HUMONGOUS Michael's $5 grab bags/$3,600 worth for $100 = 97.2% OFF Retail!!! WOW!

Hello my crafty tribe. This is Artsy Maddie. This is my husband Chad, my oldest son Keaton and my youngest son Nathan. Can you see him behind all this. Pretty short. So I have the ultimate grab bag haul. I can't believe how lucky I got. I went to 5 Michael's stores and 4 of them had grab bags left last week so you're gonna see everything. I grabbed 20 bags at 4 different stores and we're gonna share with you. So we are in Canada. I paid $5 Canadian per bag. We'll be sharing the Canadian prices just because that's what we're used to. It's about 25% more than American prices just FYI. Kind of keep that in mind. I know retail like nobody pays retail at Michael's cuz it is just kind of outrageous. We all like to use coupons and wait for sales and stuff like that. So I know you guys know to keep that in mind too that like barely anybody pays full retail but it's just kind of fun to see how much it's all worth. So we'll just kind of try and do this a little bit more fun and not take so long doing it. We'll just kind of shout out the retail prices with you guys. Hold up things that we love or find interesting. Hopefully you guys will have fun doing this too. It'll be like a little family adventure. Alright so we will just dig in and whoever wants to share first. So pick a bag and go for it. Chad's gonna try and keep a tally too of how much everything's worth so we can tell you guys at the end of the video. I found a pumpkin bucket made out of metal and it looks like it retails for $29.99. I've got a skeleton canvas like a skull kind of cartoony canvas and there's two of them. Retails for $6.99. A big flower. It retails for $12. Are they pretty? I tried to get all the sunflowers. The crazy part is there was still stuff left at the store. Like some of it had been there a couple days and I didn't even buy all of it. So it was just wild. I've never seen anything like it. So there's two more of those sunflowers. I found a hat or it's a headband hat for $20 Canadian. Sweet. So hopefully there's lots of Halloween stuff. So I think with all the shipping kind of craziness this year they ended up with a lot of Halloween stuff after the fact and nobody wanted to buy it. So here is a color in tombstone craft. This looks like Crayola that magic clay stuff. This was worth $7.99. A little plastic candy dish kind of thing for retail for $12.99. How much was the coloring thing? Coloring thing was $7.99 and the candy dish was $12.99. Is the clay thing a different thing? It's like a little coffin coloring tombstone thing. So it's on the bottom. Oh okay. $35. That doesn't look right. I think I would pay more than $35 for that. It's pretty heavy. There's a guy in it. There's a little ceramic pumpkin. This is $6.99, $7. This is like a fantasy These are some little party favor bags, style me pretty favor bags for $22.99. I found a dual bucket, $20. I like that. I've never seen anything like this. I'm very excited about all the galvanized metal. I love mixing metals for full. And that's just wrapping paper right? So the great part about that is I can use it as my paper to work on for crafting. That's fantastic. I have wall hangers here. There's two of them. One they both say gather and they are $16.99. $17. There's two of them. There's two paint things. Oh I like that. A black and a purple paint. Kids paints. It's $4 Canadian each. And this is a five pack. There's supposed to be six in them. And they're flameless candles and they were worth $20 retail. This is one of those Halloween house things. They're like the little tiny houses. It's a haunted house. This was $29 Canadian. It even lights up I think. Yeah it does. So this is three. They're all different which is great too. Three different little planner stickers. And these all retailed at $8 each with a little kawaii design. So that will be great for my planner. And more planner stickers for $8. And this is a circular afghan pattern and that was $7.99. Some color shots. Instant fabric color in brown. And I don't see a retail price on that. I would guess that's about $10 probably. $8 or $10. So we've got some color tool spray in deep blue. This is great for flowers, foam, like things that don't normally take spray paint very well. It's kind of like an extra pigmented spray paint. This retailed for $12.99. I found a guest book with a pen. I don't know what this material is. But yeah. It looks like burlap. Yeah burlap. That's what it is. So I got this little Fun Finds gel cling for $4.99. And our little princess embroidery set for, that was $14.99. And some recollection alphabet stickers. Those are usually about $2.99. A painting set that's $15. Make your own turkey plate. This is a cookie cutter and stamp set for $14. So this is a little wooden stem that says