The story is a couple of months old. Actually it's from the month of June. Basically, Dunkin Donuts is apparently going to come back to Canada. In fact it will begin in Toronto and Montreal. Which district it will open in, we don't know. If they do return, that would be awesome.
Here's the article from MTL Blog that we used.
https://www.mtlblog.com/dunkin-donuts-canada-locations-montreal-opening
The recording has started.
Well now.
Always remember.
Super Dave Bistou of the tall, white, gothic, vampire, alien.
Coming to you from Tim Hortons.
This time, back again at Dessert Street.
Highway 13.
Between Samson and Notre Dame.
But the, what's it called again?
The St. Dorothy Mall runs even more north than Notre Dame.
Almost to the point of St. Martin.
But it's not quite there yet.
Here in the area of St. Dorothy Laval.
Super Dave Bistou of Charmaine Laval.
So.
Seems to me that Dunkin' Donuts is going to make a comeback.
To Canada.
And the first place they're going to open up again, Montreal.
Does that include Laval area?
We're not sure.
But we do know that they're opening here in the province of Quebec.
Well.
Maybe it's an answer to Tim Hortons only hiring Indian people.
Well, they were for a while.
This one is not.
And there's another one, the one in Carrefour.
Curie-Lebel in Carrefour is also Indian.
They don't just hire Indian.
Oops.
Maybe those people are getting caught.
I don't know.
But for a while it was happening.
And so Dunkin' Donuts is returning.
In answer to the stupidity of Tim Hortons.
But anyways.
That story isn't written here.
But I've been told.
This is what happened.
I could be wrong.
In my assessment.
But it's good to see it come back.
But where will they come back to?
Because there was one local Dunkin' Donuts.
On Sherbrooke Street West in NDG.
It's almost lower than NDG.
But it's not even lower than NDG.
Like some junk.
That's where the other Tim Hortons is.
Near Cavendish.
But in any which case.
So.
Yeah.
Now are they going to give Tim Hortons a stiff competition?
We're not sure yet.
But the problem though to the one in NDG.
Is that the place is already a condo area.
The Dunkin' Donuts building.
That little shack building.
Has been torn down.
So there's.
It's not going to be there.
That's for sure.
We're not sure where in Montreal they're going to open it.
But.
Although this is an older article from June.
As you will see in the dates as we read.
Or rather.
As my digital host David is going to read.
David.
Yeah.
So Dunkin' Donuts is making a comeback.
Okay that's good.
But where are they going to be?
As they say it's here in Montreal.
And as we.
As Uber Eats told us that maybe they're coming back.
In reaction to the stupidity of what Tim Hortons was doing.
They were doing something illegal.
Only hiring one set of group.
Oops.
It was to the point where the guy.
Who's actually he himself.
I think either he's Indian or Pakistani.
He said that this is a very stupid what Tim Hortons is doing.
Remember this is coming from an Indian guy.
Or a Pakistani.
This guy named Hadi.
I don't know what to tell you.
Anyways.
Without further ado.
I'm going to reduce myself to a little blip.
And read from.
I think it's the MTL blog.
Montreal blog.
Okay.
So here goes nothing.
Getting rid of some notifications while we're at it.
Oops.
Sorry about that.
Oops.
Actually.
I better make myself a little bit bigger.
There we go.
Alright.
Okay.
MTL blog.
Dunkin Donuts is returning to Canada.
And we finally know where the first stores will open.
Hmm.
Okay.
Let's put on our reading glasses.
Some of the first locations will be in Montreal.
Interesting.
My hometown.
Then again.
Laval is not.
Laval itself is not that far from Montreal.
It's just over the bridge.
It's a little north of Montreal.
And there's Dunkin Donuts.
Okay.
The Dunkin Donuts cup.
With a drink.
Okay.
Montreal blog staff.
Contributor update.

This story was fact-checked.
Okay.
Published June 25th, 2026.

