A tropical disturbance, currently designated as Invest 93L, is intensifying in the Gulf of Mexico. With a 40-60% chance of formation, the system threatens the Gulf Coast, including Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Satellite data suggests rapid intensification, and the storm may be officially named following a scheduled fly-through later today.

We currently have a tropical disturbance
that has moved into the Gulf of Mexico.
The National Hurricane Center has given it a 40
to 60 percent chance of formation over the next couple of days.
And visually, it looks much stronger, as we will shortly see.
They have it hugging the Gulf Coast.
It looks like we have Florida, Alabama, Mississippi,
Louisiana, and perhaps even Texas in play currently.
Let's get some more information about this tropical disturbance.
It is not yet a tropical cyclone.
Or a tropical storm and it is being referred to as AL-93.
All right, Invest 93L enhanced satellite
from Lifebox Hurricane shows that we really have two storms here.
What appears to be two storms.
One blowing up just south of Panama City
and the other really in front of it.
I do see a gap here.
Now, there's a very good chance it could join into one storm.
But we've already seen thunderstorms in the New Orleans area,
and this promises to get much worse.
As you can see how fast the second part of the storm is building.
They will be doing a fly-through later in the day.
Based on the looks of this part of the storm,
they're going to actually name the storm by day's end.
And that's the Invest 93L satellite view, infrared view.
Also from my Fox Hurricane and see the water vapor
and it shows pretty much the same story
that we saw on the enhanced radar.
Now we do have several modeling agencies putting out spaghetti
models on the path of this storm Invest 93L
and they have it taking a sharp turn to the north
I'm following the Mississippi River north.
It's like it's going to avoid Texas, but these are preliminary
spaghetti models that have just been released.
However, they are all in agreement,
basically, as to the path of this storm.
Taking a look at Invest 93L's water vapor view,
you can see that it's sucking up the moisture.
This is only over a one-hour period.
And again, when they fly through the storms later this evening,
I believe that they very well could be named at that point,
based on how fast they're intensifying.
Moving over to Windy.com.
It doesn't look anywhere near as intense,
and I see what looks like a
little, a little weather manipulation here and there,
but nothing like we've seen the last few
days. I think they have that rotation just about down.
You can see the circular pattern.
That the silver oxide and barium have been placed on.
So we'll see if they can get it to rotate,
which they're trying desperately to do.
Someone is intensifying this storm.
Right now, basically the whole Gulf Coast is in play,
including the whole Gulf Coast of Florida.
With that said, please make sure that you're prepared
with a full tank of gas and batteries
And lots of fresh water and any other thing.
You might think you'll need to get through several days
with perhaps no electricity.
And always remember, the two biggest problems with storms like
this are the water surge and the tornadoes that spawned off from them.
So we'll be keeping a close eye on this storm
and we'll update you probably twice a day at this point.
So expect to hear more this afternoon.
God bless. Please share, subscribe, and always remember,