favors. Obviously like a bridal, like for your wedding. Retailed for $20. But it's just a nice little wooden sign. So I'll probably be able to paint that or decoupage it or something. So this is a guest book. I'm guessing also for a wedding or special event. This was valued at $54 but is now valued for $32. So $55 down to $5. $12. Okay. So $11.99. So I've got a little Umbra little corkscrew guy and he retailed for $14.99. Nice and heavy metal. And an Olfa cutting wheel that's scalloped. Like it kind of has a wavy edge to it. So that'll be fun to play with. And that retailed for $17.99. I found what they call a platform base, but it looks like it's used for a diorama or a school project. You can set models inside of. It was $17. Valued at $10. Put in here. That's actually pretty cool. So it's $34.99 American and $50 Canadian for another one of the tombstones. So that'll be fun. This guy loves decorating for Halloween. All right. I'm still on my first bag. That's crazy. I'm still on my first bag. So many little things. That's my favorite. It's squishy eyeballs. Um, these are plastic sheets, I guess, for a mold press. So different shapes and stuff. I'm guessing this is just a refill for something, but that's actually pretty cool. I think it's for that. Do you want to talk about that stuff? Have you, did you look at it? I haven't yet. I'll look at it. Sure. How much is that one? It's here. Okay, 120. Yeah. And then how much for the replacement pieces? $50? Yeah, $50. So I have some more of that super spray paint that goes on to foam and flowers and stuff. So it's $12.99 retail. Another one of those balloon arches was worth $30. Various dowels. I've got a little glow staff thing. $2 each. $3. I would say. Various dowels of different sizes. All of that pretty much valued at $2. I'm guessing there's probably like 50 to 100 somewhere in there. I'm pretty excited about those. There's other stuff in there? Yeah. And then these are just some little place cards like for doing a fancy dinner or something. These valued at $10. And some little EVA sports loan stickers valued at $5. Little footballs and soccer balls and basketballs. Well that's for your stove so you can rest your utensils on there. So when you're cooking it doesn't get on your stove top. Beautiful. With an on theme. The spider design. How much is that worth? It is worth $25 Canadian. $25 retail. Crazy. I've got some glitter glue packs. So 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12. 12 of them valued at $14.99. I have spoon rests that are both $12 Canadian. There's two of them that are with a pumpkin. And that's all. And a couple of really neat light bulbs. They kind of have that Edison light bulb feel. Valued at $7. How many of those do you have? Just one. Or sorry it's a set of two. But just one set. This is a little admin. For Nathan. And it is $5. I got this cute little garland set. These little pumpkins. They look like they're easy to do. And that was valued at $14.99. Little jack-o-lanterns. I have spider webs. Those ones you just hang around that are made of I'm guessing some sort of cotton or something. I can't find the price. It might not be on there. That's probably like $5. I'm guessing. I have some ribbon valued at $2 with some nice polka dots on it. I've got some Elmer's glue that's like nice and green and glittery for Halloween. It is $9 retail. Oh my goodness. Oh look at that. Oh my gosh it's so cute. It's like three little milk. What do you call these? Creamers. Like little cream. That's the right term. Anyway, they're adorable. This is going to be so perfect for fall. Valued at $39.99. A bunch of foam stickers. Two bags of them. $8 each. Canadian. Just Halloween themed around various monsters. Oh and there's glitter ones too. What have you got? Oh that's Cricut. Oh sorry. There's three of them. Cricut. Some Cricut vinyl. Iron-on mesh. There's four of them. Cricut vinyl. $22. Cool. And I got a skull candle that says it's color changing. And it's really heavyweight glass. And that's valued at $14.99. This is just shredded paper in Halloween colors for $7 Canadian. These are adorable. Oh my god I love these. Oh my god they're so cute. Little fall buckets and they're kind of a galvanized metal just a little bit darker. So this one is valued at $14.99 and then the little one is $12.99. A little jug and it's $35 retail. Sweet. And I love mixed metal for fall. I just think that's so pretty. Alright so we got a bunch more of those little Halloween glow stick guys. How much were those worth? Do you remember Nathan? $2.99. A bunch of bulletin board liners for $7. There's like one liner, six stickers and four bigger pin-on things. I don't know. There's one more of those glow stick things. Sweet little pumpkin mug. Isn't that cute? With the green handle. Nice ceramic and that was valued at $14.99. And