Quick video to pick the winners of the 'Put and take' trench art from my friend Gary. Also an announcement of the next give away and my Garrett Ace 150 which is up for auction in aid of HELP FOR HEROES here : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221458385692&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT Check out if Gary has any trench art for sale here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/earlsihtric/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= Please do not confuse these items with WWII souvenirs plundered from war graves by modern day grave robbers in Germany, Estonia, Latvia and other countries in Europe. They have been put together from items found by proper detectorists, made using traditional machinery and are a real tribute to the millions of people who lost their lives in WWI and WWII. Thanks for watching and appreciating the videos - another detecting video coming this weekend GL&HH
Hello there, welcome back.
This is going to be an ultra quick video. It's simply to pick
the two winners for the Trench Art.
These are put and take games and if you don't know
what that is, check out my previous videos on Trench Art.
So without further ado, let's
get the winners picked.
Okay then, this is the Trench Art giveaway video that I put up
about a week or so ago and I'm now going to pick the winners.
I've got all the comments up here
I think there's 300 and odd of them, so there's quite a lot.
And I've just found a page up and page down button on the computer,
so that's going to make skimming through them a hell of a lot easier.
All I'm going to do is skim up and down
and up and down and up and down,
and stop, and wherever it stops, that will be the winner.
Start off somewhere in the middle.
I've set the comments to be top comments, so it just randomises them,
apart from a couple that are at the top.
And the first draw will be for the 1945 one.
And up and down again
and then I think we'll scan up.
I'll shut my eyes and pick now. Quick draw 0331.
Okay this is to win the second one which is the 1944 put
and take trench art. I'll shut my eyes
and pick one now. That's nearer the top one there.
Jessica Rapp, you are the winner of the second one.
Very good, two worthy winners there, and I'm going to reply
to the Trench Art entry that they made in my previous video,
and I'm also going to send them
a private message requesting their address.
Once I get their address from them, I'll post these out.
Okay, on to the next giveaway.
It's not in this video, but it will
be coming up in the next week or so.
A while back I bought two bum bag pouch sort of things,
and I found out I really only need one of them.
I'm using it as a kind of like a grab-and-go survival kit like a
prepping kit sort of thing so it's got firelight
and things in there. Actually
you'll be surprised just how much can fit in there.
As I say I've made up one
for myself the other one is gonna be empty but I'm gonna give it away.
I can't remember what I paid for them
because I bought a load of stuff at the same
time but there's one of them
that I don't need it's a cracking little prize
excellent finds pouch it's also good for prepping.
It's good as a survival kit, it's good for putting fishing gear
in if you want to travel light, so watch out for that one.
One final thing, and on the subject
of people that gave their lives in wars,
I've decided to sell my Garrett Ace 150.
It's in pretty good condition,
and it also comes with a big coil as well.
I more or less make my living on eBay.
So I'm going to sell my detector plus
the coil plus I think it's got a cover for the control box as well.
I'm going to sell all of that by auction in aid of Help for Heroes.
And Help for Heroes is a military charity based in the UK.
And they help support people that have been to war,
come back injured, or if they just need some sort of rehabilitation,
whether it's physical or mental rehabilitation, they see to that.
They really are a good charity. And I'm going to be immensely proud
to give whatever money that detector makes to that charity.
Let's go on an eBay.
Help for Help for Heroes.
That's, in my eyes, that's the fairest way to do it. Everybody
that logs onto that site can see exactly where
the money's going to go. And that won't be
the end of it. I've actually got another machine
as well that I don't use. It's a Deeptech
Vista Gold. It's excellent on small targets,
but unfortunately I got it just before I got
the Deus. And the Deus is also excellent on small targets,
but the Deus has the digital
and it's a little bit lighter
so although this Vista Gold is worth a lot of money
i think i'm gonna auction that in aid of charity as well
so watch out for that in future videos
if you check the video description you'll see
the link to the eBay auction
for the
Garrett Ace
150. thanks
for watching.
ern cat i'm gonna sell
that shut up man why do you always shout
how do you know
that i'm filming i'm gonna throttle that pheasant
