Larissa Morais Painter Russia 1966

Russian artist Larissa Morais was born (Russia 1966) and raised in Moscow.
He has been painting since he was in high school, but his first love was not the paintbrush, but the keys of a piano.
While helping his sister with her art homework one afternoon, something sparked his passion for painting and perhaps stumbled upon his destiny.
Morais graduated from the Moscow Theatrical Arts Institute and attended the Graduate School of Restoration and Conservation.
His favorite subject is the human figure with attention to detail.
All his work is conceived from a sketch which he then paints on a large black canvas with very thin layers of oil paint.
