Hello! I haven't spoken to you guys in a really long while and I missed you
and this video is really special to me. It's on a topic that I love to talk about,
so I hope you find this video to be valuable. So today I am going to be sharing my top tips
on how to get your life in order and also to keep it in order, which is kind of more important I
think. The very first thing to get your life in order is to create a daily ritual from morning
till evening and this is going to look different for everyone because everyone has a different
lifestyle. For me, I need to have a cup of coffee in the morning otherwise I just can't get started
with my day. Other people might not care about coffee at all. At this point, I'm pretty sure
you have seen at least 20 morning routines in your life. Morning routines, evening routines,
maybe not so many afternoon routines. I have several on my channel, but people don't really
talk about how to create your own rituals and what makes a good morning and evening ritual.
And so, hello! I have a very special gift for you. This is free. If you go to kindcare.com
slash printouts, you will be able to download all of the printouts I'm going to mention in this video
that really help to not only reset your life, but to also have some sort of system to keep your home
running smoothly. Check that out. I'll leave the link down below and what I actually did is I
printed each page out and I bought a binder. Guys, I don't know why I was so excited to buy this binder
and I placed each printout in these sheet protectors so that I could reuse each page and
you could use a dry erase marker and then wipe it off when you're done. Yeah, I thought that was
really fun. One of the pages you could download and print out is my daily ritual. There is a
sample version and a blank version. And so, if you want to see what my daily ritual looks like, you could
check out the sample version and then you could start ideating what you want to put on your own
daily rituals. Essentially, you want to include a combination of things that need to get done and
also things that you look forward to. This list of rituals don't need to be set in stone. It's meant
to be a flexible guideline of how your day should go. In fact, I purposefully didn't want this to be
a checklist but rather a list of reminders. I don't get the chance to do quiet time every single
morning but it's something I really do want to prioritize doing and I like that it's on my
morning ritual because it's a good reminder for me to work towards that habit. Each part of the day
kind of serves a different purpose. So, in the morning, I'm preparing for the day, kind of taking it
slow. Then, my afternoons are my dedicated time to work and be focused. And then, my evenings are for
when I could rest and reflect and kind of prepare for the next day. It can sound and it may even look
strict on paper but guys, I do a lot of the stuff on my list without even thinking about it anymore
because it became natural instinct to me. If I do absolutely nothing throughout the day but I can
do what's on my list, I feel like I've taken care of my part. My home is a little bit more in order
and I could rest easy. The items I included on my daily ritual are things that keep my life in order
on a daily basis. So, instead of letting everything pile up until you can't even handle, it's good to
have little action items day by day. Once you figure out your routine, print it out, make copies
of it, place it on your fridge, on your mirror, on your wall, anywhere where you could see it and be
reminded of it. And also, you could always adjust it if you realize that certain things or the order
of it isn't to your liking. And once you actually implement this and you don't have to do it perfectly
but even if you try and if you do a little bit, having this routine is going to help you to stay
focused. It's going to boost your productivity. It's going to keep your life more organized and you
don't have to worry about the little things that need to get done because these rituals are going
to help you make those little things get done without you having to think about it. One of the
things that I do in the morning to help keep my life in order is I do the laundry. And I will admit
that I did not know how to properly do the laundry until I got married. And another thing I didn't
know how to tackle when I got married was how to deal with stains. I would spill food on the carpet
or on the couch or I'd splash kimchi on my shirt while I'm cooking or my husband will be on the bed
writing something with his pen and it'll go on the pillow. Whenever this would happen, I would
actually get upset because I didn't know what to do about it and I just thought, okay, it's the end
of the world. I guess I could never wear the shirt again anymore. But allow me to introduce a product
that has saved my life or at least my belongings from stains. Starboost. Starboost. This is going to
be your new best friend. It's going to be your best kept secret for your home. This is a really
unique product because it's kind of like an oxygen bleach or bleach alternative. It works the same way
as a bleach except it doesn't have the toxic chemicals or the harsh bleach scent. This has
bergamot essential oil in it so it's this subtle but uplifting scent. It's also in powdered form
unlike bleach. So what's really cool about this is that you could use it as a laundry boost if your
clothing is a little bit dirtier or if there's some stains. Add your laundry detergent as usual
and then add a scoop of this into your load of laundry for that extra boost. Or you could actually
use this on its own as laundry detergent. So I just add two scoops of this directly to the bottom
