TXDPS Human Trafficking Bust Webb County Texas! Video!

This is Operation Lone Star. We've got DPS or Department of Public Safety. Chasing down a red Chevrolet Tahoe, that's right, a smuggler in a red Chevrolet Tahoe led Texas DPS troopers on a high-speed vehicle pursuit on I-35 in Webb County. The smuggler, Carlos Alejandro Hernandez Briones from Laredo, crashed into two vehicles but refused to stop. He eventually bailed out of the truck and jumped into the Rio Grande along with two illegal immigrants. The two illegal immigrants managed to swim back to Mexico, but troopers tossed in a rescue grab line preventing Briones from drowning and took him into custody. He couldn't swim. Briones was arrested and charged with five counts. ...of smuggling of persons, evading arrest, and reckless driving. Five illegal immigrants were located in the Tahoe and referred to the U.S. Border Patrol. Let's check this out. I got a 10-80 with a red Tahoe Chevrolet. It's gonna be a red Tahoe, they just hit my Jeep, we're going to go out of my school, I'm about to get a 3.5. That's what we advise, I see. He's in huge trouble, too bad he couldn't swim.
