Hi there, traders.
This is Brad Goodwin with today's Trading Action.
All right, just a quick update.
Markets not exactly behaving as they should.
We are starting to see a few things
sort of get a little bit more clearer though, right?
US interest rate yields higher.
We are starting to see the equity markets
respond to that higher interest rate, which is lower.
But if we have a look in the charts,
it doesn't look like the equities have gone too far, right?
They're just seesawing around here,
and you would expect with that move
in the US interest rate yields on the bonds
to be a lot more significant to the downside.
That's the big question mark, right?
So we're trying to work that out.
In amongst that, we're trying to work out
when are we gonna get really good trading conditions?
We aren't far off it.
This is the thing, right?
You look at these trend lines here on, say, Euro,
sterling in particular, dollar CAD.
Dollar Swiss has got a nice sort of trend in it as well,
dollar index.
Well, we've got good trend lines.
What we need is, we need clear market conditions
as far as the fundamentals go.
And at the moment, still, NVIDIA, AI,
is dominating the sort of general news
and investment structure, everything else that's going on.
Trump is trying to work out some sort of deal here
with Iran.
I don't know how that's gonna go.
If you look at the central banks, right?
This is what they're dealing with.
Trump has come in again and changed the game.
Gives China, you know, a US pledge tariff cuts
of up to 60 billion, right?
That's, I don't know what's going on there.
Anyway, so we look at what is going around.
And if you look at the central bank news,
Christine Lagarde's doing a good job in the ECB.
Everyone else is sort of just moderating
what is actually happening in the market.
And this is important because as we come into
today's trading, we've got the RBA, right?
One of the first of the central banks to raise rates again
by 0.25%.
That's fully factored in.
What isn't is the press conference, right?
We've gotta hear what they've got to say.
Are they gonna be aggressive and say,
if it doesn't stop, we're gonna keep raising rates?
Or is it a case of, we've raised interest rates
to a level we think is good, and that's it, right?
Then you should see the Aussie come off.
Now, outside of that, there's a few other things happening.
But it's a pretty moderate sort of day ahead, right?
Keep an eye on the Euro.
If you're looking across the various instruments,
we're sort of just waiting for good market conditions.
That's the sort of key to trading these situations.
At the moment, we've got poor trading conditions.
So factor that into your trading today,
and I'll tell you more about how the week's gonna roll out
in today's weekly strategy session.
If you wanna jump on that session, just click the link,
and we're gonna sort of run through,
see if we can pinpoint the exact times
where trading could be good,
and where we can make some cash.
All right, guys, have a good one.
All the best.
Cheerio.