of the drum and this works for your top loader or front loader machine. And then I add in the
soiled laundry and begin the cycle. And this product is color safe so you could use this on
your whites or on your darks. And this is really going to whiten your whites and brighten your
darks even if you don't have any stains on them. And if you do have stains on your clothing,
do not fret. Before you put your clothing into the laundry, be sure to check if there are any
stains so that you could pretreat them by either spot cleaning or soaking with Starboost. Basically
you want to do a one-to-one ratio of Starboost and water into the care cup. This is just a silicone
cup that is flexible and you can use this for pouring. I use this to water my plants or to pour
water into my essential oil diffuser every morning. I even use this to sterilize my menstrual
cup. And this has a weighted bottom which keeps it nice and secure on any surface but it's also
so lightweight so you don't have to use like a random drinking mug to prepare your solution just
to remove stains. You could use the care cup. Then using the Starbrush, this is just a stain brush
for fabrics or surfaces. It doesn't snag on clothing but it really helps to brush away those
stains. And for larger tougher stains, maybe a stain that's been on there for a while, one of my
favorite methods is actually to soak it in Starboost. So just get like a bucket or you could do
this in the sink or even just directly in your laundry machine if you have a top loader. Fill it
up with about a gallon of warm water then add three scoops of Starboost. Soak your item of clothing
for about one to six hours. I actually just leave it soaking overnight and then I rinse it out in
the morning. Then I run a cycle of the laundry with Starboost. But honestly you don't have to just
use this for clothing. You could use this on other areas of your home. Keep checking in on the stain
guide at kindcare.com because I plan on expanding that page and adding in way more info to help you
use Starboost better because it is such a versatile product. Also follow us at kindcare on
Instagram and TikTok and Pinterest and Facebook. And with whatever it is in life, it's okay if you
make mistakes. It's okay if you're not doing it perfectly. It's okay if you get some stain on your
shirt. It's fine because we got you and also because it's not about being perfect. It's about
just doing what you can. Starting wherever you are and trying. Here's a little hope in a tin.
It's gonna be okay. The last product I forgot to mention is this clip aka the glow clip. Doesn't
it look cute? This design is supposed to emulate our glow mark icon. And before you get started
with the day, just put this up in your hair and look super cute while you're getting down to
business. That is the idea. No matter how crazy my hair is, I just put it back with this claw clip
and I just feel like I could do everything. So thank you to myself for sponsoring this video.
What? You could shop the entire first collection at kindcare.com. Link down below. And I just want
to take this moment to thank my team. A very small team. Co-sisters Hanbi and Hanbin and Lindsay.
These girls. This brand would not exist without them. I definitely did not create this brand on
my own. It's been birthed from the inspiration and hard work of my entire team. So by the time this
video is up, the entire collection should be out and available for you to purchase. I really have
no more words to say but I hope you enjoy it if you do end up trying it out. We're still a very
small business so please be understanding if we're not perfect. But otherwise, I hope you like
it. I hope you like it. That's all. That's all. Alright. Okay. The next step to getting your life
in order is to take everything that is crowding your headspace out onto paper or onto digital
paper. This morning I happened to have what I call a stress attack. Sometimes I have those moments
where everything I need to do comes screaming at me all at once and I don't know what to do.
And a part of my brain thinks, okay this is impossible. I can't do this. But really once I
start analyzing what I actually need to get done, I realize it is doable. I just couldn't tell when
it was all floating up in my head. So take a piece of blank paper. Brain dump everything that is on
your mind. Just do this for like five to ten minutes. You don't need to figure out your entire
life in one sitting. That's not the point. What I did this morning is I just tried to think about
this next week and then I try to prioritize what I'm going to focus on for today. This is another
printout called today's laundry list of to-do's and you just add the date and add the list of
things that you want to focus on for today and today only. I find myself feeling very paralyzed
and overwhelmed when I'm thinking way too far ahead into the future and it's much more productive
when you're just in the present moment and doing the best you can like right now. Not wasting any
energy worrying about what's going to happen in the future. So I write down my list of tasks with
the most urgent and priority at the top. So for today my main goal was to finish filming this
video and I also wanted to get started working on my paper clutter and I went to go grocery shopping
at the Asian market. It also helps if you set a timer maybe like 20 minutes, 30 minutes, however
long you think it's going to take you. It's just good to have a starting point and an ending point
to your task otherwise you'll maybe never finish or you'll take too much of your time. Focus on
today. Star your most important tasks and just get to it. Get to it. Next tip is to start decluttering.
