🎥 Big Fish (2003)

•Big Fish follows Will Bloom, a young man struggling to understand his father, Edward Bloom, whose life is filled with unbelievable stories and fantastical adventures. As Edward nears the end of his life, Will tries to separate fact from fiction in the tales he has heard since childhood.

Through colorful flashbacks, viewers witness Edward’s encounters with giants, witches, circus performers, and extraordinary places, all told with imagination and wonder. While Will initially believes these stories are exaggerations, he gradually realizes they reveal deeper truths about his father’s character, dreams, and love for his family.

The film explores themes of storytelling, family bonds, memory, and the way people choose to remember their lives. In the end, Will comes to appreciate that the value of his father’s stories lies not in their factual accuracy but in the meaning and inspiration they provide.
