British MPs continue with law against forced organ harvesting

According to the official media of the Chinese Communist Party, the former leader of the CCP, Jiang Zemin, died in Shanghai on Wednesday, November 30. His crimes of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and organ harvesting during his lifetime has once again attracted attention. The British House of Lords debated on Wednesday amending the law against live organ harvesting. Lord David Alton tweeted on November 30, Former CCP leader Jiang Zemin who gave the orders to eradicate Falun Gong using any means necessary and set up 610 Office, a police department specifically for that purpose, has died. He added, Lord Hunt Phillip Hunt will today move amendment on forced organ harvesting. At 5pm UK time on November 30, Lord Hunt will once again introduce the amendments to the procurement bill in the House of Lords which will prevent the UK from signing public contracts with companies involved in live organ harvesting. The last amendment was debated in the House of Lords on October 25. Lord Alton and Lord Hunt have always advocated for human rights in China and they helped promote the amendment of the Medicines and Medical Devices Bill, the Health and Care Bill, to fight the CCP's crime of harvesting live organs from Falun Gong practitioners and prisoners of conscience. In 2019, the China Tribunal chaired by Geoffrey Nice QC concluded that the CCP has been conducting large-scale live organ harvesting operations for many years and that Falun Gong practitioners are the main source of organ supply. The CCP's crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners was exposed in the United States in early March 2006. Since then, the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, WOIPFG, has continued to investigate this case for 15 years. In September 2014, recorded telephone investigations by the WOIPFG showed that Bai Shuzhong, director of the Military Medical Department under the General Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Logistics at the time, admitted that Jiang personally ordered the harvesting of live organs from Falun Gong practitioners. On August 27, 2013, an audio recording obtained exclusively by the Epoch Times shows the date of September 13, 2006, when then-CCP Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai accompanied Premier Wen Jiabao visiting Hamburg, Germany personally admitted that Jiang had ordered the harvesting of live organs from Falun Gong practitioners.
