On August 1st, I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism.
What a pulmonary embolism is, it is a blood clot in your lung.
How did this happen? From deep vein thrombosis.
What's deep vein thrombosis?
Deep vein thrombosis is when you have a blood clot in your leg,
and it travels up to your leg.
You get the pulmonary embolism from that blood clot traveling up your leg
and getting stuck inside of your lung.
Don't worry, Jesus got me.
Y'all already know the Lord love me, okay?
And it is small.
We are doing things and taking the precautions needed to make sure that this goes away.
The point of this video is because I want to share this journey with you all.
As you see, I've been pregnant for 11 million years.
And with that back to back, we can't act like things were not going to happen.
Where I messed up is that I got lazy.
I got extremely lazy.
And for some reason, I feel like it shows in my content as well.
I feel like I've just been all over the place,
haven't been consistent with anything, haven't been focusing,
but worried about everything that I have no control over.
And I feel like with my health, it really showed me exactly that.
So what I'm doing now is I'm on my second month of Eliquis.
Eliquis is a blood thinning medication.
And I'm gonna be honest, I really don't like it.
I don't like the way that the Eliquis makes me feel.
I take it twice a day, 7am, 7pm.
And it's just like my body just gets this weird rush feeling.
I guess it's like the process of the blood thinning or something.
I don't know.
I get headaches.
I'm a little more clumsier and I bruise much easier.
I'm also going to the doctor for quite a few other things
because we really want to see what the source of all this is.
I mentioned before in videos that I often talk a little too fast
or I talk like I'm out of breath often.
And I'm literally just started a conversation.
Yeah, so I'm finally checking out and seeing what that is all about.
I have a Cebacor or somebody like that for that, which is a steroid inhaler.
I'm supposed to be using twice a day, but to be honest with you,
I'm not really feeling the using a steroid thing
because it's going to literally strip my gums
and I probably won't have teeth in the coming years.
And I just feel like there could be a lot of other things I could be doing.
I do have the albuterol, so I'm taking that daily.
There are just a couple of other things
that I'm trying to figure out when it comes to my health.
The point of this video is that it doesn't really matter how young we are.
It all matters about our lifestyle and what we're really out here doing.
And if you're really not out here taking care of yourself,
if you're really not out here, you know, exercising.
I was doing a lot of exercising, a lot of walking.
I was very physical.
And I can't admit for about the last year and a half,
last two years, maybe two pregnancies, I've sat a lot more.
So what I'm doing now is I'm just really taking control of life again.
I'm really realizing that if you don't pay attention,
things can escalate extremely quickly and it can really be out of your control.
So I'm making this video because I really do love to help people.
Somewhere along the way, I just stopped caring about helping people.
I thought no one wanted to be helped.
I thought nobody cared.
And in all reality, no one ever said they didn't.
I just thought that what I was doing wasn't enough.
And it's more than enough.
It has always been more than enough.
And I want you to know that, too.
Every single thing that you're doing is more than enough.
You got to chill out because if you don't chill out,
things will escalate really quickly.
But yeah, I'm sorry, y'all.
If you're still here, if you've been here for years, thank you.
I love you so much.
God bless.
Thank you for staying.
Keep staying.