then I have a whole bunch, so five different colors including a glow in the dark paint. And these were all valued at $3.99 each. And that's that bag. Did you empty out that one? Do you want to see what these are? Oh no, there's still some stuff left. Do you want one of these? To do those? Yeah, you can do those. Okay, sure. So some little cute little Halloween signs and these are valued at $6.99. So really nice wood, super cute, home sweet haunted home, boo, hisses and Halloween kisses. And my house is scarier than yours. They're all $7 each? Yeah. And there's three? Three, yeah. A cool little X. My middle name is Xavier. It's the perfect time for X's and O's. You can always find X's and Q's and then just cut off the little Q part. So just some plain weight napkins that are $8. Oh my god, who would pay $8 for plain weight napkins? I've got an N, I've got an F and I've got a Y and they're all bedazzled. And we've got this skull. I don't think, it doesn't have a tag on it but I would imagine this is probably like a $10 item. It's pink. I know, I like it. I found a spider candle but it's not like a nice spider, it's like an actual spider. So that one, oh and there's two of them. It's creepy. It says color changing, I can't wait to see what that does. So we've got some rhinestones for $7.99, a sheet of rhinestones in gold. And this little wedding ring. Oh they can put onto a cup or a mug or something. It's a vinyl sticker. And that retailed at $8.99. And a little Jolie's Boutique little paper ships. Those will be good for scrapbooking. And they were valued at $7.49. And then more of those little foam sports stickers valued at $4.99. I got some cool Halloween candles and they are $5 each. And I have this little patterned fondant roller. So it embosses little polka dots into your fondant. I will probably just use this for clay. Maybe fondant. I don't really like the taste of fondant. How much is that one? This is valued at $24.99. How does Michael get away with these prices? That was like $3 for a rhinestone sticker. One sticker. And a $2 little sports let's go defense ribbon. Do you want to do this? I'll do this flat bag. Do you want to do this one instead? This looks like more fun. This is a colorant tombstone craft kit. With air dried dough included. It's braided to 6 and up. I'm struggling for a price. Probably like $10. Yeah I think it's that Model Magic $7.99. It says on it. Gotta be fast with this. It dries quick. This looks fancy. It says skull. That is worth $99. It looks paintable. Maybe we can turn that into a sugar skull. Oh and it lights up. Sweet. Two colossal carvers. Hey it's another spider. Oh no. It's going to be creepy around here in Halloween. Yeah so two pumpkin carvers $5 each. And I found this bag had three of these galvanized signs. They kind of have this scallopy design to them. And they retailed for... Oh I can't make that out. I can't read it. Maybe that pink sticker? What does that say? $9.49 No because it was on clearance for $20. Let me see. I think it says $49. Nathan has trouble seeing stuff up close. Yeah it's $49.49. That's crazy. I really like them though. I can't wait to do some designs on them. They're really nice. This is just $8. I believe it would be Canadian but it might be American. There's no clarification. This is a little dog in a pumpkin. It's worth $20 and it lights up but the batteries are dead. That's why it's on discount. We got a little broken one. I might be able to salvage this. But it looks like a cute little witch's hat. So it looks like it's in a few pieces but I'll try and salvage it if I can. So we'll say that one's $0. Alright so we're just going to have to revamp here. There's a few more bags on the floor that we're going to grab and we'll be right back. So we're starting off with a couple of buckets. They're big galvanized metal. There's two of them. And they retail for $50. There's another one inside. Oh was there? It's okay. So this is like a little one and this was $35. This is a piece of birch plywood. Very thin. For $30. But it's cracked at the end so I'm going to reduce the value by like 5. I've got a little ring pillow for the little ring bear to carry. And it was $44.99. That's crazy. I've got 2, 4, 6, 7 rolls of paper that a teacher might use in a classroom. It's 4 feet by 12 feet and each of these retail for $13. That's going to be great to craft on because that is like half the price. Maybe like a quarter of the price I pay for the brown paper at Dollar Tree. And here's a little pouch to match that planner stuff and this retailed for $8. Cute little kawaii style. I found a pitcher or it's an old fashioned metal one. And it retailed for $20. Look at these. These are detailed paint brushes. I bet these are worth like at least $10 maybe $15. That's great. I don't know why those would go on clearance. This