How I turned content creation into a 10+Year Career! | & What is a Cultural Marketing Director?

It's not even that I am a campaign manager or have been. I've been a campaign manager,
creator outsourcer, cultural marketing director, head of content. I've done a lot of different job
positions in the last 10 years that I never ever ever thought were possible. The things that I
loved growing up were yearbooks, like anything involving journalism of any sort. I always wanted
to be the editor in charge at Vibe magazine. That was what I wanted to do when I was younger.
When I got into content creation, just basically stumbled upon it back in 2009 when it wasn't a
thing. That was the time that I did not realize was going to help me so much now. Doing something
that you love is naturally going to provide opportunities for you to generate an income
or create a living for yourself based off of how well you do what you love.
I always come to things with a realistic approach. It may not be in the softest manner. It may not be
in a hold your hand manner. And that is the number one thing that has made me be able to stay right
here where I am. Wherever you think that is is what you think. I define success in my own way
and me being able to, after over 10 years, still waking up every single day on my own accord,
making my own agenda, my own decisions. Thankful to God, of course. But being in that type of
position, know it is not easy, but I'm only here because I am doing exactly what I love.
Making content and understanding that this piece of content has to get somewhere
is the number one thing that impresses people, impresses business owners, impresses content
creators themselves when talking about one thing, post-marketing. I think that my knowledge of
post-marketing is what has opened up a lot of opportunities because it's the simple understanding
of how does this piece of content, and we're not saying just video. It can be an article on a
website, anything. How does this piece of content get to who it needs to get to? I did mention to
you guys a while back that I spent a cool two and a half years learning a lot about SEO and
search optimization, especially for here on YouTube. I'm very focused with YouTube only.
That's my mastered platform. I do not know anything else about everything else, and I
always say that I'm very stern in that. I love YouTube. I have taken my life to learn YouTube.
I did take that time to learn the SEO, and what I feel like is that is what increased my business
for me to be able to go from creator, outsourcer, and campaign manager to cultural marketing
director. The difference with these two different things are that you're showing somebody how to
market something to a specific group of people. That's who I am as a person, and it's very,
very clear when people or clients see my personal socials. They see that I am a very targeted person.
I'm only talking to a specific type of person, and within that, it builds so much loyalty that's
undeniable. What I try to stress to my clients or what I do stress to them, and they get it,
is that the loyalty is what we're all missing. We're missing the brand marketing in the aspect of
brand loyalty, brand awareness, just keeping people's eyes in the know of what your brand is.
Everyone is so focused on a product drop that we have lost sight of how do we get the customer
to tell someone else about it? How do we get the customer to buy it again, and not just buy it a
year from now, but make it a repeat purchase? How do I get them to make this a staple inside of their
everyday life? That is cultural marketing to me. Understanding that I'm talking to a certain
targeted audience, and I know how to talk to those people. That is what I've been the most successful
in. That's my highest paying clients because they are looking for something that's targeted.
Now, how do you get to this type of point? Because like I told you, you can do it too.
I told you a little bit about my backstory. I started very long ago, so my knowledge and the
way that I've been able to live my life, I've been able to learn a lot and not have to go to college
for it, basically. My real life experiences are what make me be able to, quote unquote,
sell myself to people because it's very evident that I've done it. I did it. It's there. The proof
is in the pudding, and you're going to get the results that you need. If you need any references,
I got that for you. How are you going to do it? Subscribe to my memberships.
