This One Simple Trick Made My Artwork Pop on Black Paper! | Finetec & Prismacolor 🐠

In this video, I swatch and review FINETEC Pearlescent Watercolours while painting a realistic jewel beetle with a beautiful metallic, shimmering shell 🪲 I explore how these pearlescent colours work for creating realistic details and painting a glossy, jewel-like shell with iridescent colours ✨ I layered vibrant watercolour tones, added pearlescent details, and worked on creating a realistic shadow to make the beetle feel as if it could crawl right off the paper.

This was such a fun and satisfying painting process, especially seeing the shell come to life with all of that shimmer and shine. I hope you enjoy watching the process as much as I enjoyed creating it! 💛
