AI GeneratedThis video provides a detailed comparison between the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport L and the Sport Touring trims. While both share the same fuel efficiency, towing capacity, and core dimensions, the Sport Touring serves as the premium option, offering enhanced aesthetics, advanced technology, and superior convenience features for a price increase of $2,325.
2026 Honda CR-V to my left, I have the Sport Touring in the hybrid. To my right I have the
Sport L in the hybrid. They're both going to be the all-wheel drive. What are the trim levels that
you get in 2026? We start with the gas, you get the LX, the EX and the EXL and then you come to
the hybrid and then you get Sport, Trail Sport, Sport L and then the Sport Touring. So pretty
much these two are the highest trims in the hybrid lineup. Now let's go ahead and discuss
about the MSRP sticker. In this Sport L you get $40,225, to where the Sport Touring gives you
$42,550. So that's a dollar difference of $2,325. You make the decision if the Sport L or the Sport
Touring is the right fit for you. I'm going to show you the exact differences between them.
Here in the front all you have is just one difference and that's going to be the bezel.
Down here high gloss in the Sport L to where the Sport Touring gives you satin like a silver
aluminum. Second difference here in the front is going to be your range sensing wipers that you get
in the Sport Touring to where the Sport L does not offer you that option. As well as the drivetrain
that's going to be different as well. The Sport Touring Standard gets the real-time all-wheel
which means it splits the power front to rear 50-50. So that's going to be your difference.
Then another difference between them is going to be the front-wheel drive versus all-wheel drive
that you can get in the Sport L to where the Sport Touring all you get is that real-time
all-wheel drive. Now optional you can also get in the Sport L the real-time all-wheel drive but
that's not going to be standard so that's not a direct difference between them. As far as the
curb weight that's going to be another difference you're going to get 4,893 pounds in the Sport L
to where the Sport Touring gives you 4,926 pounds. As far as the tank size capacity goes absolutely
no difference the same 14 gallons and when it comes to the mpg exactly the same between them
40 cd 34 highway. Towing exactly the same in both of them a maximum of 1,000 pounds and assembly
point exactly the same between them USA. Now the CR-V was released in 1995 so there is a little bit
of history behind this vehicle. As far as the suspension goes absolutely no difference between
them McPherson short suspension and now let's go ahead and discuss about the side differences
but before we do that please don't forget to like and subscribe that's going to help me out to bring
you more individual reviews more comparisons and if you have a specific request for me to create
another video let me know in the comment section below or via email. Also this video is filming in 4k
make sure you adjust your youtube settings to watch this at the highest quality and a big thank you
and a shout out to Folsom Lake Honda here in Folsom California for providing me with both of these
SUVs for this comparison. Once I get in the cargo I'm going to give you some measurements in two
inches not just cargo cubic feet of space so you know exactly what you can fit in a CR-V in 2026.
Now exterior paint color both of them are going to be the urban gray so I hope you appreciate that
I was able to find the exact same exterior paint color to highlight the differences a little bit
better. If you prefer to have different colors in my videos let me know in the comment section below.
Now let's go ahead and see the side differences and for the side let's go ahead and start with
the wheels and the tires. The size is going to be different as well as the brand is going to
different. Sport L will give you a bi-color wheel with the exact rubber Bridgestone Ecopia and the
size 235 by 60 by 18. When we go and take a look at the Sport Touring you're going to get a continental
cross contact with the size 235 55 by 19. As mentioned this suspension exactly the same
wheel well trim exactly the same rocker panel exactly the same side mirror exactly the same
high gloss for the top bottom is going to be matte black plastic signal light integrated and heated.
You do not get auto dimming capabilities or automatic foldable in the CR-V in 2026.
