I’m officially married!!! We wanted to document our wedding day in a way that made you feel like you were right there with us, experiencing all the little moments alongside us. It was such a special day filled with so much love, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.
A bride reflects on the emotional journey of her wedding day, moving from pre-wedding anxiety to a state of relief and joy. Surrounded by her mother, best friends, and family, she celebrates her union with her partner through a heartfelt ceremony filled with personal vows and a touching message from her father.
I can't believe the day is finally here.
There was a lot of anxiety leading up to this day.
Thinking of all the little details,
all the people who are coming out of their way to show up for us.
It was a lot for me to process.
I try to let go of everything and truly soak in every minute of the day
and somehow the morning felt so much calmer than I imagined.
The bride is getting ready!
Having my mom and best friends with me truly made all the difference.
Without them, I wouldn't have been able to put on my dress.
I think the best part of this whole wedding day
was just how much love we felt from our friends and family.
Having my best friends help me get ready,
sharing these special moments with my mom,
and looking around and seeing everyone we love in one place.
That's what made this day so special.
As someone who didn't want a wedding,
I am so relieved we decided to have one.
The lighting there is perfect.
We've been taking photos for so long, this is so awkward.
Don't look at Kim, okay?
Don't look at me, don't look at me, I'm gonna cry.
Okay, don't look at each other.
Don't look at me!
Tell me if I'm in your frame.
She's snatched.
No, you're good.
She's snatched.
Dang.
She's a bride now.
You're tired already.
I'm so tired.
I'm exhausted.
You look beautiful, though.
Exactly!
Should I close my jacket?
You can make the call when you're ready, sis.
Incredibly lucky to know both of you.
And today, we're lucky enough to watch you choose each other,
again, and for the rest of your lives.
I promise to create a life where you always feel safe to be yourself,
where you never have to question how deeply you are loved.
Thank you for choosing me.
I love you dearly,
and I can't wait to spend the rest of time with you.
I do.
By the power vested in me,
I now pronounce you husband and wife.
You may now kiss the bride.
It's good to see them.
Yeah.
I was flashing everyone's door.
And it flashed.
Also your dress.
Yeah.
How do you feel?
I feel relieved.
All the nerves, it's finally gone.
Oh my god, it's so much taller.
We would like to invite the bride's father.
In Korea, we have a saying,
a child is so precious that it wouldn't hurt
even if you put them in your eyes.
30 years ago, when Michelle was born,
I put her right into my eyes.
I held her in my eyes for 30 years,
but you have to hold her in yours for at least 60 years.
Please take good care of our Michelle.
Remember to support each other.
I wish you both a life full of happiness and smiles.
Thank you so much.
