Dual Knob RGB Controller Hands-On — Great on Android, Broken on Mac?

What's up guys today we are checking out this custom knob controller and the reason I really liked it is because it had two scroll wheels one on the top one on the bottom if my understanding or by looking at it listing was correct it had an RGB and and it was also clickable. So if you are a pro user then you can actually take a lot of advantage like using these triggers so you can control zoom in zoom out you can switch between different color ranges and you can do a bunch of other stuff depending on what your workflow is and you can also use the assigned dedicated clicks to their clicks to perform certain actions and then there is also an RGB. So I thought it was a cool idea you can increase your productivity by it. So I thought give it a try. So you have a big cable maybe one meter type A to type C colored blacks which means that it is not bluetooth enabled and actually surprisingly these feels metal. I was expecting them to be not metal actually I was expecting it to be plasticky but these things are metal and very satisfying to rotate and there is a feedback like click tick tick tick. So there is not sound but the feedback is there when you give it a certain way same is here. I don't know if my mic can pick it up. So very satisfying this one is heavier this one is lighter the this area is for RGB then you have the type C then on part number you have on off and rubber feet so it doesn't slide away and you have this tiny little controller knob controller for your PC Mac or whatever you want to use it with. Let's see let's documentation you have so that you we can see so you have it is a dual knob you actually also have a single knob if you don't want a dual knob you can get a single knob too but I got the dual knob one and that supports bluetooth. Oh so it does support bluetooth 2.4G wireless and wire type C connections that's actually cool I will if it is also bluetooth. It is driver free plug and play that's also cool and can be programmed to perform any standard keyboard function including complex shortcut combinations with its single press that's cool. Controller has a built-in memory and is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, Android, Harmonia OS and iOS as well. Multiple controllers can be connected simultaneously so you can use multiple of these you don't need to stick with a single one. Compact portable and easy to use okay one click text input scroll up and down on TikTok or other short video apps on phone and tablet. Hit the like button or just screen brightness for that is for laptop switch between web pages control video editing software. Okay this they keep mentioning 2.4G receiver so they did they I mean if you haven't sent any then how would I even use any because they maybe they are just saying that if you have a receiver it will work with it. Yeah okay scan the QR code to download the mini keyboard software from there. So you need to control or customize its functions you need to download this software what about on Android anyway function settings are there the different software settings are there so frequently asked questions are here. What about the phone plug the receiver into your computer turn on the computer bluetooth. adjusting it let's see no I thought it when I would like it to be always on RGB oh this one is definitely for changing the pattern at least this button because the pattern did change I think so and what if I give it some power RGB on that way apparently not now how do I pair it with bluetooth because they did mention bluetooth here so you have this 2.4 so this button is called layer key layer key and no idea what does that mean I'm just going to search for it in my bluetooth and let's see if we find any okay so it is already visible I didn't have to do anything so let's pair it and now it functions now it is not even letting me type so I did I paired it with this keyboard and now it was not showing the keyboard I finally figured it out so let's go to TikTok because it helps you scroll increase the unique the unique thing we can see is mechanics and volume now what happens if I give it click nothing what if I go double tab uh what if I click this button nothing they did mention that you can do like so I was expecting it to give like to myself but how do I give like to myself apparently I am unable to my click is happening but it is not doing anything so I am unable to give like to myself but volume control is there the unique things is mechanics but the reaction time is really smooth big hand small I mean it follows instantly and this is very satisfying to actually scroll it because it is made of metal and there is no end like you can just keep rotating this is and what happened to you okay why is not it's swipe what wasn't it working right before this one but now it is not that's how okay so this button somehow locks if I click it and then swipe it nothing happens then I if I click and if I click it again it locks click it again it starts scrolling so you can use the scroll on anything wherever it is scrollable for example here it is scrollable what why did it go back these functions keep to be changed seems to be changing I have no idea so if I click it again what would then happen nothing happens now and this stays same way so this button is not not disturbed but this one is so if I press again nothing happens press again now it starts working so you can actually lock this button down in case you don't want to swipe it and I did try to find the like but I am unable to find it so I'm unable to give myself like let's try in reels Instagram reels maybe I can do it there can I give myself like no no like there then I can swipe like this so my phone and use you can use similarly on PC Windows Mac what about iOS because it does work with iOS right so let's disconnect it to have to change let's disconnect it from here just so that it is easier unpaired I'm going to switch to iPhone and iPhone let's go to explode out and let's see if I okay I can spot it let's pair it and see what it is what does it do here it connected let's see how it is connected no idea no volume so so same thing and this one what does it scroll let's the bottom one doesn't seem to be doing here anything top one is doing volume and pressing it one time actually mutes it pressing it again unmutes it now let's go to tick tock and see if it changes there okay so let's see so you have volume here I'm trying to see if this one actually does scroll not really on iPhone the scrolling doesn't work at least not for me yeah unless you have to do something special the scrolling doesn't work no matter how much I do and if like was an option I wasn't able to make it work okay so iPhone and Android done now what is next what is next what is next next up is macOS MacBook I don't have a Windows PC with me at the moment so I will not be able to test it so let's go to test it out on a Mac all right I have connected it with my MacBook and this is actually its application I mean it's stretches straight to my whole monitor and it does not recognize this device and on top of that the website is not that encouraging I mean look at it first of all it is not secure see second it's uh it is auto translated I think it is not even in English I think so then they do make a lot of other stuff as well but for example if I look at it there is no Mac option at all even though they do say Mac option there is one software that is Mac supported which is this one so I actually downloaded it but it isn't working so maybe it's your old screen customized small keyboard screen I don't know so I connected it it did not detect it so I'm unable to customize it with their applications then I have this macro rebound online like Chrome and actually this one does recognize it see so you can customize it using this application it does say that see it has recognized it I'm saying so you can select what kind of device it is and then how many knobs it has three keys zero knobs two knobs six keys something like that 15 keys 12 keys two knobs maybe this one with two so then you can click on one and then go to assign different actions to it and then once you're done you would say right keypad by default it works the same way volume control scroll all that thing is there let's try let me scroll it there is the volume there is volume see and if I click this one it is like just scrolling my cursor around and sometimes it let's see if it and it doesn't actually by default does not even scroll so there is that at least it does not scroll here yeah and actually types did I write something like knob two will type but it it is trying to type here I mean I'm rotating so it is doing something but on Mac I feel like there's not good support and I don't like that their website is also unsecured but assuming I'm assuming you will get better support for it on Windows but if you want to use it this is the URL that you should try it will let you change it however you want so this is knob two and then you can control it device is it's a really good idea but I feel like unless you find a software to tune it down it's a missed opportunity on Mac at least so uh I don't know uh I can definitely not recommend anyone with Mac Mac OS MacBook for Windows I'm not sure if it will work or not that the softwares are mostly Windows so maybe it will work but for some reason since I haven't tested I can't say it so I mean you know what you're getting into so buy it on your own at your own risk now these are my thoughts let me know about you guys and