I'm basing this off of the 31 day decluttering challenge which is another printout. You don't
need to get all this done in 31 days. I mean I'm not even doing that. This is just a great checklist
sorted into different categories on how to start decluttering the items in your home. And decluttering
is not just about throwing things away or even donating things away. To me decluttering is about
becoming more aware of what you own, taking better care of what you own, and also creating more
effective systems. Whether that's organizing your belongings better or to creating a home for these
belongings in a more practical area. What I love about decluttering is that every time I declutter
a category I learn so much whether I'm keeping things or discarding things. I always learn from
my regrets and each and every time it helps me to be more mindful of future purchases. Today I really
wanted to start tackling my paper clutter because I'm guilty of really piling up my paper clutter
quite literally and I've procrastinated this for a really long time. I just think that it's going to
take me like a full-on hour and it may. Fortunately though I only have three hot spots for all of my
paper clutter. I know exactly where all of my paper clutter is it's just it's kind of a mess. So today
I just want to go through all of my paper clutter and I don't like to buy any organizational like
containers until I know what I have and what I need to organize it. So got a ton of paper clutter
in this drawer, got more paper clutter under my bed. We need a better organizing system for our
paper clutter. This is a really really helpful guide if you don't know where to get started.
A lot of people get started with clothing which I already did and then move on to your kitchen and
then to your books which by the way I didn't include books in the paper clutter. I consider
it more in the entertainment category. Just take it one day at a time. Even set a timer for this
because sometimes you can have that all or nothing mindset and go way too ham and it will take you
way longer than it should. And I always feel so refreshed once I finally tackle these areas so
I'm really excited because this one's been a long time coming. Okay it is nearing the end of the day
as you can tell by the lighting and I am just so amazed by how much I got done today. When I woke
up this morning I truly didn't think I could get myself to film this video. I was just really
overwhelmed and I didn't think I could do it but I'm here to say you can. You got this. My last
priority task for the day was to go grocery shopping because one of the things that I think
is very telling of the current state of my life is my diet. Lately I've been eating out a little bit
more. When I'm eating a lot more takeout and fast processed food it usually means that I am rushed
and I'm not really taking care of my health. Go grocery shopping or use what you have in your
fridge. For me I don't have much so I'm going to go grocery shopping with my husband, make myself
a hearty delicious dinner to end off my day. I'm quite picky when it comes to meals I cook at home
because I have a handful of criterias. First of all it has to be easy, it has to be delicious,
and it has to be somewhat healthy. I'm not too strict as to what I can and cannot eat in my diet
but overall it has to feel soothing to my body. It needs to be fairly affordable at least more
affordable than if I were to eat out and what's the last criteria I'm just trying to make five
yeah but I think that's about it. So with all that in mind I really wanted to try cooking
soondubu today. It's one of those easy repeatable meals. I really like those go-to meals that I could
rely on so I don't have to think about it. Whatever those meals are for you maybe you don't know what
the heck soondubu is but maybe you love spaghetti. Having these go-to meals on your menu is what's
going to make life so much more easier and you don't have to stress out about what to eat for
the day. I'm gonna take a stab at the soondubu. I don't know why I said that. That sounds so
good right now. Don't neglect your body and what you put in it. This is going to be your fuel
and it's probably going to be part of your happiness for the day. Learn a new meal if you
have to. I personally love learning like a go-to meal and I think soondubu might be one of those
go-to meals and I don't think there's a better way to end off a day besides eating a really good
meal. And bonus points if it's with a loved one but even if it's just by yourself with some Netflix
that's fine. Alright and the very very last tip that I wanted to leave you guys off on is to take
15 minutes for yourself. Maybe even just five minutes for yourself. I really try to do this
every single day because without it you know I don't get to really pause. When I just knock out
and then repeat the cycle again and again it's really hard for me to recenter myself and to
reflect and process my day. I know a lot of this video has been do do do go go go be productive
but at the same time if you're just not even ready for that it's okay. Take some time for yourself.
Take that breather that you need. For me you know I'm gonna fold the laundry because I still need
to do that but as I do that I'm going to do it in silence. Sometimes I love to listen to a podcast
or music but sometimes I just like to do it all in silence and to kind of tune out for a bit. I
sometimes need that mental break from any sort of stimulation and just doing that mundane task.
I've also really been enjoying playing with my cat for 15 minutes. It's a really good way to kind of
tune out and not be on my phone or on social media and I also really like to just talk with
my husband before bed. Just kind of catch up with what how we're doing. So guys don't forget about
taking care of yourself. Be kind to yourself. Stay hydrated. I'm gonna do these things. I hope you
have a great rest of your day. I'm gonna sign off now. I'm gonna rest now. I'm gonna peace out. I'll
see you guys soon. Check out kindcare.com. Follow us at kindcare. Alright, bye!
