🚨 BIG DV-2026 UPDATE: The Diversity Visa issuance pause is no longer in effect following the August 28, 2026 court order in Medani v. Trump.

This is one of the most important developments for DV-2026 selectees in months. The U.S. Department of State has now confirmed that the December 2025 Diversity Visa issuance pause is no longer in effect.

But there is a major warning: DV-2026 ends on September 30, 2026.

That means selectees now have only a very short window for interviews, reconsideration of cases previously placed on 221(g), visa issuance, and adjustment of status processing.

In this video, we explain:

• What happened in Medani v. Trump
• How this ruling is different from the Ivanov, Chersak and Saito cases
• What the State Department has now said about the DV issuance pause
• What this means if you already attended your interview
• What to do if you received a 221(g)
• What to do if your interview was cancelled or postponed
• What this means for DV-2026 adjustment-of-status applicants inside the U.S.
• Why September 30 remains the most important deadline
• What DV-2026 winners should be doing right now

Please remember that having the pause lifted does NOT guarantee an interview or visa. Applicants must still qualify, visa numbers must remain available, and processing must be completed within the DV-2026 fiscal-year deadline.
