Explainer videos used to cost me a whole weekend of editing or a few grand for an editor. Now I can go from an idea to a finished explainer video with one AI prompt.
In this video I walk through Golpo AI. It generates whiteboard, chalkboard, and sketch explainer videos from a single prompt or document. I show the full platform first: styles, custom characters, music, duration, and the built-in editor.
Then I install the Golpo plugin in Claude Code and generate videos straight from the terminal via API. I also turn an existing document into a 90-second summary video and remix a finished video into a vertical short. This plugs a real tool into the automated content workflow I covered in my last video. I close with honest notes on what Golpo does well and where it falls short. Drop a comment if you want a deeper dive on the Claude Code side.

I do NOT sell any products of my own. Watch out for scams.
So I've made a lot of explainer videos over the years,
whether for myself, on YouTube,
for social media, for brands.
And unfortunately, what that usually means
is either you're paying an editor a few hundred bucks
for something that's not so nice
or a few grand for something that is nice,
or you have to sit down and spend a whole weekend
just working on graphics
to make this thing actually watchable.
But as you know, we live in a changed world,
and I just made a video
about how AI can now fully automate content.
And what I wanna show you in this video
is one very physical and material embodiment of that,
which is a workflow where you can go from an idea
to a extremely high-quality,
finished, end-to-end explainer video
with one single AI prompt and tool.
And maybe you could do this before,
but there was just this massive quality control issue,
even if you could.
This is genuinely pretty epic.
You've seen it on the screen.
And I wanna show you the exact workflow
that you can use with this tool
to make your explainer videos with AI.
It's gonna be a fun one.
Let's go.
Now, by explainer video,
what I mean is just a video
that illustrates a concept or teaches something.
You see them used on brand websites,
as ads, on social media.
But again, these things were gated
as far as the skills went for a very long time.
And then this company sent me an email about a month ago.
They're from California, also where I'm from.
This is my opinion.
It is really, really good.
So the whole idea of a platform basically
is it just lets you actually create explainer videos
in one prompt with AI.
You don't have to stick to anything together.
You don't have to do super long prompts.
You can if you want.
But really what they've just nailed, I think,
is the quality aspect where the animations are really good
and you can choose from all these different styles
depending on what you wanna create.
So we're gonna jump into my computer.
I wanna show you as a whole how the platform works.
And then we'll jump into a sample workflow
where we go through and create a real video.
But we're not just gonna create the video
inside the platform.
That's why I wanna show you what it looks like first.
We're actually gonna do it inside of Clod code,
which is how I personally use it.
And this ties back to that video I made
about how you can now automate the end-to-end
whole workflow of a content business.
You don't have to touch this platform
to create videos with it.
You just let the brain of the business or Clod
go and create those videos via API for you.
So that's the demo we're gonna get into in a minute.
First, let's jump into the platform.
So this right here is what the interface looks like.
Now, if you wanna add your own narration or script,
you can do so.
I wanna show you the easiest possible flow.
So let's just say, make an introductory video
about game theory and what the field is.
You can attach images as a reference.
We're not gonna do that.
Then you can select between these two modes,
and this is where you can really start to see
if the quality control piece is there,
which you'll see in a minute that it is,
how cool that this can be.
So you can choose between your very standard whiteboard.
I associate this more with like your Khan Academy,
your kind of math or physics videos.
Editorial chalkboard is a little bit more corporate,
technical, whatever it is that you want.
We can scroll down and there's a few more on here as well.
Now under sketch, you can see the same thing.
This is more of that history vibe,
a little more visual in nature.
So it really just depends on what you want.
I'm gonna go for professional clean color right here.
We can see an example of what that looks like,
but I feel like that fits in with the vibe of game theory.
So we're gonna select full post sketch.
Now I can add as many custom instructions as I want.
You can customize it to make it feel like yours.
Also for sake of the demo,
we're not gonna go ahead and do that.
Now, if you have a business
or you have a social media channel with one character
and you want consistency across that character
across all of your videos,
this is where you control that.
So you can add a character right here with a name,
an image of what it looks like,
and then a description as well.
So that's gonna be a borderline necessity
for many of you guys with your business or your content.
We're gonna want color.
I do want music.
Let's go with engaging.
And then we can select the duration.
I'm gonna go ahead and do a four minute video.
And now let's go ahead and click generate.
I will keep that private.
And then as far as the platform goes as a whole,
you can access your historical videos right here.
You can do voice cloning as well.
I would recommend just use it
for that core feature of explainer videos.
And the most common add-ons are gonna be something
like the script mode or narration
or adding, like I said, your own character.