is a skeleton for $25 retail. Oh he's cute. Looks like his feet are kind of crossed. He's very relaxed. These are flowers. I believe it's the ones that Nathan had. Hey get it off my face. That Nathan had before. Yes they were $12. Pink and nice. So this is a platform base for a school project. Like a kind of a sturdy plastic base. And this retailed for $27. And another one of those Mr. and Mrs. napkin rings. The napkin rings were $22.99. I've got some more of that color shot. That super saturated spray paint at $12.99. And this color is called Wisteria. It looks like a pretty lavender. Almost like the Barry Perry color. The color of the year. Another skeleton. That's quite the foot problem. He is $25. I've got the bride and groom cups for $44.99. And they say bride and groom etched into the glass. I've got two more flowers here. $12.99. It's a small pumpkin. It's like a corn pumpkin. Oh that's cute. Yeah it's $13. I've got a little yellow bucket here for $19.99. Yellow bucket. So if you guys know me well, this is going to go great with all my honey bee stuff. All the yellow I like to decorate with. I've got two more little embroidery sets. Valued at $25.99. This one says with all my heart. And another one of those little princess ones for $14.99. Another spider candle. I can see why those weren't selling now. How many have we found so far? Three. So do you know what's crazy is they had Halloween stuff in come in after Christmas. Like because of all the shipping problems that have been happening. Supply chain. Picking everyone. $14.99. So this is some permanent adhesive vinyl. The brand is Oracle which I've heard is really good. And I don't know the retail on it. I would guess $20, $25. I have a 3D ceramic painting kit. It's $12. I've got two more of those rhinestone packages for $8. I've got a pumpkin. A paintable pumpkin. Isn't that cute? It is $20 retail price. Careful that doesn't get broken. It won't. And these are those little pumpkin lights. So if you guys know those old fashioned Christmas trees. Like ceramic Christmas trees that they've been remaking. They're kind of vintage looking. And then you can put the different little colored plastic bulbs in the holes. And then they shine like they light up like light bulbs. That's what this is. I don't have one of those but maybe I'll get one someday. This is a pumpkin little plate. Pumpkin plate. And it's for $15 retail price. This is a Thanksgiving plate paint kit. It's a turkey plate. Nathan had one of these before. Yeah. These are $10. $15. This was $8. And I got some cookie cutters. Some Halloween cookie cutters. And a crystal ball. And then like a little witches. What do you call it? Like a potion? Like a couple of potions. And then more of those foam stickers. Big pumpkin bowl. That's nice. It says blessed gather thankful. That's beautiful. And it is $43.99. Crazy. Maybe mama can take that one. Yeah I can take it over here. Another galvanized bucket. It's $35. Look at this. I got flat metallic paint. In like kind of a champagne gold color. And this was valued at $12.99. And it's made by Decor. Plaid products. We love plaid products. I'm going to guess. There are these dowels again. I saw one that was $2. This is balsa wood. Oh this is balsa wood? Yeah. So dowels around. And these are just balsa boards. For building out things that are nice and light. I don't see any tags. Probably $2 each. So just a little confetti. A little tissue paper confetti in yellow. And this retailed for $8. So $8 for confetti. Bless you. And a little ribbon curl for a gift. Valued at $5. That is crazy. I don't know. Skeleton candle for $15. Here you can put it up with this one. I can't wait to see all those color change. This is gift wrap. This one is $7.50. And these glittery ones are $11. Another one of those corkscrew guys at $14.99. Oh there's another set of those. I love these. Is this the same one? Yep. Another thing of paint valued at $4 in a nice blue color. What have you got here? More dowels. I wouldn't even price those. It's not even worth it. Oh I can't get this bag open. Oh look at that. I got this big plasticy candy dish sort of thing. Valued at $29.99. These two ones are $14. So another set of those little fall containers. These are only $5.50. There's four poster boards all at $5.50 each. These are mailing boxes. So four of these? Four of these and then two at $5.50 each. And then these don't have a price. But there's four of them. So I'm going to guess like $5.00. It's really fun. Really dense I think. It's almost like they're not foam board but yeah poster board like thick. Probably like I don't know what $8.00 each or $5.00 each. They'll be good for doing signs. Just some plain old pink napkins for $8.00. I don't know who pays $8.00 for napkins. Again Michaels. $8.00 for some teal colored plates. Little