All right guys, I wanted to come on here
and just kind of address everything that was happening.
I don't have a PR team, I don't have even a manager right now,
so I feel like this is the right thing
to do. So I'm just going to speak from the heart and anyways.
So yes, it is true that Jen filed
for divorce yesterday and it is true that I found out
from a TMZ reporter about the filing but
Regardless of that, this is something we've
been talking about for a long time.
Jen came to me about a year ago after Dancing with the Stars
and told me she was unhappy and wanted a divorce.
And I basically begged her to stay, begged her that, you know,
told her work on things, fix things,
become whoever she needed me to be.
And ultimately, just we couldn't make it work.
And it sucks because I really do love Jen,
and I still love Jen.
And, and, and.
And...
Yeah, when I first met Jen,
she had this light about her unlike anyone I've ever met, and
she really does have such a good heart,
and I will continue to support her and be her biggest fan,
and I really do believe in her.
I think anything with acting, singing, wherever she goes, I really
do believe she's gonna be successful, and yeah,
I guess we're just trying to figure out at this
At this point,
what's next what how we handle this with the kids
and that's really my priorities i feel like
probably the thing that's eating me alive the most is i feel like i've
i've just i feel like i failed my kids
and i'm worried that i'm going to cause them damage and
i just hope that we can still give them a normal childhood
but as far as that goes
Jen and I are definitely on the same page
of wanting to give them the best the best
life we can the best childhood we can
and be be teammates and work together to do that so
Anyways, I really do hope and pray for the best for her,
and I don't want anyone speaking
bad about Jen.
I don't.
I'll just be the first to say I've made plenty
of mistakes in our marriage, and it just really
was time for us to go our own ways.
We got married so young,
and it sucks because I really did feel like we had something pretty
special when we got married.
She, yeah, life happened. We had four kids. We signed up
for reality TV on a show that's really hurt a lot of people's lives.
And yeah, there's a lot of, it's just hard, hard.
Marriage is hard. Having your marriage in the public's hard.
Raising kids is hard. And I think we just slowly over time,
we lost that spark and life happened. So.
I'm just coming on here to shut down any narratives.
I've seen all sorts of things
and there's no team Zach, team Jen.
The only team is just trying to give these kids the best life we
can and yeah and the other just supporting each other
and I think we're going to continue to do
so and try to show what
a healthy co-parenting relationship can look like. At least that's my
That's my goal.
I know Jen has said the same.
Um, yeah guys, please just remember we're, we're human,
we're, we're, um, we're just normal people.
I know to everyone else we're these people
on this reality TV show, but this is our real life,
our real marriage, our real kids, so please be kind,
please be understanding, and I don't know
what's next for me. I have seen people say go back to medical school,
but it's not that simple.
It'd take a couple years just to get back in, and...
So I don't know. I've looked into getting
a PhD in some things that I'm excited about.
I've looked into starting some businesses.
Maybe Netflix will give us
a divorced dad talk show that nobody asked for.
That was supposed to be funny.
Anyways guys, just trying to figure out what's next right now.
Just focusing on my kids,
focusing on trying to better myself and become the person I want to be.
I feel like these last couple years have really taken
a pretty massive toll on a lot of people.
Anyways, um...
Yeah, don't really know how to end this,
but thank you for all the support.
I've received a lot of kind messages, and yeah, so thanks, guys.