Okay, and here's the video.
I'm gonna let it play for 30 seconds
so you can get an idea for the style.
Stuck in traffic?
Ever wonder why everyone choosing the fastest route
just seems to make things worse for everyone?
Or consider a simple negotiation over a salary.
Every decision you make depends
on what you think the other person will do.
These situations from the mundane
to the monumental are all games.
And there's a field of study dedicated
to understanding their hidden logic.
This is the world of game theory,
the science of strategic interaction.
It's a mathematical framework for analyzing situations
where the outcome for you depends not just on your choices
but on the choices of others.
At its heart are a few simple concepts,
the players, who are the decision makers,
the strategies, which are their possible actions,
and the payoffs, the rewards
or consequences of each outcome.
The goal is to figure out the best move
when everyone else is trying to do the same.
The field truly took off in the 1950s
thanks to mathematician John Nash.
He introduced the idea of a Nash equilibrium,
a stable state where no player can do better
by changing their strategy alone,
assuming everyone else stays the course.
The most famous example is the prisoner's dilemma.
Imagine two suspects are interrogated.
And so that's how to use the platform itself.
But again, I wanna show you the actual workflow
that I think ties into the theme
of automating your content business.
And so that's how to do this all in Clawd.
So let's jump back into my computer
and I'll show you exactly how to do that.
One of the biggest shifts happening
in the creator contract payments
where fans can pay creators straight up
with fewer platforms and processors
sitting in the middle and taking a cut.
Now, this segment is sponsored by Rumble Wallet
and it's built for exactly that.
So Rumble Wallet is a non-custodial wallet.
That means you control access to your funds,
not a bank, not a platform, that's you.
And inside of it, you can buy Bitcoin,
you can hold a stable coin tagged to the US dollar
and even own digital gold backed by real physical gold
all in one app.
And the part that fits this video
is you can use it to tip Rumble creators directly.
So money goes from you to the creator, simple as that.
And getting set up takes minutes.
It connects with MoonPay so you fund it
with a debit card, credit card, or your bank account.
So you can do this, scan the QR code,
hit the link in the description
or comment Rumble under this video.
Then download Rumble Wallet and use code JohnLaw10
for your $10 on the house in US stable coin.
And that is a limited time offer.
So first come first serve
where you can support creators directly
and take control of your money.
That is promo code JohnLaw10.
Terms and conditions do apply.
I'm gonna say I trust this folder.
So we're in the Claude code little portal here.
Now, if you don't know how to use this,
if you don't know what this is,
we've covered it in other videos.
But now what I'm gonna do is go to forward slash plugin.
I'm gonna click enter.
Then under marketplaces right here, I'm gonna click enter.
I'm going to enter golfo-ai forward slash golfo-claude-skill.
Let's click enter.
And now it copied over that repo.
Let's click enter one more time.
I'm going to install for me, click allow.
And so now we can see that the plugin was installed.
We'll do forward slash reload-plugin.
So that golfo-skill was the marketplace.
Now we're gonna enter this command.
That is forward slash plugin,
install golfo at golfo-skill.
So golfo is the plugin, golfo-skill is the marketplace.
Those two commands will set this whole thing up.
Let's go ahead and click enter on that one.
Now I'm gonna jump back into the platform
and click create API key.
Now I've copied that key.
I'm running back into here.
Then I've done forward slash login with the key.
And now I've opened up a new terminal
and now we can just talk to the AI
and use golfo to create videos.
So let's say let's generate a video with golfo
about the top humanoid robot companies.
I'll click enter.
So we can see it's referencing that skill.
It loaded it.
I'm gonna click yes.
And then here's where that API key comes in handy.
So the first time you want to generate a video,
it's gonna ask for it.
I'm going to paste that.
We'll blur it out on the screen.
And now it has authenticated and ready to make the video.
And now we sit back and we let our explainer video
get made for us.
And so you can start to see the natural extension of this
given everything we talk about on the channel.
You can set the agent to run multiple times per day
to create multiple videos autonomously.
You can give them their own social media account
so they can post.
You can monetize that autonomously.
And you can really start to hit that flow
of being able to autonomously run a content business.
Now, of course, it's not that easy
to make these things work.
You need some kind of edge, some branding angle.
You need to put a lot of effort into thinking about
what these videos are that you're creating,
how you distribute them, where you distribute them.
But that's a lot more fun, at least in my opinion,
than actually sitting down and animating this stuff.
And you get to be much more of a CEO type off the bat
versus having to be in the weeds with these videos.
