Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd Announce Split

Alright, well, before we continue with anything else, Paige and I have something that we want to share with everyone. We are no longer together. I don't know what else to say that. I mean, yeah, we're not together anymore. It's been, for everybody wondering, even though, like, we don't have to share, but it's been a while. It's been, like, over a year. Thank And to share that because everybody, you know, everybody's going to be like, oh my gosh, they're teammates. How is this going to work? We were not together before she got drafted, so all of those narratives can go to bed. She was not drafted because she was my girlfriend. you. She was drafted because she deserved it. She's an amazing human, amazing basketball player, and we're still friends. We're still cool. We broke up over a year ago, so we played an entire season together. We're the utmost professional. We care about basketball, and we're still friends. We're still cool. Sometimes in life there's just seasons and sometimes in life two people are just at different points of their life. We still support each other. We're still going to be great friends. We're still going to be great teammates. We're going to be professionals. We are still going to have other friends. We will eventually move on. We will. I know we will continue to be outside and be lit and have a good time. So we should not get punished for that as well. And also, like, we don't need messages on what the other person is doing. Like, it's like we're humans. Like, it's just at the end of the day, like, we still care about each other. We want the best for each other. And all the negative things can be put aside and you don't need to overanalyze everything. Her missing my high five because I was sweaty or whatever what happened. Okay, I got your high five. It was just a nasty high five. Okay, that stuff happens every day in basketball. I remember I was getting into her one time and it was a very animated conversation on the court. But what was I doing? Trying to pour confidence into her. It wasn't like berating AZ. We're still going to have normal teammate and human interactions with each other and with other people.
