One month before marrying Olympic pole vault champion Mondo Duplantis, Desiré Inglander invited Vogue Scandinavia inside one of the final fittings for her custom wedding gown. In this exclusive video, Inglander visits Swedish couture designer Ida Lanto for a last look at the dress she would ultimately wear down the aisle in Cannes – inspired by the iconic wedding gown worn by Grace Kelly.

Hey, Boom Scandinavia! Welcome in! Be quiet! My son! I didn't want to look back at this in 10 years and not want it. I think Ida did a great job. So we started the process 7-8 months ago. It was most important to me to work with somebody I've worked with before. And I think that I really wanted something from the country. I'm from Sweden. And it just means a lot since we're getting married in the south of France to bring the Swedish vibes into the wedding as well. So wearing the dress is such an honor from you. Oh my god. I'm like sweating. I was like take this off. So we tried it earlier and I was like can you take the boulevard off because I'm sweating and I don't want to ruin it for the wedding. And I'm nervous right now. I'm like just to show you guys. What do you think? Oh, he's crying. He's crying. I hope he cries. No, it's beautiful since we're... Don't cry! I can't talk. Like marrying your soulmate is just so... I'm going to cry. Get it out now. Yeah, the wedding is going to be terrible. Emily, my makeup artist, is going to have to work really hard with waterproof mascara. No, but it's going to be amazing and I think I really did the dress for myself and to feel beautiful and I know that if he knows that I feel beautiful, he will think so as well. I think it's even better than I ever could imagine. Because I think what I always had as a little girl, I always dreamed of being married as a little princess. I feel like a princess and I think the feeling, it's more a feeling than it's a look also for me. So I didn't want to make it too crazy because it's still crazy but for me it's more about a feeling rather than a look outward. So I think, yeah, I mean it's perfect for my dream. I'm really nervous for the first look. I think it takes a lot off the nerves of walking down the aisle. So I think it's a good thing to do. What do you guys think? You have your last say. Speak now.