But also if you've never made anything like this before
for your existing business,
then I hope this really lowers that barrier of entry for you
so you can start to use assets like these
to better serve your existing customer base,
to teach people who are on your website
as part of SEO, blogs, or content.
Right, the sky's the limit there.
Okay, here's that video.
Let's go ahead and watch a few seconds.
A new technological race is heating up
and the finish line is in our factories, warehouses,
and maybe even our homes.
We're talking about humanoid robots.
Companies like Boston Dynamics
are retiring their old hydraulic giants
for sleeker, stronger electric versions
of their Atlas robot.
Meanwhile, Figure AI's Androids
are already working shifts at BMW manufacturing plants,
loading car parts onto assembly lines.
And Agility Robotics' Digit is moving totes for Amazon.
Of course, there's Tesla's Optimus,
with Elon Musk promising millions of units
to tackle dangerous and repetitive jobs,
aiming for a price point below a new car.
Why the sudden surge?
It's a perfect storm of advanced AI,
dropping costs, and global labor shortages.
These aren't just single-task machines.
They're general-purpose robots
designed to work in our world, using our tools.
This isn't a distant future.
The transition is happening now,
with billions in new investment.
The big question is no longer if they're coming,
but how quickly they'll reshape everything.
So you can see the quality of the generation there.
Really impressive stuff.
Now, while it's running there,
I wanna open one new tab here.
Let's enter cloud code.
And then I wanna say this.
This is a really fun use case for it.
So summarize this report as a 90-second explainer video.
And let's go to downloads forward slash videos.
And then I've included a demo doc script right there.
Let's give it that.
So we can see it went ahead and found the file.
And now it's going to turn that existing document
into a video.
And that's really, I think,
where you start to hone in on the business use cases here.
Because if you have a lot of documents,
a lot of text, a lot of information
that your prospective clients
or your current customers have to read through,
you can turn them into explainers that are much easier
and more visual to understand.
Let's click enter.
And now let's let it generate.
And so we can see as part of the API connection,
it's uploading that file directly to the GoldBuzz system.
So using that docs file,
it went ahead and finished that generation.
And so now we can see the summary video.
It also went ahead and just saved that to my computer.
So if we jump into Finder and search,
then we can watch the video.
Let's just watch it for a few seconds.
ALO Atomic modular factory-made nuclear reactors
designed to power the AI era.
Headquartered in Austin, Texas,
ALO owns the full technical stack
of core nuclear physics all the way to power plant.
So we can see that kind of an introductory summary field
video based on that existing file.
Pretty cool.
I wanna show you one more thing.
Here's another video I went ahead and created.
Now, if we enter this and we click edit right here,
this is the actual editor inside of the platform.
So if you wanna edit these elements,
you can do so in this mode.
In my experience, you will not often need to nor want to,
but you can, you can do that in the edit mode
or in the video mode.
Just go ahead and click finalize.
And then finally, in terms of library management as well,
you can do more of that within the Cloud Code ecosystem.
So what I can say is list the, let's move this over,
list the last two Polpo videos I made.
And so we can see again, it's loading that skill.
And then here we can see two of those recent videos,
including one of the ones that we just made
to the top humanoid robot company.
Now, what's really cool about that management side
of it inside of Cloud Code is I can say,
take the humanoid robot video
and then make that a vertical short with a marker style.
So I'm taking that existing content,
I'm reformatting it for shorts and I'm effect,
and I'm changing the style.
So if you wanna take one video,
make it in 10 different styles and five different formats,
you can do so.
And you can do that for everything that's created
within the platform through Cloud Code.
Okay, we can see that went ahead and finished generating.
So let's copy the video URL to see the final here.
I'll paste that in and let's watch this
for a few seconds as well.
The world is built for humans.
So humanoids can use our doors.
Three, one X is boldest.
Pushing humanoids into us is reliable and just permanent.
So just skipping through there,
you can see the quality of the animations
and the visuals here, really good stuff.
And it has to research those companies to do so as well.
We got a little figure AI shot out there.
That's fun.
Now a few notes on using this.
You should absolutely use it for what it's really good at.
All those explainer styles that we looked at.
What you absolutely should not try and use it for
is anything outside of that domain.
Anything with photorealistic footage,
anything which requires say a screen share layer.
Considering I do a lot of work in content,
I hope to God they can add that stuff,
but for now that's not there.
So it's really good at what it's really good at,
but the limitation in my view is that whole other world
that it doesn't even try to touch.
But to the team, if you're watching this,
I hope you build that
and I will be your first customer if you do.