Okay.
Dunkin Donuts is officially making its way back to Canada.
And now there's a clearer idea of what you'll be able to grab.
Where you'll be able to grab your first coffee and donut.
It depends on where you're located.
If it's Tim Hortons that's near to you, then you can grab it from Tim Hortons.
Dunkin Donuts, then Dunkin Donuts.
Depends on how many locations they're going to have.
And as for MDG, well, they need to have a different place now.
They can't be at the corner of Kingston and Sherbrooke anymore.
That corner is gone.
The one near the TD Bank.
Anyways, the company has confirmed that the first Dunkin Canada locations
are planned for the Toronto and Montreal regions.
Giving Quebec fans another reason to get excited about the chains along the way to return.
Hmm. Okay.
Interesting.
The latest update on Dunkin's return to Canada comes after Foodtastic announced earlier this year
that it has secured the rights to bring the American brand back across the country.
Hmm.
Now thanks to an exclusive statement obtained by Marcity Quebec,
we finally know where the first stores are expected to open.
And roughly, when we can expect them.
Okay.
NTL, blah, newsletter, blah, blah, blah.
There's a picture of Dunkin Donuts.
Since announcing our agreement to bring Dunkin back to Canada,
we've seen incredible interest from the Canadians.
Peter Mamas, founder and CEO of Foodtastic,
said in a statement to Marcity Quebec.
Foodtastic told Marcity Quebec that it is currently working on setting up
the first locations in the Toronto and Montreal areas.
With the first openings planned for late 2026 through early 2027.
Okay.
The company hasn't revealed any exact addresses yet,
but says more details will be shared as soon as they're finalized.
Hmm.
Okay, so they haven't...
Addresses yet.
The news is especially exciting for Montrealers,
who could be among the first in Canada to see Dunkin's return
after the brand disappeared from the Canadian market in recent years.
And more than one.
Foodtastic previously announced plans to open up
around 100 Dunkin locations across Canada over time.
Let's see what happens.
I'm going to have to check if there is any Dunkin Donuts here in Montreal
or anywhere in the area.
Although the company hasn't said how many of those will be in Quebec
or when additional cities could get stores.
Okay.
For now, you've been waiting for Dunkin Donuts to return to Canada.
And it looks like Greater Montreal is first in line.
You'll just have to hang tight a little longer
before those Dunkin runs become part of your routine again.
Okay.
The story was inspired by the article
Retour du Dunkin au Canada.
On sait enfin oรน viendra la premiรจre surcoursale,
which was originally published on North City Quebec.
Interesting.
Fascinating.

Okay.
Is there anything else?
Okay, that's it.
Okay.
Very interesting.
So we'll just minimize that.
We'll get rid of this.
We bring ourselves back.
And there you have it in a nutshell.
So, Dunkin Donuts returning back to Canada.
Returning back to Montreal.
Interesting.
Very interesting.
Stuby?
I don't know.
But anyways.
It'll give Tim Hortons a bit of competition.
Which they need.
Which is why I'm glad they brought in Burger King.
But then again, Burger King and McDonald's are the same ----.
I don't know if Donuts and Tim Hortons are the same ----.
But that's just it.
We're not sure.
I don't know what to tell you.
Anyways, that's it.
Conclude.
Close it off.
So...
Dunkin's is coming back.
Eventually.
They said for sure.
But we're still waiting.
Maybe there's going to be another article saying where they're located.
Unless I find a footnote somewhere.
On an app or something like that.
We're not sure.
Anyways, at this point I'll bid you adieu.
Au revoir.
Hasta maรฑana.
Hasta luego.
Shalom.
Salam aleichem.
Au revoir.
Adieu.
Au revoir.
Merci beaucoup.
Merci.
Shachar Ragalem.
Whoops.
Shachar Ragalem and...
Dunkin' Donuts.
So easy to love.
Time to make the donuts.
What can I say?
Now, the only thing to say is...
Thank you very much.
