3D print Miniature - Table Easel

Hello everyone and welcome to my channel. Today I 3D printed this table easel and I printed it in a wood PLA and of course I sanded every part. This little part I showed you here at the end, you can either use one or the other. I just wanted to show you both. This is the draw front and you saw me put the draw into the little box and now I'm just making sure I have all the edges nice and clean. The little funny square line there is the one where you actually place your painting on when you are painting. So first I am going to glue on this front piece on my little draw. I used my tacky glue and actually I also put on two dots of my super glue gel just to make sure everything will stay in place. I designed two different pieces here for keeping your rest for the picture upright. One has a little foot and one has just a, what you call that, edge. I use the one with the edge because I think the one with the foot is a little too bulky or too big but I include both of these in my 3D print file because then you can choose which one you like the best. Then I am placing some tacky glue here on that corner on the bottom of this picture holder or painting holder and I am gluing on the edge thing on that little stick and I am gluing them in place here. Actually I'm using a tiny bit of glue on the top of this pin and that is going to hold that holder for the paintings upright. I'm gluing this in place. Normally it is made so you can put it up like this or you can place it down so the box doesn't fill too much. The glue on the front drawer was not completely dry so I accidentally knocked it off with my fingers but I'm putting that back together again. Now I just wait for everything to dry. So the top part of this little easel is standing like it is. You cannot put it down or open it up. It is open all the time but the little drawer is working perfectly. I've mixed some black Vallejo model paint together with a lot of water to kind of water it down and then I am painting everything with this mixture making sure that it is watery enough that it is not going on like a black paint so everything is black black but that you still can see the wood grains or actually there is no wood grain in this piece but you can see the wood peeking through the color and I like the result of that. Make sure you get into all the nooks and crannies and of course remember the drawer both inside and outside. I left everything to dry for at least an hour or two so I'm sure everything is completely dried and ready to continue. Then I am going to show you here this is how it looks with a little painting on it and of course you have the little drawer here in front. We will put a handle on there in a second but first I am going to take a few colors of my Vallejo paint and I'm gonna place that here and there on the easel itself and in the little drawer also so that it looks like it has really been used for painting throughout a few years or more. I am not going crazy with my painting here but you can do as much or as little as you feel like. Then I have this little jewelry findings that I still don't know the name of but I'm using one of those as a little handle on the drawer so I'm just taking a tiny dot of my super glue gel and gluing that little handle in place. So that was the build for today. You can of course make some painter tubes or some paint brushes or other kind of small things that you think you can use when you are painting and pop that in the drawers if you want to.
