This is Benny, a cheerful little boy who loved riding his bike more than anything.
One sunny morning, Benny was riding down the trail, his helmet on, a big smile on his face.
He was on his way to meet his friends at the school parking lot for a fun bike ride together.
He zoomed down the lane from his home, feeling the breeze on his face.
I'm biking down the winding trail with butterflies and breeze so cool.
The flowers giggle, birds all cheer, I ride with joy, no fear is near.
I'm flying fast and free, just my bike and happy me, with the breeze and sunny skies.
I feel like I can almost fly.
The sun is warm, the breeze is light, my heart feels happy, pure delight.
With every turn the world feels wide, adventure awaits, come take a ride.
I'm flying fast and free, just my bike and happy me,
with the breeze and sunny skies. I feel like I can almost fly.
A squirrel waves from a leafy tree, the trail ahead is wild and free.
I ring my bell, I laugh out loud, I'm zooming fast and feeling proud.
I'm flying fast and free, just my bike and happy me, down the trail my heart can soar.
Let's ride and ride, then ride some more.
While Benny was enjoying his ride, he noticed something and he stopped.
Right by the side of the path, he saw a little bird, hurt and unable to fly.
Benny's heart sank. He knew his friends were waiting, but he also knew the bird needed help.
Benny thought for a moment, then gently picked up the bird and placed it in the basket.
He turned around and pedaled back home.
When he got home, Benny's mom saw the bird and listened to what happened.
She smiled and said, that was very kind of you, Benny.
They carefully took the bird to the animal doctor,
who cleaned the bird's wing and said it would be okay soon.
Over the next few days, Benny cared for the bird like a true friend.
He gave it seeds to eat, fresh water to drink, and even sang little songs to it.
The bird slowly got better. It started hopping around and flapping its wings again.
Benny was happy and a little sad too.
Can we keep it, mom? He asked. It's my new friend.
His mom smiled and said gently, birds belong in the sky, Benny.
They should be free to fly. So together, they let the bird go.
But guess what? The bird didn't forget Benny.
Every day it flew back to their backyard.
Benny fed it, played with it, and watched it soar through the air.
Sometimes doing the right thing means giving up something we want.
But when we choose kindness, magical things happen.
Benny learned that being kind and caring makes the world a happier place for everyone.
And that when you help others, happy things come back to you too.