No other differences here for the side I don't want to waste your time they both come with a
moonroof or a sunroof and then let me give you some dimensions so you know exactly how much the
CR-V is in length is going to be 184.8 inches width 73.5 and that does not include the mirrors
your height is 66.5 inches wheelbase 106.3 inches and the ground clearance is going to be 7.8 inches
absolutely no difference between the two in our video today and now let's go ahead and take a look
at the rear differences and now here in the rear continuing with the differences you are going to
have three differences for the interior and two differences for the carver the first is going to
be your spoiler matte black plastic in the sport l to where this sport touring gives you gloss
second difference is going to be your badging you get the touring additional badge on the sport
touring obviously to where here on the sport l you don't get that and the third difference here is
going to be your hands-free tailgate that you get in the sport touring a little bit more higher class
a little bit more expensive and now let's go ahead and open this tailgate because there is no other
differences here for the outside electrically controlled in both of them and then you have
an exhaust tip on each side in chrome passenger and the driver and now i'm going to give you
cubic feet of space and then measurements into inches and before the cubic feet of space i'm
going to let you know the differences that privacy cover for the cargo that you get additionally in
this sport touring to where the sport l does not offer you that and because the sport touring the
higher trim in our video today is equipped with the bose sound system you're going to get an
additional subwoofer on the passenger side here on the cargo to where the sport l does not offer
you that and now cargo cubic feet of space exactly the same in both of them 39.3 cubic feet of space
with the seats up if you drop the backrest of the second row seating you're going to get 76.5 cubic
feet of space and now measurements into inches behind the backrest up to your plastic paneling
37 inches we go with the measuring tape all the way up to the center console you're going to get
74 inches the minimum width you're going to get here in the crv hybrid is 41 inches and your
entrance is going to bring you 32.5 inches and the loading height is going to be about
27.5 inches so i'm hoping those measurements were helpful for you guys no other differences
here you do not get storage under this floor mat because both of these are going to be hybrids
and that floor mat is stationary you cannot lift it up and now let's go ahead and take a look at
the interior differences now inside with the differences between the sport l versus the sport
touring both of them in our video today being in the all-wheel drive but even that all-wheel drive
is different between them let me remind you the price difference 2325 dollars and now let's do a
space test i'm six feet tall here for the front you get 41.3 inches the second row seating is
going to bring you 41 inches enough legroom enough headroom if you take this hybrid crv for long
road trips i think you're going to be comfortable having five adults now the seating surface
absolutely no difference between them you get the perforation you get the stitching you get the
leather you get memory seats two positions for the driver and the electric for the passenger and also
the driver the difference you're going to see here is going to be your Bose audio system that you get
in the sport touring with the 12 speakers to where the sport l does not get the Bose and it's just an
eight speaker audio system next difference is going to be your ambient light for the door
lever that you get in the sport touring to where the sport l does not offer you that and then also
your foot well light that you get in the sport touring and now let's go ahead and take a look
at this infotainment screen this is going to be a little bit different because of these two buttons
right here let me go ahead and grab the camera so i can show you a little bit better you have the
additional buttons here for the stations for the fm stations your or your radio stations that's
going to be different as far as the buttons go but what you get additional here is going to be your
google built-in which is going to bring you navigation play store google assistant and alexa
so that's going to be very different between them also the tiles or the cards for the interface are
going to be different but when you put this into reverse absolutely no difference exactly the same
in both of them let me go ahead and show you where that fm hd radio is going to be there you go and
that's the hd radio then your drive modes are going to be different here in the sport touring you get
five different drive modes to where the sport l offers you just four additionally you get the
individual drive mode here in the sport touring heater steering wheel that's going to be another
difference where the sport touring gives you the heated steering wheel sport l does not offer you
that option and then here if you look at the door panel you're going to see these inlays
there's going to be a lot of glossy inlay in the sport touring to where the sport l gives you
matte black plastic and that's pretty much it with the differences here no other differences
and now let's go ahead and take a look at the second row seating differences and now here in
the rear really quick because there is only one difference just like the front door you're going
to see the door inlays gloss versus matte black plastic absolutely no other difference here for
the second row seating you do have 41 inches for your leg room i'm six feet tall this is how much
leg room you have this is how much headroom you have absolutely no issue if you take this long
road trips similarities this armrest floating armrest two cup holders adjustable backrest and
that's very convenient let me go ahead and show you if you put this all the way back that's going
to give you a lot of comfort up top your white light or the true light lightning right here and
then the handle up top and then this door absolutely no difference between the sport l versus sport
touring and now here's the msrp sticker for it should be more affordable one the sport l comes in
at 40 225 take a good look at the msrp sticker the color interior color exterior color and now
here's the msrp sticker for this sport touring which is the highest trim in the crv lineup 42 550
and you let me know what you think let me know which one you prefer if you think that 2325
difference makes sense to go with the sport hybrid or if the sport l is enough for you i would
appreciate your feedback also there is a thing going on on my channel people are trying to find
