Hi there, traders. This is Brad Gilbert
with today's trading action. All right. Now,
today, the focus is largely going
to be on sterling employment numbers. Okay. Now,
the numbers, well, they've been getting a little bit worse,
but it hasn't stopped the central bank
from coming into an interest rate hiking situation, right?
So stronger numbers aren't going
to have much of a big impact,
but really weak employment numbers will turn this hiking scenario
probability down somewhat and that's going to lead
to a lower sterling right so there's no need to go
sort of looking around the market looking
for trouble this is the number it's followed up with
the um you know the german
or the sorry the european zew numbers not a high hitting number
but sentiment you know what goes a long way at the moment
so what i would be doing is is having
a look at your sterling crosses on the hourly
and daily and see if you can get some confluence
with the hourly and daily time frame.
For those traders looking for a shortcut,
you can always come back straight into the Sterling tab
and get the low down on what's lining up there.
Sterling Aussie looks good for a move topside.
As I just said, those stronger Sterling numbers,
the strong numbers and the hike is already factored in,
so it will go up, but it's not going to go up far.
If those numbers were terrible, it would go down more, right?
But what we're seeing at the moment is strong Sterling,
dominating euro and aussie and uh that's pretty much it for now
so check this out closer to the
time and then keep an eye on the numbers keep
an eye on your charts isolate the instruments not
only with good direction
but with good trend lines okay that's the smart thing to be doing
all right guys that's it for me it's uh it's
a nice sort of market conditions in the sense of
there's no hectic sort of screaming out about the yields
and they are a little bit lower they're sort of
jumping around a little bit,
but equity indices are having a pretty good run of it. Let's just
see what's going on here at the moment.
It looks like a risk on profiles lining up, but you know
what? It's probably still a little bit early from the New York close.
We'll know a bit more in the
next couple of hours. All right, guys, that's it for me.
Have a good one. All the best. Cheerio.
