painting,
through the words I write late at night when the fjord is completely still.
Maybe that's my version of social life. Quiet, slow, but real.
I was walking today and I came across these little white flowers everywhere.
They are one of the first to come out in spring here in Norway.
And I just stopped and stood there for a while. They are so small, so delicate.
You have to be careful where you step. And I thought, this is kind of what it feels like
to finally listen to yourself. Your real self, that quiet inner voice.
It's not loud, it doesn't push, it just waits until you slow down enough to notice it.
We don't pick these flowers, we just enjoy them, we let them be.
I think that's what I'm learning to do with myself too.
Just let myself be without pushing, without proving. Just here.
This spring, watching the first leaves come back, walking alone in the forest,
planting flowers on my veranda, I feel more alive than I have in years.
I'm not lonely, I'm finally present.
If you are someone who's always felt a little too sensitive for this noisy world,
I just want you to know, there's nothing wrong with you.
You might just need a different kind of quiet.
Just like this. A slow day.
Simple food. A walk alone.
The sky from above.
And thank you so much for being here with me.
I hope you enjoyed this. Sending you so, so much love.
And I'll see you soon. Bye.
