Obviously you've had so much support. What does it mean to see, not only from random strangers
online, but also in the ballroom? People are showing up for you every single week.
Yeah, it's crazy. It's crazy. The ballroom gets, the ballroom is, I mean, first off,
there's something about the acoustics in there and the way that people are so excited. I mean,
everyone that's in the ballroom is so excited to be there. They're all just diehard fans.
You never really understand the scale of the show. Of course, I know it's massive,
and I know it touches culture all over America, and it's such a beautiful show.
But when you're actually in it, I'm not backstage thinking like, wow,
six million, 10 million people are going to see this dance I'm about to do.
What has been the thing that has surprised you most about getting to see how
the sausage gets made, essentially?
The camera operators are legit professional athletes in their own right, because you got,
I mean, the viewer sees great camera work around the dance, but there's a guy who is holding a
heavy camera running around and getting certain angles. I mean, I've seen this dude run backwards
upstairs. It's unbelievable. Sometimes my eye just catches to the camera guys. I'm like,
how are they doing this? They're so smooth. I mean, that's just one part of a show that has
so many elements, but literally everyone on the show is the best at what they do,
and that's what makes it so successful.
