At the 2025 Kindness Is Cool Video Awards Ceremony on March 28, Chief Operating Officer of Aerial Recovery and U.S. Army veteran Jeremy Locke delivered a powerful, heartfelt message about the life-changing impact of kindness. Drawing on 20 years of military service and his work with disaster relief and human trafficking rescue missions, Jeremy reminds us that kindness isn't weakness—it's a powerful force that uplifts individuals, communities, and nations.

I'll just go ahead and use my army voice.
I was in the army for for 20 years.
So I'm pretty good at yelling at people.
But you know what?
Yelling at people is not kind most of the time.
So I don't think I'm just raising my voice, guys.
But in all seriousness, I want to thank Sherry Ganjing World.
Like it was said, Brittany said it perfectly.
It's a very simple message.
Kindness is cool, but it's a very important one, right?
There's a lot of distractions that go around in this world.
And if you do something as simple as be kind to somebody, it's contagious
and you can start spreading that around to different people,
different communities, different nations, different continents and everybody.
It uplifts and inspires people.
And I want to thank James for being so.
That was super kind there.
He's taking this money that he could absolutely has earned,
but he could absolutely take it for himself.
But he doesn't want to.
He wants to reinvest that in organizations like Aero Recovery
or where we come from veterans and and first responder community
that we have all this specialized training.
And what we really want to do is we want to get out
and we want to impact and help those most in need.
We go to places like North Carolina after Hurricane Helene
and help people after natural disasters.
We go to places like Mexico, Central America, South America,
and we rescue people from the clutches of human trafficking.
There's a lot of dark things that happen in this world.
There's a lot of people that take advantage of people in this world.
But it takes people being kind, takes people, bring the light to go out
and serve those communities and help people that are in desperation and despair.
And again, it's just that simple message of putting the correct people together
and building an army that can go out and be impactful in this world.
That's what God's new world has been doing.
It doesn't matter what adversity comes to them, what
what people try to attack them for what they're doing.
But they find a way to continue to inspire, to help, to go out
and serve the people of the world.
And from the moment we stepped out here in the moment, I got this message
from James to come out and be able to support and talk.
Like, I know I've met some people here that are new to me,
but I am on board with everything that God's new world is doing.
I'm on board with helping people like James with great hearts
that want to go out and impact the world.
I want to do whatever I can as Jeremy Locke, whatever Arrow Recovery can
to help people that are walking in their passion and purpose,
to help people understand what God's calling is for them
so we can go out and have a big impact on this world.
