Outrage over arrival of U.S. deportees to Swaziland,
a tiny African nation.
The U.S. has been quietly attempting
to strike agreements with a number of African countries
to accept deportees originally from other nations.
This is absolutely epic.
Across Africa and in the tiny nation of Eswatini,
fury has erupted over the arrival
of foreign deportees from the United States
after its government confirmed that migrants described
By the Department of Homeland Security,
a spokesperson as depraved monsters had been sent to its prisons.
This gives you some idea of where Eswatini is located.
South Africa being right here, Zimbabwe being right here.
Roughly the size of New Jersey, Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland,
is governed by a monarch with absolute power.
On Wednesday, officials said that five deportees
from the U.S. were now being held in isolated
units in its jails,
acknowledging widespread concern but insisting that deported men pose
no threat to the country or its citizens.
I'm afraid it's the citizens that pose a threat to them,
the deportations, according
to a statement by an acting government spokesperson.
said this was a result of months
of robust high-level engagements between the U.S. and
the Southern African nation,
meaning we had to pay them to take these people off our hands.
Critics of the move say it's unacceptable
for Eswatini to be treated as a dumping ground
for people considered unfit to live
in the U.S. or their home countries, for that matter.
I bet they could have never imagined
that they would end up in Iswantini's prison.
President Donald Trump's aggressive clampdown
on immigration has run into logistical hurdles,
with some countries refusing to take back their nationals,
but doing so only on a limited basis.
Some of those approached by the U.S., such as Nigeria,
have decreed being pressured to take in foreign deportees.
The Trump administration is committed
to removing criminal illegal aliens from the United States.
A White House official told CNN in a statement,
The administration frequently engages in conversations
with foreign nations on a variety of topics,
but we do not share information on private discussions.
This prison is actually surrounded by rhinoceroses.
I'm just kidding.
Earlier this month, the U.S. Supreme Court
Pave the way for the Trump administration to deport certain migrants
to countries other than their homeland with little notice.
Soon after, eight third-country deportees said
by the US Dept criminal records landed in South Sudan,
a nation on the cusp of civil war.
DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said in a post on X Wednesday
that the five detainees flown to Juba were nationals from Jamaica,
Laos, Cuba, Yemen, and Vietnam,
all whose home countries refused to take them back.
Quote, this flight took individuals so uniquely barbaric
that their own home countries refused to take them back, she wrote.
These depraved monsters have been terrorizing American communities,
but thanks to POTUS,
Donald Trump, and Secretary Naomi,
they are off American soil, McLaughlin added.
But prisoners were convicted of various crimes,
including rape, murder, robbery, etc., she
said.
God bless America, folks.
This is absolutely epic and may be a deterrent
when people try to sneak into the U.S.