plastic plates. There's 50 of them in a pack. And a little crown mold. I saw this through the bag. I couldn't wait to get this. I think this will be cute for doing like Queen Bee stuff. And maybe some Valentine's stuff too. Who knows? You can use them for soap, candy, clay. Anything really will go into silicone. And that's valued at $7.49. Look at that. I peed. I didn't like rip them open or anything but I peed. And this is some more of that icing at $9.99. We got some purple glittery duct tape for $13.00. What have you got Nathan? A little bit more of that stuff. Do you want to switch? You can do some of this little stuff. This is a trio of little buckets. One is $20.00. This one is $15.00. This one is $12.00. They're all autumn themed. A little puppy. A little paintable puppy. Pumpkins. And this is $19.99. And then it looks like a couple more of the dish stuff. So this is valued at $14.99. Super pretty. And then another one of the pumpkin bliss bowls. Alright. Can I pass you this bag? It's another one of those tombstones. There's some more stuff in with it though. One of these flowers. There's three of them this time. All at $12.00. Was there something that took lids? I thought I saw you guys. Yes, the pots. So they have little lids. There were supposed to be three. Oh yeah, three. Sweet. A little bottle opener. That is adorable. It is $15.00. And I can sit onto this thing. And then pop out. Oh, it has a little stand. The other ones don't have a stand. I wonder why. Another turkey plate, $15.00. Some rings. Dollars. Another sunflower paint kit. Ceramic, $12.00. This is neat. This is like a chenille stem. But it's not metallic. It's just like fuzzy yarn material. That's pretty cool. There's some food. Dust? Color dust? How much was this gravestone? $50.00. Another gravestone. $7.00. I feel like my viewers will like this cute page. $5.00 ribbon. Would you pay $5.00 for that? Do you think anybody would pay $5.00 for that? Oh no, I would. I'm a big fan of ribbon. Alright, I've got some beautiful iridescent candles. These would actually be perfect for right now with winter stuff. And these are valued at $19.99 for this set of candles. They're real candles with the wick and everything. Okay, what is this? What is this? Oh, it's like a skull. Oh my goodness. Whatever somebody didn't want. It's like a skull. Oh, it's a Wendigo. Is that what it is? It's a Wendigo. And the teenager is happy. $25.00. There's some collapsible eye needles. Oh, neat. Those are cool for beading. $5.50. Alright, we're almost through everything. We got another one of those little paintable pumpkins. It's a little ceramic. Paint your own design on it. You're gonna see those get painted on my channel for sure. And this gorgeous creamery container. Oh my god, it's full of stuff. No wonder it was so heavy. Some glitter glue, all $5.00. All three of them. Now we have the body. Oh, good. The body and the skull. Wait, no head? It's just a body? Elite design quality. And another one. We got two bling eyeballs. Four squishy eyeballs. We got two bling on a rolls. That are $8.50. I love myself a bling on a roll. This is on here at $40.00 with this container. And it is beautiful. Two big sweet pockets. Pockets. This is the price on the body? Yeah, I know. $19.99. And we got two of these little picture things here. And they are valued at $34.99. More gobble gobble pleats. I know what my niece will be doing for Thanksgiving. Gobble gobble. So three of those. And then we got some little pumpkin salt and pepper shakers. In orange and in white. And these retailed for $6.99 a set. And we have three sets. Alright. Alright you guys. That's our haul. Our amazing haul. And Chad totaled everything up. And it retailed for over $3,600. Which is crazy. Just crazy. I know nobody would ever pay that. But that's crazy. So we figured it out. And we paid 2.8% of that. So $100 for everything. I feel super blessed. Super lucky. This is the luckiest I've ever got. I always feel lucky if I find like one or two sometimes. Just on the odd chance that you walk in on the right day. But now being part of this crafting community. I think it's going to look so beautiful. I'm very excited about it. What's your favorite? My favorite is the bottle opener guy. Yeah. With his little pants. He can open it. With his pants on. He has a nice soft bottom. I thought it would be the tombstones. Because he likes decorating for Halloween. But I was wrong. I found the skull of the Windigo. Which is a mythological beast in northern Ontario. Very cool. I think that the vacuum press or the mold press is the coolest. I'm most excited about seeing that in action. My technology guy. I depend on Chad for everything for technology. So I know he'll help me get it working. Definitely. So stay tuned for that. And thank you guys so much for clicking on this video.
