Looking for the best things to do in Grenada? 🇬🇩 Here are 5 experiences you NEED to add to your Grenada itinerary! 🌴
Grenada keeps surprising me every time I visit. This time I’m exploring Mount Carmel Falls, Grand Anse Beach, Mount Frederick, Granny Thang and Junction Club — from waterfalls and incredible views to local experiences and nightlife.
If you’re planning a Grenada vacation or Caribbean trip, this travel vlog will show you another side of the Spice Island. 👀🔥
Grenada is presented as an underrated Caribbean gem offering a blend of authentic culture, lush nature, and stunning coastlines. From the lively energy of local Friday night gatherings to the serenity of volcanic lakes and hidden waterfalls, the island provides a welcoming atmosphere and diverse experiences for travelers.
This might be one of the most underrated islands in the entire Caribbean.
We're talking about a waterfall most tourists completely miss, a volcanic crater lake surrounded
by a rainforest, one of the best beaches I've ever stood on and a Friday night experience
that felt nothing like a tourist trap.
Grenada surprised us at every single turn.
Here are 5 best things to do in Grenada.
Let's get into it.
Junction is the place on a Friday night, packed, lively and completely authentic.
Mostly Grenadian locals fill in every corner, but tourists are welcome.
Music going all night, this is where Grenadians come to have a good time and so did we.
This is Fort Frederick, 360 views over St. Georges and the harbour, the coastline, built
by the French and taken by the British.
In 1983, the ardors that sparked Grenada's revolution came right from here.
One spot, centuries of history.
Alright, so we're here checking out Fort Frederick.
Things to do in Grenada.
The view from this place is amazing.
Look at this view.
Let me stand up on this thing.
Look at this view behind me, wow.
It's so interesting to see different stuff.
Travelling, I'd recommend you guys travel more often, you learn so much stuff.
You see things that you only hear of, you know, because a lot of these things, a lot
of countries, if you don't visit them, you'll never know what it's really like.
Reading and watching things on social media doesn't give you an accurate depiction of
what a country has to offer.
And you can come get yourself some cinnamon, spices, nutmeg spray.
And you get a best price for 20 US.
This is a nutmeg syrup.
Grenada is the only place you could get this.
I think I'd probably get this.
Yeah, the nutmeg syrup?
Most people never make it to Granitang National Park, and that's a mistake.
Volcanic crater lake, misty rainforest, incredible views, and within minutes, a guy placed a
banana in my hand and a monkey climbed straight on it.
We were not ready.
We're here at this lake.
What do you say, what kind of lake is this, Michael?
Yeah, so this is a crater lake.
Literally, it's the remnants of a volcano.
Yeah, it's called Granitang Lake in Grenada here.
It's one of the popular spots you have to visit if you come to Grenada.
There's a story that it's bottomless.
If you were to go under, you can end up in the ocean, actually.
Oh, yeah?
Anybody ever test it?
I'm not sure.
If you want to try, you probably can get as much as you can see.
Right?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's pretty interesting.
Yeah, pretty cool, pretty cool.
One of the things to do in Grenada that was highly recommended, we have to come to the beach.
We just arrived at Granance Beach.
It looks so beautiful.
Beautiful.
So beautiful.
All right, let's walk and go check it out.
Are you excited, Shana?
I'm so excited.
The water looks clear.
The sand is silky.
Everything is...
I know.
Turquoise.
Dream.
It's like a boat color.
So beautiful.
Oh, my gosh.
The video is not even doing it justice.
In person, this looks way better.
Wow.
Oh, my gosh.
You definitely have to check out the beach in Grenada.
Make the dream work.
We're never giving up, right?
Build this at the front to protect it.
It keeps going down.
We're not giving up.
Right?
What kind of drink?
What kind of drink I want?
You're going to order me a drink?
Respect, respect.
Thank you, sir.
Awesome, guys.
Is it strong enough?
No.
No, no, no, no.
All right.
We can touch.
All right.
Yo, the man Axel said it's strong enough.
Holy Grenada.
Right at the entrance, there's a little bar.
Drinks, cigars, lighters, papers, local goods, great prices.
Big shout out to Karian from Ambassador Beach Bar for putting us on.
How was your day?
Good.
How was your day?
Good, good.
Thanks.
I happened to run into one of the only international dancers in Grenada.
I'm going to go link him and see if he can show us some of his moves.
Welcome to Grenada, man.
How come?
How could I welcome you again?
Welcome to Grenada.
This is Shawn, the dancer.
One of the only international dancers on the island.
You don't know.
We travel to so many countries.
And we are doing it from way there.
Up, outside.
Tell us some of the reasons why people should visit Grenada.
Grenada.
One of the reasons why you should visit Grenada is because Grenada is home away from home.
A lot of people don't understand.
But you have to come.
People try to tell people about foreign.
And then they go foreign.
You have to go foreign to experience foreign.
So Grenada.
You have to come to Grenada to experience Grenada.
But Grenada is the land of spice.
Where everything nice.
And believe me, man.
You see the people there.
Oi.
Grenada is home, man.
I don't know how to say it again.
I know, man.
I know that.
I feel the love, man.
Nice.
You come here and believe me.
Everybody is your brother and sister.
Where you have never met before.
Facts.
You ever go to a country and you meet people where your brother and sister you have never
met before?
No, like you.
Like you and me.
Grenada, bro.
You are my brother.
As you come out of the car, you embrace it.
You are my big brother, man.
I see you in my dreams.
Yeah, man.
Exactly.
Yeah.
I saw the thing going in Grenada.
I want everybody to come down and experience Grenada.
Please.
Don't think we are just a little dot on the island.
You know, we think just little.
Here, you get everything in abundance.
You get love.
You get unity.
You get positive vibes.
You get culture.
You get everything.
So, you don't have to come to Grenada.
All right.
You have a show with some of the dancers, man.
Big dancers, man.
All right.
Argument.
This is Mount Camel Falls.
You literally have to walk through somebody's backyard.
You have to walk through somebody's yard to get there.
It's private property.
So, they are charging an entry fee.
It's 5 EC or $2 US.
This is the guy who collected our entry fee.
Super friendly.
Made us feel welcome right away.
Hello.
Hey.
Talk to the child.
Yeah.
Make sure to bring proper shoes.
From here, it's a quick 10-minute hike in.
Easy enough, but it's definitely worth it.
Okay.
Now that we've gone up the hill, we have to go down the hill.
And then we should be there because I hear water.
I have to be careful.
You see the water.
Oh.
Yeah.
I almost dropped.
And then you turn the corner, and oh my gosh.
The falls just open up in front of you.
The sound, the mist, the greenery surrounding it.
We were completely speechless.
Like genuinely stopped in our tracks.
Things to do in Grenada.
We're checking out Mount Camel Falls.
Right in the background here.
It's like a hidden gem.
So beautiful.
We jumped in, and the water was so cool and refreshing.
After that hike, absolute perfection.
We did not want to get out.
The guy at the entrance had fresh coconut and sugarcane for sale.
How's the sugarcane, General?
Is the sugarcane sweet?
Yeah.
But the jelly is not that nice.
This is the jelly.
Harder.
This one is harder, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Respecting the cause.
The sugarcane is sweet, man.
