I'm sure there's guys that obviously do it, but it's a fun way to catch them. There's no lead. There's no nothing, dude. We're on a seven foot six Akuma twitching rod. If we get a big donkey one on that one, it's going to be fun. We're getting bit at four to 4.2 miles an hour, which is not normal. That just goes to show you how many fish are around. Fish. Double. And now we got probably a three foot leader to a giant pink size six blue fox. We're going to run the Wiggler almost as like a diver to get the spinner down a little bit. You'll see it in an upcoming episode. So we're going to go over how to let a 360 and all its gear out. Because people make this very difficult and it's super simple. And what I like to do is I start with my spinner, bait, it doesn't matter. Whatever's behind the 360. So then I throw out my spinner overboard. I grab my flasher making sure everything's still in line. Throw my flasher out overboard. Now it's just kind of hanging. So I grab my lead. This is the most important part. I don't send my lead overboard. I still have it in my hand. I get my rod out of its station. And now I'm going to look at the rod. I'm going to make sure it's not tangled. Because what ends up happening sometimes people like to throw the lead out and then it gets hooked on an eye and it'll pop your eye off. So then I just gently set my lead down making sure it doesn't sink and bundle everything up. Then I reel all the way to tip and I look at my gear. Weight, flasher, bait. Everything's in line. So that's the key to not tangling. And then I zero up my counter. I put my thumb on the spool and I just slowly let out. If you let out super slow a couple feet at a time pause, let your gear catch up and spread out you're never going to tangle a rod. Simple. And what's nice is if you're letting out slow down here in these lower estuaries you get bit in the hand a lot. More times than you would think. Then once you get it set it put in your rod holder and forget it and wait till the and that's how you don't tangle a 360 trolling setup. We need to reel up and zero those counters so something's not right. Oh he's off, he's off, he's off. Light me up. How close do you want to get shot? I'm going to go mid. It's going to hurt though. I'll shoot you right in the ***. You want me to warn you? No. It didn't even break. I feel like your bibs kind of blocked you though. That's best case scenario Back on with the bet right? Like an insane amount. Okay there's a seal. Oh right here look. Alright guys these damn seals are following us around. It's really frustrating. We were able to get both of those fish thank God. We were able to kind of get them away from the seals and get them released and they swam away but he almost had them dude. He was at the bottom of our net. Look it he's still following us right here on the life. He's right at the base of our boat right now. That's the seal right there. He's like right here somewhere. It's freaking annoying. Oh we got the seal. Oh my god that's a giant. He's wild. It's under, it's under. Giant sea lions right underneath you. Shoot that mother. He's right in the mouth. Yeah. We thought this incoming tide was gonna be crazy good. Like we thought with how good that outgoing was this morning and we just caught the tail end of it we thought the incoming was gonna be on fire and so we waited to do the twitching and do all the fun stuff until now and now there's no fish. So yeah not ideal but we're still gonna give it hell. We're gonna try here for a little bit and just see if we can maybe turn one up on a twitching jig but either way if we don't it's been a killer day but fingers crossed maybe we'll get one at least. Boom. How are we looking? I give it a seven. It's a 7.2 at least. One bite. You know that. It's a 7.2. What's for a gas station dude? That's pretty high for a gas station. 7.2? You heard it here first. He saw it. Get a little Fultano's going here. This is a tradition you guys if you go to Astoria and fish Bui Ten you gotta hit Fultano's on the way home. That was a good day boys. That was a fun day. That was so good. We had so many bites guys. That was insane. When we started out I didn't think it was gonna be that crazy. We should have gone.
