It's definitely going to be a challenging one for everybody,
especially with our team,
with Rafa jumping in as well,
but he'll be up to speed quickly I'm sure and let's see
how the weather looks.
Of course I had the opportunity to jump
in two years ago where it was a very challenging
event, a lot of rain on Sunday especially,
but with that weather comes opportunities
and I hope that we can make the most of them.
In my head should be okay, you know, that's what I signed up for,
for long term, and yeah, I haven't heard anything else than that,
so in my head should be all good.
I mean, it's tough, isn't it?
It's the end of the season, when something like this is pushed all
the way to the end, you're left with not really any options,
so it's, yeah, it's not the easiest situation, obviously I want
to be racing in Formula 1, and I'm trying to, you know,
show my best every weekend, and I feel like we've had a good year.
I would never expect to do a first race here in Brazil, in Formula 1.
We know that he's in the middle of the,
almost in the end of the season, so you would not
really expect to be doing your first race here.
So just really excited to start this weekend and see how it will be.
Just wish for him, you know, that he has a good weekend at home.
He's obviously jumping straight away for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
It's not an easy task.
You know, it's a lot of attention,
a lot of expectations on your shoulders.
But from his side, you know, he's never been in the car,
so he just needs to enjoy and have the best time.
But I'm sure he's going to do this well.
He was always very good at doing that.
So, yeah, I'm happy.
And hopefully we have more press conferences, us three together,
because it's going to be fun.
I think yeah, it's a big number.
More and more drivers I think will join the club with these
very long calendars.
I think if you race 10 years now you are more than 250.
But yeah, Lewis obviously
Honestly, uh...
incredible career in Formula 1 and 400 races,
all of them in a very competitive position.
And, you know...
Congratulations to him and hopefully
a good race and a good weekend for him.
Yeah, very sad news given also that obviously Alan
was such a strong figure for Williams in our history,
being our first winner, our first champion.
It's obviously a big loss for the team as he's done so much for us.
It will be missed and all my best regards to the family
and close friends.
Alan Jones was a legend to the audience and I think
I mean he brought so much success to the team,
who have the team forwards in many ways and
And, um...
yeah a real sad loss for everyone but of course especially for us.
I've tried to think of what the meeting would be like,
how it's gonna go, you never ever know but
Um...
what I will do is I'll make sure I'm always just authentically me
and I would just I went back down
From taking responsibility for any part that I play
and any decisions that I make for the team and just continue to push.
They've been amazing two days,
but I still didn't get enough time to realise
and to digest what has just happened.
Definitely I'm very happy, I still feel surreal,
but now we're back at it, you know, we're back here in Brazil
and the goal is to win and try to finish this year on a high,
but it's been an incredible two days,
the support has been incredible, I've received a lot of messages
and by now I'm looking forward to this weekend.
We still have our constructors to fight for,
so every time I go out on track I don't care if I'm fighting for a win
or not, I still do my best, so I'll continue to do that this weekend.
Who knows how it will pan out.
I'm just looking to improve on the things I can
work myself and hope the things outside
of my control become slightly better next season.
