Hey everyone this is Bob with Marble Polishing Experts. Here we are today at the client's house
here and we are honing and polishing, well actually we're not polishing it, we are just leaving
the granite at a satin finish. So this is black granite as you guys can see
and the first process is to take the surface of the granite off because that's where all
the problems are, all the kind of spots that have appeared on this granite are. So we need
to resurface it. So first we need to hone it, get rid of all those spots and then we need to go
through the grits and give this lady a satin finish and then we're going to seal it with this
awesome sealer. So yeah I just wanted to let you guys know about this. I'm going to do some close-up
now so you guys can actually look at the granite itself. Unfortunately I've prepped this area
and I'm not sure if you're going to be able to see all the spots but at least you can see what
we do. This is how somebody should properly hone and polish a granite, especially black granite
which is really hard to do. Yeah if you guys have any questions please ask them below.
All right you guys as you can see I've started to hone the granite on this side. Of course we've
done a heck of a job protecting the surrounding areas but you know that's what it's going to
look like when we're done. Maybe a little bit darker, a little bit shinier and this is the
area where I've honed so you can see exactly where I am and the whole counter is more or less
that big. Let's see here.
So what you guys are looking at here is the finished product.
All the spots were gone. The client was super happy. We were happy as well and it looked
absolutely great. If you guys need any marble, soapstone, limestone, travertine, granite polished,
honed, sealed, please let us know. Thank you for watching.
