Family Beach Trip - Pensacola 2023

Hello and welcome to Homestead Happy Mama. It has been a while since I have posted a video. We just got back from a weekend getaway. We went to Pensacola, Florida and we rented this adorable little cabin and it's on a lake and it's so cute. It's a tiny cabin and we were here for three days and it was much needed. I'm going to show you all the inside. So right when you walk in, here is the sitting area. It's very small but it's also big enough for our family of six. There is a loft upstairs and all four of our boys slept up there. There's plenty of room. Very, very cute. Give me that. He climbed up here. I doubt he can fit like up here. It's so cute, like so tiny but it's so perfect. I mean we have plenty of room. He has books. He's too heavy. So sweet. I know. Those are decorations. You ready to go to the beach? Maybe you could be a builder one. This was my first time ever seeing something like this but the mirror was touch screen and it turned the lights on and off which was really cool. I love how they have everything decorated. Everything's very simple. This sweet little picture on the wall is of the beach and it says a good day for a good day. Here is the kitchen. It's pretty spacious and it has all new appliances which I loved. Here's the living room area and that is it. The boys loved this right here. Skipping rocks and they fed turtles and ducks and geese and they had so much fun right here. They were so excited. Oh that's so cool. I see him. He's trying to eat your rocks. Oh there he is. Oh he's coming. He's coming to you. Not there yet. JoJo we're at the beach. This is so long. Oh don't throw sand Bubba. Did you know that Nani and Pawpaw got married on the beach? Really? Yep. Yeah get some bread. Oh my gosh. Hey. Blood snake. Did they just like fly over here? Yes. They didn't even let the baby get in. Get the baby. Get the warm baby. Get it baby. Go get him baby. I don't know where they get them. The turtle just got that one. Oh turtle. The turtle got that one. He's like oh no. The turtle is going to eat me. Hey get that big bucket. Bring it over here. What's it feel like? I have never been this close to dolphins in my life that close in swimming distance. It was so beautiful and so neat to see all these dolphins. There was probably about five or six of them swimming very very close to us. So after our first day on the beach we got a bite to eat and we brought the boys to go go cart riding. I always want to say golf cart but it's a go cart. It looks like little man had fun. He was so tired though bless his heart. All right y'all let go. Pass that up here boy. Dad I'm gonna try this one. No that's dad's. Toasted coconut. I don't want that one. I'll try it. I love you. Oh my god. Is it good? Oh I thought you're gonna throw it out the window. Is that good? Dunkin Donuts. Okay so after our first taste of Dunkin Donuts we headed for the beach for our second day. We wanted to try a different location so we checked out Perdido Beach and it was so much more less crowded. We loved the privacy. It was great. I highly recommend this beach. So yesterday I wore a dress and it was like right above my knees and my whole like upper part of my back my arms my legs are like completely fried. It's so bad like I didn't sleep good last night. So today my husband let me borrow his long sleeve fishing shirt and let me tell you I have no shame. I have learned a valuable lesson on the importance of sunscreen and I even used some yesterday but like I have a hat on like I'm going all out with the protection so and I have a long dress on to cover this up. Mom ain't playing today. We ain't playing with no sun. Really? So yesterday we were at a different beach and there was this rescue team of lifeguards. They were there and we got to see them like do their daily workouts. It was so cool. So the boys they decided to do it at this beach. I'm gonna show you what they're doing. Hold on. Go Gina! Go Justin! Go! Then they run back and they swim. Dude we need to come to that one next time. Okay so we're at Lambert's Cafe and the boys are calling it the Yeet Cafe because when you throw something you're yeeting it. It's like a boy thing. Here we are home of the Throat Rolls. Dad can I sit by you? Yeah I might as well. The spill bar is spilling. Oh that thing's hot. What you got daddy? Chicken. You got tuna dumplings, mashed potatoes, corn. I have some fried chicken. What you got? Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes. That's good. The audio wasn't coming through but I was asking them what they thought about Lambert's Cafe and they thought it was funny that the rolls you know were being thrown at them and they were hot and they were saying hot rolls hot rolls and I was just sharing that we got some ice cream from Chick-fil-a and I got a milkshake. We had lots of sunshine but on the way home the sky looked like it was about to explode and I love when this happens when you can actually see the rain falling down. I was a little creeped out and finally it did bust. It did but we had plenty of sunshine and the rain just all of it felt so good. The boys were exhausted. I was exhausted. You can see a little one on the right was he was playing pretend but thank y'all so much for watching. I am so sorry it took this long to get a new video out. We have been so busy but I promise this summer will be different. I will have more videos coming your way.
