How hard did you train for this? Months and months and months and still going. Because you have to continue with it because it's not even just Wonder Woman now you also have Justice League. Yeah I'm training every day. It's been a ride but you get to the point where when you know where you get used to the trainings. I've been training for nine months before we even started shooting Batman vs. Superman. I'm the type of person I'm a very positive person so even when I have my you know challenges I try to look at the half full glass and I say to myself okay I need to train for my work. I need to be in shape and train and learn new skills and it's amazing. It's such a big privilege. It's exciting. So there was a gym on set of Batman vs. Superman and we heard all about Ben and Henry being in there. Were you in there and did you all have any competitions? I gotta to be honest with you yeah I trained in the same gym. Many times Henry and I trained at the gym at the same time but not together. We do different things. So there was never a like bicep curl contest or anything like that? No but that's a good idea maybe for Justice League. I also heard the story about when you put your first costume on. First of all tell me what that felt like when you became Wonder Woman for the first time? Okay the first time I ever tried the costume was two days after they announced that I got the part. So they they brought me to Michigan and I stepped into this huge room filled with images of me as Wonder Woman which just blew my mind to see myself as her. So it started to sink in and then the first time I tried the costume it was so tight. It was super tight I could not breathe. I was like but I didn't want to say anything to ruin the moment and I was also so happy to be there. But of course soon enough they realized it was too tight and we adjusted everything and it's just great. The first time I stepped into set in the Wonder Woman costume I remember Deborah Snyder crying. There was such a unique special energy that day on set and I think that that was the first moment that I literally embodied Wonder Woman and became her. Did you ever cry? Um no no no I just got the chills. And does your husband because I was talking to Amy earlier and she said her husband yeah she said her husband loves the fact that you know he's with Lois Lane and if he had heard this back when he was 12 years old that someday he'd be married to Lois Lane he wouldn't have believed it. But how does your husband handle the fact that you're Wonder Woman now? He's super happy to be married to Wonder Woman. He's so proud uh he's so happy he's my biggest fan and and I love him. It's just the only thing that changed is that he started training more because I became so strong um no but he's amazing he's the best. Your daughter came to set at some point and did she hang out with Ben's kids as well because I know Samuel visited and did they all get to hang out? No my no they came in different different days uh my daughter loves coming on set because of crafty first of all she gets to have so many candies um and the first time she saw me wearing the Wonder Woman costume she was so excited because she thought that because of the fact that I have a tiara it means that I'm a queen and then she's a princess. Oh my god. So she had like it was a whole week that she thought that she was truly princess because I had the tiara. That's adorable. But she was two when I shot it yeah she was too small. Now she's gonna she might actually start to believe that you really are Wonder Woman because she's so young and now she's going to keep seeing you on sets as Wonder Woman for years and years. Yeah but you know what I think that every woman and every mother is a Wonder Woman so it's a good example she's gonna be a Wonder Woman herself.
