Welcome back and here's a live look from Tempe Town Lake.
It's stunning out there tonight.
So picturesque, so get out, go for a walk,
enjoy the nice cool temperatures and that beautiful sunset if you can.
We're currently at 75 degrees. We have nice calm winds
and the water levels are going down as you can see.
So the flood warnings are going
to start expiring as we go through tonight.
And even up at the Moenkopi Wash near Tuba City,
this is the only river that's still in minor flood stage at this point.
We're expected to drop below flood stage tomorrow,
but the flood warning has ended
up there at that river.
And here's a look at the ones that are left.
So the Little Colorado River is still under
the flood warning until 8 p.m. tonight.
We have a flood warning for the Gila River until 11 p.m. tonight,
south of San Carlos.
And for the valley, we are under a couple different warnings.
So we have the Verde River and the Salt River that flows.
All the way through Phoenix,
currently under flood warnings until 11 p.m. tonight.
And then the Verde River out toward Buckeye
and Gila Bend is under a flood warning until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
So this will last a little bit longer.
As the water continues to flow in that direction,
but they are going to, I think, slow down on those dam releases.
So we are not going to be seeing much more flooding into the weekend.
We do have a chance for rain,
but it's not going to be of a huge concern.
So skies are looking clear right now.
It's been a beautiful day out there.
Temperatures made it to 79 this afternoon,
right around normal for this time in November.
We're currently sitting at 76 in Phoenix, 57 in Payson.
61 in Sedona and 49 degrees already in Flagstaff.
Tomorrow, we are going to see a little trough swinging in here
and a low-pressure system building over Arizona.
So this will be our next weathermaker for tomorrow.
And it's going to bring in some gusty winds
to the Colorado River Valley
along our western state line.
And it will also bring some rain chances into Arizona,
mainly the high terrain and the eastern portions of the state.
When we do see that wind tomorrow,
it is going to be gusty in Bullhead City,
Mohave Valley, Lake Havasu City, and Parker.
We'll see Lake Havasu and Lake Mohave underneath these wind advisories,
and it could even see two- to three-foot waves out on the lakes.
So a lake wind advisory is in effect.
And we'll see gusts up to 40 miles per hour
that will come in from north to south.
This is 5 a.m. tomorrow morning through 5 p.m. Saturday.
Saturday. So if you do live on the lake or
Enjoy that lake life.
Be prepared for those big waves and gusty conditions.
As for the rest of us, we're going
to wake up to sunny skies tomorrow morning.
And tomorrow afternoon,
we'll see showers and thunderstorms out in far eastern Arizona,
the Four Corners region, the White Mountains,
even far southeast Arizona by noon.
Throughout the afternoon, a couple of isolated showers
and weak storms will build along the Mogollon Rim.
This is 6 p.m. tomorrow evening,
showing that chance around the Verde Valley.
Up around Sedona, Flagstaff,
and just along the Mogollon Rim out to the White Mountains.
That will continue through around 9 p.m.
A couple of sprinkles possible through tomorrow late overnight,
but everything should clear out by Saturday morning.
So it's going to be a beautiful, dry weekend across the state.
And our temperatures tonight will drop to 58 degrees in Phoenix,
46 in Sedona, and 31 in Flagstaff.
Tomorrow, temperatures are looking pretty similar to today.
We'll see a high of 80 degrees in the valley,
59 in Prescott and 56 in Winslow.
A slight warm-up expected Saturday
and Sunday with temperatures climbing through the low 80s in the valley
and in Flagstaff climbing through those mid
to upper 50s with lots of sun across the state.
So our weekend is gorgeous
and that weather will continue through early next week.
