The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the CDC, and its partners uncovered signs that the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines might cause tinnitus, but they never disclosed the findings to the public. The signs were found while analyzing documents from the Vaccine Safety Datalink data of the CDC. The Vaccine Safety Datalink has been described as one of the strongest CDC surveillance systems. This is because it utilizes health care records. Documents obtained by the Epoch Times show that the signs of tinnitus were detected just after the CDC told a reporter that there were no signs of large numbers of tinnitus cases. The signs commonly manifest as constant ringing in the head following COVID-19 vaccination. The CDC never updated the reporter whose story reported that the CDC had not found a cluster of cases. According to Dr. Jeremy Walskog, the co-chair of the advocacy group REACT-19, the documents prove that they were aware of the safety signals regarding tinnitus, adverse events, and twins. Dr. Walskog said this safety signal was never communicated to the public and no further epidemiological study on tinnitus and VSD was ever completed. The Epoch Times obtained the recent documents through a Freedom of Information Act FOIA request. Previous requests have uncovered other evidence that the CDC knew about the possible safety problems with COVID-19 vaccines, yet again it did not alert the public. That included detecting in May of 2022 a safety signal for tinnitus after the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Data from another CDC system was analyzed based on reports that were filed by doctors and others. Dr. Walskog added, as time passes and more FOIA requests are executed, how many more safety signals will we learn about that the CDC knew about years ago? And, when will the American people know the whole story and nothing but the truth? Is the CDC evil or incompetent or maybe both? Other researchers and countries have also linked tinnitus and COVID-19 vaccines. For example, in early 2022, U.S. researchers said that VAERS data suggests an association between vaccines and tinnitus. Australian and South Korean researchers later reported that vaccinated people, including those receiving the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine, had an increased risk of tinnitus. Conversely, some studies, such as one from the United States, have found no increase in tinnitus after COVID-19 vaccination. Because of increasing link evidence, the European Medicines Agency added tinnitus to the labels for AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccines. According to the agency, up to 1 in 1,000 people may suffer from tinnitus after receiving shots. Australian regulators have also placed tinnitus warnings on the labels for AstraZeneca and Novavax COVID-19 vaccines. The AstraZeneca shot has never been authorized in the United States. The method by which vaccines cause the condition still remains unclear and the public still remains in the dark.
