After using the iPhone 18 Pro Max for a week, the creator identifies five practical features that provide genuine value over the device's broader list of specifications, focusing on camera control, battery longevity, and accessibility shortcuts.
I spent over $2,000 on the iPhone 18 Pro Max, so after using it for about a week, I wanted to know
which features actually worth using. A week ago, I walked into the Apple Store trying to decide
which one I wanted. I checked out the different colors, played around with them for a bit,
and eventually made my decision. After bringing it home and actually using it for a week,
I've discovered a few things that I didn't expect. So forget the long list of features
you will probably never use. Here are five that you actually will. Starting with the camera.
Number one. Control your background blur after you take a video. So I'm testing the new iPhone
18 Max Pro for you guys to see. I want to test a new feature to see if I can block my daughter out.
I'm gonna blur you out of the frame, just as a test, just as a test.
I really like this feature because it gives you more control over how your videos look.
You can adjust the amount of blur in the background so you can keep it subtle or really
separate yourself from everything behind you. It's simple, but it can completely change the
look of your video. Number two. Limit your charging to 90% to help preserve your battery over time.
This setting I changed immediately. Go into settings, scroll down and tap battery. From here,
tap charging. This is where you can actually control how far your iPhone charges. Instead
of charging it to 100% every single time, I have set mine to 90%. You can choose 80, 85, 90, 95 or
100%. The idea is simple. Spending less time sitting at full charge can help reduce your
battery aging over time. I still get plenty of battery for one day, so 90% is the sweet spot for
me. Number three might completely change the way you take photos. Have you ever recorded a video
and realized afterwards that there was one perfect moment you wish you had taken as a picture? Now
you don't have to take a screenshot of it. Find the exact frame you want, tap the three dots and
select save video frame from your phone. Your iPhone takes that exact moment from the video
and saves it directly to your photo library. And look at that, that's the photo straight from the
video. Number four is one of those iPhone features you could own your phone for years and never know
existed. You can actually turn the back of your iPhone into a button. Go to settings, accessibility,
touch, then scroll all the way down to back tap. Here you can choose what happens when you double
tap or triple tap the back of your iPhone. I'm setting my triple tap to screenshot. You can use
the back tap for any other action too. So now instead of pressing two buttons every time I
want to take a screenshot, three taps on the back and that's it. This is one of those features I'll
actually use. And number five is perfect for traveling. Your iPhone camera can translate text
right in front of you. Just point your camera at something like a menu, tap the live text icon,
select the text and hit translate. And just like that, the menu is translated into English.
No typing, no copying, just point your camera and translate. That was it guys. I hope you guys
enjoy this video. If you do, hit that like and share button so more people could see this video
and hit that subscribe button to be a part of my YouTube family. I'll see you guys in the next one.
Thank you.
